Had an excellent stay at the Apollon Hotel. Very friendly, clean and relaxing. Staff were great, Maria, jack and Clarissa (who did try to teach us Greek) only did learn yamass 😄 pool area was quite, which we liked however think that was just with covid. Good value self catering apartments, with a good cleaning service. Grounds have a delightful variety of fruit trees and plants. Relaxed atmosphete and friendly helpful service. There are a number of cats that patrol the grounds. We have had a lovely holiday based here in Crete.

Just had a week at this hotel with all the family. The staff were lovely, George, Ella and Mrs Joanna. They could not have done more to help in the circumstances. my dear i recently spent holidays in crete. I stayed with my wife and two children at the Bueno Hotel. We were greeted by a nice old lady, probably the mother of the owner. We have been back 4 times because it's a very, lovely place indeed, Manolis and Nikki are lovely and look after all your needs . It's quiet but only 5 minutes walk from tavernas and your usual holiday shops .

Back here after 3 years and it's still as wonderful. Manolis and Niki are superb hosts. The rooms are light, modern and airy. Great aircon and comfortable beds, lovely breakfast. Lots of bars and tavernas within a 5 to 10 minute walk but Evelin has a well stocked and reasonably priced bar and does daytime snacks up till 3pm. Great place to stay. The rooms are really big and the staff is always here to help you if needed. We stayed 2 weeks in the hotel and enjoyed the pool and the bar. The location is perfect, not so far from the town but always quiet.

The place is not to be missed for its large rooms with all comforts and its location, in the old town but facing the sea, which has no rivals if not in the newer (eastern) part of the town. We had an amazing vintage room(1couple)! Two floor apartment with balcony to Rethimno port. Its is located directly to the center of the main city and nearby you can find absolutely everything. We loved our stay at The Pepi. It was charming and the service was excellent. The interior of the room we stayed in was well laid out. The beds were very firm, almost too firm for us but it was not a deal breaker and the service and hotel itself were wonderful. This hotel has everything that an independent traveler needs! The room was perfectly suitable for our needs: it had a large comfortable bed and a sleeping loft for our teenager. Also, the location is the best; all that the Old Town has to offer is right outside, and the beach is within walking distance.
