Excellent hotel with a very nice and respectful staff. The barman from the pool, Vasilis, is very helpful and kind.

Breakfast and dinner options are quite varied, with a good range of choices.

The swimming pool is also spacious - we had a fabulous stay to unwind and chill.

Excellent value price/quality. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay! It’s a cozy hotel perfect for relaxing and enjoying a good time. While there wasn't much entertainment—only a couple of events each week—we appreciated that even more. It’s the kind of place where you can truly unwind on the sunbeds, and we're not usually fans of that. The rooms were comfortable, the food was delicious, and the cocktails were made with quality ingredients. The staff provided excellent hospitality; everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional. If you’re someone who enjoys chandeliers and fancy decor, this might not be the place for you. However, the hotel had a charming Greek style with boho details in the lobby and bar. Overall, we would definitely come back!

Was greeted by Anna at the reception. She immediately gave us an upgrade for our honeymoon. Welcome drink was provided upon arrival. The grounds were gorgeous. We had a great room, very modern. The rates here were very affordable. It was about a 20 minute ride from the airport, which was very easy. There was plenty of parking. There are several lots around the premises. Cars are available for rent at the premises. The room was an open plan, meaning most of the bathroom was in the same room, where the shower and commode were like a separate “telephone booths”, in different areas. It’s a bit awkward for privacy, if you catch my drift. The shower was great! Plenty of hot water and large bottled bath gel and shampoo provided right in the shower. Our room had it’s own little pool attached to the porch, but it wasn’t so private, so we didn’t use it. TV channels went in and out, and there were too many French and German stations and not enough Greek stations. Excellent Breakfast Buffet. Plenty of different choices for everybody’s tastes. Great fried eggs and coffee. There was a huge dining room. The customer service here was outstanding, especially in the dining room. There was a nice big pool with a really nice pool bar. Plenty of sun beds. The beach is within walking distance to the hotel. It’s not the best beach for swimming but it’s pretty. It was wavy and rocky. Beach Towels are available at the front desk for 1 euro each. Plenty of nearby stores and tavernas by the beaches. There was a safe in the room. We had a very quiet and restful sleep here. I loved staying here, it was a really nice property and I would definitely stay here again. I would highly recommend this place to anybody and everybody. Efharisto Anna!

Photo’s in this site don’t do the hotel justice. Small friendly family run hotel. Just returned from this lovely hotel Anna and team very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Good variety of food even for vegetarian’s House keeping do a great job We had a pool room , the pool was regularly cleaned the rooms were spotless. The garden areas are really well kept and the paths everywhere washed every morning. The beach area not great as it’s a small sea front but we hired a car and explored. Good free car parking at the hotel. Would highly recommend as a base . Thanks everyone for making us feel so welcome 🤗

very nice hotel with nice territory. swimming pool is big enough, but in october already cold (no heating). staff is very friendly and always ready to help. good variety of food and drinks.

First time staying at Thai lovely hotel and will definitely be going back next year just about to book Felt relaxed and settled in from First day there arrived very early in morning and Staffa compadres us by letting us into our room very early so we could get some sleep … room lovely clean great showers view of sea Hotel quiet and five minute walk to other bars restaurants and beach Staff were so friendly and helpful Bar staff Billy made our stay great , Anna from reception also very helpful and all other bar staff and waiters were excellent Restaurant food couldn’t fault at all was half board No sun bed rush at all and pool music nice and relaxing and not blaring Rooms cleaned each day apart from Sunday nothing was too much for any of staff when asked for any assistance Would highly recommend for couples or friends wanting relaxing break Can’t wait to visit again next May

I didn’t expect that much from this hotel if I’m honest. Some of the pictures on the Internet led me to believe it was old-fashioned. But, this has been a really excellent hotel to stay at. I’m pretty critical of hotels usually! This one was just brilliant for the price. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, that goes for the serving staff in the restaurant and the receptionist and maintenance people (slight problem with my air-conditioning). The hotel was exceptionally clean, you just have to be a bit careful around the pool because the tiles can be very slippy. You have been warned! I had a lovely room with a modern shower and separate toilet. And there was a pool outside the room which I didn’t use. But, I did use the main pool and that was nice and clean as well. The pool is not heated so, depending on what the weather has been like over the last few weeks depends on how warm the pool will be. We came in October and the pool was pleasant , once you were in it. The food was buffet style. There was plenty of fish and meat, it was freshly made on the premises. My friend is a vegan and they made a special effort to cater for him. I particularly like the Greek yoghurt for breakfast in the morning along with the porridge. The savour dishes were really nice, the beef and the lamb superb. Like most hotels, the suite dishes are never quite as nice as they look. Perhaps it’s because they don’t use fresh cream unlike in the UK, so maybe it’s not fair judge by that standard. no complaints about the amount of fruit, plenty of nice oranges, pineapples, melon, pears, etc. Overall, this is a standard four star hotel but they really make an effort to please the guests and I just thought it was really nice.

Booked half board with Love Holiday. Been to Crete a few time. Atmosphere was exactly what we were after, very friendly and relaxed. Accommodation was spacious and kept clean and tidy by a lovely cleaning team. Food was exactly what we required, fresh and plentiful, with different choices of evening meal each night. Staff could not of been any nicer, so lovely. Pool had a very relaxing vibe, with bar service to your lounger; lovely touch. Staff were a credit to the hotel, displaying excellent inter personal skills. Thank you for a lovely holiday. 🙏

This review is for a holiday in June 2024 .Kept meaning to write it ! This is the 5th holiday we have spent with our Hara Ilios family and each time it just gets better ! This is in our opinion, the best hotel we have ever stayed in . It is a family run business and you can tell they all have the dedication and passion for it . The food is amazing here and there is a wonderful A La Carte restaurant you can book with A*** food and service called the Avali . I celebrated a birthday here along with my hubby and friends and every course was absolutely amazing and served so professionally by the lovely Leo and Billy . They presented me with a beautiful birthday cake they had made as a gift from the staff . So kind and thoughtful of them . The hotel , food , pool., location and everything about this place is top class but the real diamonds are the amazing , friendly and wonderful staff . Shout outs to Billy and Sophia at the bar -so friendly and helpful , Dillion the Dining room concierge-very professional and whom we had great banter with , Leo -friendly and professional. , our lovely Anna , the Guest Relations manager who helps us sort out everything from bookings , trips and everything along with the lovely Stavroulla , Perry the hotel manager - so friendly checking everything is perfect during our stay . Apologies to anyone left out ! You're all amazing! We really feel welcomed and it is more like a second home to us in the Summer . We hope to return here as often as we can for as long as we can . It really is like visiting family . See you guys soon !

My 2nd stay here and as wonderful as the first. The hotel is beautiful and all staff at all levels are friendly, professional and welcoming. I stayed in a room with a pool which was excellent. The hotel facilities are great - everything you could need. The new chef and his team provide delicious food of a high standard. We had food from the buffet, brunch menu and Avali in the evenings. The food was fresh with excellent choices for all. The hotel is exceptionally clean in all areas. I would highly recommend this hotel.
