Santa Maria City Hotel

The hotel is just okay. If I could leave 5 stars just for the kitchen/breakfast lady I would. She cooked beautiful food and although she was extremely busy and on her own cooking for dozens of guests, she always had a smile and was happy to help. She was the highlight of our stay there but I hope the managers get her some extra help!

everything was very nice. breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and cleaned every day. the location is nice, you can walk to most places. the staff was great, an extraordinary and beautiful experience for us, we recommend it. and we also thank Sophia, we miss her already

The staff here are amazing. Always polite and friendly throughout my stay, especially the two ladies in reception.
Location is perfect. Few minutes walk from the beach and walkable to everywhere else. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Santa Maria City Hotel for 1 week. The location is PERFECT, at the very city centre, so close to everything you need.
The staff is very friendly and deeply concerned about customers' requests. All the staff members want to help you have the best experience in Rhodes.
The room was always clean. Breakfast was good enough. There isn't much choice, but food items are good and fresh. Our room had the sink only outside the bathroom, in front of the bed, which can seem uncomfortable at the very beginning, but you get used to it quite immediately. Anyway, rooms are similar to the pics they show you online, a part that on the balcony (so cute) the drying rack is a bit rusty. Ah, there's no WC brush, too (while in the pictures, there's one next to the WC). The toilet works well, but if you need it, try to ask the receptionist. They're so kind that maybe they'll fix this problem.

The employees are very kind and always willing to help customers. Maria and Kostas give us added value with their suggestions and tip about the island. Very suggested place for accommodation in Rhodes!

Staff are friendly and helpful. This goes for the front desk, the lady who does the rooms, and the breakfast staff. The lady chef running breakfast constantly came out of the kitchen to take stock of the buffet display, and fresh food flowed out of the kitchen constantly, so all items were always available. See attached pics. The coffee was strong and tasty. Rooms - basic but clean. Very clean! Beds were comfortable. A bit of late night noise from drunken revelers. Request a room away from the street if this will be a problem. Location was great. I gave 4 out of 5 stars only because the old town is a 20+ minute walk - less if you're young!!! It was by no means a deal breaker since there were shops and restaurants along the way. A pleasant walk. There are also restaurants right around the hotel, and the beach is about a 5 +/- minute walk in the opposite direction of the old town. Safety was never a concern. We went on many late night walks.
