Melitti Hotel in Rethymno

Melitti hotel is a nice and safe place to stay for families with or without kids. It' s very tidy (they clean every day) and quiet there. In your room you have a kitchen and can make your own food if you don't want to eat out. The beds are comfortable. There is an air conditioner, so you have a good sleep at night. The staff is friendly and helpful. Anastasia &George and the team react quick and effectively on your questions or wishes. You feel that your stay there is very safe and well organised. The hotel lies in two min walk from the beach and the sea street with a lot of cafes, restaurants, shops and the drug store. I definitely recommend Melitti hotel for your vacation. There you are in good hands.

Excellent apartment very close to beach. Room facilities were good, apart from a short shower curtain that allowed water onto floor. A little too far from old town, we did walk in a couple of times but got a taxi most times!

The room was exactly the same as in pictures . Great location . Quite during the night with short distance to nice restaurants/bars and supermarkets to accomodate your daily needs . Its only few steps away from the beach and the hotel have a pool as well if you feel like staying in the hotel . We absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend it . Also , to not forget , the staff was very friendly , helpful and professional!! :)

If you are looking for an affordable stay for your Rethymno vacation Melitti Hotel is a good choice. The hotel is what you would expect from a two star hotel. The rooms are okey with decent pantry, a balcony and basic utilities. The cons with the rooms are the bathrooms which are poorly cared for, the showers were dirty and the bathroom began to reek quickly. The AC did work but could use more maintenance from staff. The view from the hotel was nice, and the pool and the surrounding area is well maintained. The short distance to the beach is another pro. The area around the hotel is very calm at night which is good. The staff is also very friendly. So to summarize, if you don’t prioritize tidiness for your hotel room and seek a cheaper alternatives i Rethymno I would definitely recommend Melitti Hotel.

What a fabulous small hotel. The personal service from the wonderful Anastasia & George on Reception make this hotel a secret gem. What a credit they are to this small hotel group. They went the extra mile to ensure I had a memorable stay.

I certainly don't wish to forget the wonderful lady providing a fabulous breakfast and all the brilliant housekeeping staff. I stayed in Room 205 for a single person and I enjoyed every moment.

The location of the hotel in a side street means you avoid all the noise on the promenade.

If you're looking for a small hotel in a quiet location, yet close to all amenities, this is a no-brainer.

Wonderful hotel, super friendly staff. Good location, a few meters from the beach, around 2,5km from city center. Very clean, comfortable beds. Good value for money. For sure it will be our first choice next time in Crete.

I stayed in Melitti Hotel 20-27 September 2022, and loved the place, the apartments are value for money, just a few steps from the clean and wonderful beach in Rethymno.
The rooms are very comfortable and fully equipped, you can even cook in the room and you have everything in the kitchen.
I especially enjoyed the hospitality of the owner or the manager Panos, who was very supportive and excellent host.
Will definitely stay in Melitti if I again return to Melitti

Nice and clean rooms. Frendly staff. 20 minutes walking distance from old town, 50 meters from the beach. Breakfast is also good but it is the same every day, don't expect variety.

Panos was so lovely and helped immensly. My friend had an issue with the stairs so he moved us to ground floor. He was always there to assist, calling taxis etc. Chris was also helpful but couldnt figure out tv, which was ok he did try. At night there is no one on duty, just an emergency number, however felt safe and was ok. It is 2 minutes walk to seafront where there are supermarkets, restaurants and shops. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Best value for money!
