Aqua Blu "Adults Only" - "by Checkin" Mini-hotel

From the moment we arrived to when we left, we loved our stay. All of the staff from the owners, managers to the cleaners were charming, friendly, helpful with recommendations for local restaurants and things to do etc. We loved the peaceful quiet poolside and loved the way the staff constantly checked you were ok all day long, nothing was too much for them. Marco was brilliant, always smiling. I usually look forward to going home after 9 days, I could easily have stayed at this hotel longer, it felt like home from home. It was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and in a good location. We didnt hire a car but managed to get around, taxis are good service and reasonably priced. We will definitely return again. From the moment we arrived to when we left, we loved our stay. All of the staff from the manager to the cleaners were lovely, friendly and will do anything for you. The vibe at this small resort is completely chilled, slow and relaxed. It was so quiet and peaceful all the time, everywhere was really clean and tidy. I slept better here than I do at home, the shower was amazing and we had a hot tub and a good sized outside lounging area too on the balcony which felt very special. Breakfast was great and they had a really good selection that you just choose the night before but can change or add to it in the morning. We spent quite a lot of time at the Bar, thank you Marco :) and although they don't officially have a restaurant they serve snacks till 18:00 everyday and are very good. If we visit Crete int the future we will not hesitate to stay here again.

This was the one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. I like to do a lot of research before travels and I'm so happy I cane across this wonderful, small place. Debi was the most attentive and polite, kind, lovely host we could have asked for. Happy to help us with anything and spoke to us to help us settle in every single day. The staff were also very lovely and helpful. We already can't wait to come back and visit in years to come!

From the moment we arrived at Aqua Blu, we knew that this was a very special place. The hotel is peaceful and beautifully presented with a pool comfortable sun beds a bar and seating to eat snacks and breakfast. Our room was perfect with balcony , shower room, tv, mini fridge coffee machine air con. It was cleaned and bed made for us every day! Breakfast was delicious a choice of eggs, fruit, breads, pastries, bacon, cereals, juices all freshly made. The location is ideal, 10 minute walk to the beach, you can walk further. Restaurants along the way by foot. You can get a taxi, only 10 euros into town where you have an abundance of shops bars and restaurants. What makes Aqua Blu a place you will want to return to are the owners Giannis and Despoina who can not do enough for you, so welcoming, friendly and genuine. They have a fantastic team working with them Marko, Giorgos, Eleni, Popi who are totally brilliant. We were made to feel we were part of their family! So if you are looking for a beautiful place to chill relax you must go! They only have 17 rooms which gives it a feel of a villa rather than a hotel. We will be going again next year!

Such an amazing hotel. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area. The rooms are light, spacious, and clean. Lovely bathroom, with waterfall style shower, and air conditioning in each room. The staff are so attentive and as there are only a handful of rooms in the hotel, they get to know your preferences for drinks and food. The breakfast is beautifully done, and has such a good selection (wish I’d snapped a photo!). The pool area is impeccable, peaceful and enjoyable. The location is great, only a 3 min walk down to the beach front and less than 10mins to the nearest bar/restaurants. Cannot speak highly enough! A five star bed and breakfast hotel!

Aqua Blu is the most perfect little hotel for couples or friends seeking a relaxing, peaceful and private getaway..and the best part - it's adults only! No water slides or children's entertainment, just beautiful, pristine surroundings, privacy, 5-star treatment, lovely friendly staff and a fantastic little cocktail bar by the pool. Oh, and the decor is gorgeous! The rooms are clean, light and airy and have everything you'd want - including air con, mini fridge, safe and unbelievably comfy super king beds! Had an amazing stay, and can't wait to return next year!

Staff was amazing. Marco went above and beyond everyday to maje our stay amazing. From beach suggestions to restraunts. 10/10. Cant wait to come back.
