Batis Beach Hotel

We hosted our wedding party at Batis Beach Hotel for our wedding held at Agreco Farm. We had 37 friends and family stay with us and we all had a fabulous time at Batis Beach. The stay started with welcome drinks, our room decorated, and flowers for me.

The staff at Batis have been so attentive, caring, and nothing has ever been too much. The rooms have recently been renovated and are super clean.

During the evenings we would often sit round the pool or on the rooftop and the staff would bring us ice, cups, spare chairs etc.

The location is perfect, right on the beach, a shop next door and lots of bars and restaurants.

The breakfast is incredible too, huge variety and plenty of options available.

Lovely hotel in perfect location opposite the beach. Rooms very clean and comfortable and the breakfasts on the rooftop each morning were amazing and such lovely friendly and helpful staff throughout.

Stayed here as part of a larger wedding party, perfect location by the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. 20 minute walk to the old town /harbour.
The staff were fantastic and no request was too much. Breakfast on the roof top was great.

Fabulous hotel! Friendly staff who go above amd beyond. Rooms are spacious and clean. The pool was cleaned daily. Situated perfectly to all the bars and restaurants and old town. The beach is across the road . Would definitely book again. Thank you ☺️

Nice, modern place to spend our holiday. The rooms are clean, and the view from the sea side balcony is amazing. I happened to spend my birthday in Rethymno and they were kind enough to leave me a bottle of local wine as a gift. I highly recommend this place.

We have just returned home after another wonderful holiday at the Batis Beach Hotel. We always return to the Batis as it has everything we could want to enjoy our break. The family and staff are so welcoming, reception are so helpful and the rooms are kept to an excellent standard.being cleaned every day. Recently walk in showers have been added and there is a lift to all floors. The area is so good as there is a beach right opposite the hotel with sun beds.
When you leave the hotel there is a promenade that takes you along the sea front and in a 20 minute walk you can be in the centre of the town of Rethymno. Before you get to the town there are many more very good tavernas, supermarkets, cocktail bars
and gift shops.
Everbody in this area has always been so friendly which goes towards making the Batis an ideal Hotel to choose.

We have recently returned from our 2 week stay at Batis Beach Hotel. Our first holiday in 3 years so we were really hopeful for a memorable and restful family trip.

Batis Beach really did help us with this in every way. From the initial meet and greet with Ismini upon arrival everything was explained and we were left with the impression that she was professional and friendly.

Our family room 105 was on the first floor to the rear of the hotel and very clean and regularly cleaned - bedsheets changed and fresh towels almost daily. We were concerned that noise from the Cactus bar would be loud and be heard from our room but this was simply not the case.

The room included Air Conditioning, fridge, security box, TV and WiFi that were all in working order. The pool was cleaned nightly when we were there and the beds by the shower were a sun trap. The pool was ideal for my children 7 and 10 years old.

Breakfasts in the morning were upstairs on the roof terrace with amazing views over Rethymno towards the Fortezza. My wife had mentioned that reviews had been very positive about Miss Katerina's scrambled eggs; I can only echo this as the scrambled egg was lovely (what is your secret?!). Breakfast consists of a choice of eggs, bread, pastries, cheeses, ham, tomatoes and our children's favourites - chocolate sauce and olives!

The hotel is approximately 20 minutes away from the old town at a leisurely pace where there are a plethora of places to eat in the evening.

The beach is across a road and sunbeds were 2 for €8 but that included two drinks (non alcoholic) from the Cactus bar. The freddo Espessos were brilliant.

It was our anniversary during the stay and I was able to communicate with Ismini and Maria concerning a surprise for my wife whilst we were there; that was dealt with again in a friendly and professional manner.

My daughter required some medical attention and yet again Ismini shone with her hospitality and advice directing us to a friendly medical centre. (Try to know your child's weight in kgs if you do need to go!)

My travel company transfer booking for our return home caused me some consternation and both Ismini and Aris were extremely helpful here too.

I hope this review helps you make the right decision for your hotel in Rethymno; I can't recommend Batis Beach highly enough.

We have just had 2 fantastic weeks at the Batis Hotel. It is family run by Aris, Mari and Katerina and they have Is mini on Reception. Everybody makes sure you have everything you need to have a perfect time and they are so welcoming as well The Batis is in the perfect area 20 mins walk from the old town and every where around are tavernas and bars and shops.The beach is opposite the Hotel where you can get drink service to your chair. The room are very well looked after and are cleaned Dailly and there is a lift to all floors.

We had such a wonderful time at the Batis hotel! The staff does everything to make your stay perfect! Very kindly and helpful. They had always a smile on their faces 😊

The location was also very good, you have everything you need just a few steps from the hotel. Will for sure stay here next time we visit Rethymnon. Thank you for excellent service! 😃 We really recommend this hotel.
