SAVUS Boutique Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at the savus hotel. The rooms were very comfortable, but it was the service that made the hotel really outstanding.

I want to give special thanks to Dimitris for making our stay unforgettable. Every time we walked in the lobby we were greeted with a bright smile which made our day complete.

We stayed here pre and post wedding celebrations after recently getting married in Crete. The hotel is beautiful and in the most perfect location in Rethymno, but the staff really made our experience so amazing. We also had some friends stay for our wedding and every one of us were made to feel so welcome.

The NICEST place we stayed at in Crete! We stayed in the Superior Room with a private hot tub on the balcony, and it was LUXURIOUS.

An INCREDIBLE unobstructed view, only matched by the shared view from the breakfast area in the lobby as you enter Savus.

But what really made our stay incredible was Dimitris, who greeted us at check-in and worked at the front desk in the evenings.

Such a warm, funny and delightful person to chat with - he walked us through every element of our room, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

We only wish we could've stayed longer!

Absolutely AMAZING hotel. Incredible staff.. warm, welcoming BEST location for such a good price!!! Highly recommend! Complimentary continental breakfast was highlight and workers were 10/10. Demetri greeted us when we arrived with homemade lemonade and snacks. Seamless experience will definitely be back!

This is the best hotel that we have stayed in! It is our second visit after we failed to find a different small boutique hotel on the Med, this year. The hotel overlooks the busy harbour, is situated between the old town and the beaches. Our room is large and fabulous with a jacuzzi on the balcony. The breakfasts feature a different egg dish every day in addition to the usual continental fare. The staff are outstanding; nothing is too much trouble. Rethymnon is a perfect resort: no too big, but with an unlimited choice of restaurants, all offering high quality food and service. We like to visit different places, but the Savus in Rethymnon is like a magnet

Wonderful one night stay in good location. The guy on reception couldn’t have been more helpful, gave us a complimentary drink (non alcoholic) and then showed us to our room. He went through everything in fine detail from how tv worked to air conditioning controls. Great rain shower. Usual facilities in room. Breakfast was really good, the chef cooks a different egg dish each day. Ours was poached eggs cooked the Greek way. Nice touch. There is no parking on site, but free parking is available at the port/marina nearby. Make sure you park on the far side where the white lines are. Overall great stay and would recommend.
