Friendly staff, great location, plenty of space in the room with lockers to safely store your things. Beds were standard with clean sheets. Simple check in and check out process, would stay here again when visiting budapest!

Was very affordable ok, for one night.. It is also big plus that they have female dormitories.. Location is on the popular busy street, what can be good or not. I just wanted to be close the airport bus and that is the best solution, when you need to leave early or you will arrive late..

Everything was great. But there was a little bit smell on the room. I was satisfied with everything except smell👍🏻

The day I checked in on 18.1.25, write after 5 mins I came down to reception to complaint about toilet not draining and completely clogged with toilet rolls. Receptionist told me to wait for 1-2 hours and it will go, which didn’t happen till night. When I came to reception again the same night, other receptionist told me he will send someone from engineering on 19th to clean, no one came on 19th. When I went to reception on 19th morning, she told me no maintenance in house and it can only be fixed on Monday 20th. Lack of miss communication between team members can be seen here. They offered me to room moves but I denied because I already had my stuff unpacked in locker.
First 2 nights, I had to come downstairs to use toilet even at midnight. I was only offered a breakfast voucher for one day where in for a person who is vegetarian has near to 0 options except fruits, bread, yogurt, porridge.
I was in room 128.
I’m looking for some kind of compensation and would like manager to reach out to me at the earliest.

I've stayed in Wombat's hostels in Budapest (twice), Munich and London (also twice). Always a pleasant experience!

A very well located hostel, the facilities are very good, it is organized and clean. I really liked the experience, I was there for New Year's.

In the entire hostel there was a smell of dust. Sometimes I could not even breath. Addtionally bed was so uncomfortable and made noise even you turn around in the middle of the night. Crew was friendly and good location

rooms were nice and big, en suite bathroom, always clean. atmosphere was great, a lot of friendly people. staff was lovely and helpful. breakfast was basic but good, might want to get it in the city instead just for some variety - but still good to start your day with if you prefer a quick bite. very walkable area, a lot to do in the area and close to a lot of major landmarks in the city. many bars and clubs within walking distance. would definitely return!
