Everything was great here. Judit was a very hospitable host and the apartment was nicely prepared. The bed is comfortable and there is also a sofa, desk and full kitchen - all you need for a short stay. Everything was clean and the location was fantastic - next to the Astoria M2 metro station and close to Ferenciek Tér M3. Despite the city centre location the apartment was quiet and you can’t hear much road noise.

Amazing location. Affordable Clean, safe. It got hot and all there was was a fan, no AC but in colder times this would be perfect.

Exactly in the Center with most of the buses, trams halting at 1 min walk this place is easily accessible. Metro line M2 (Astoria) is next to the hotel.
The host, Judit is very friendly and helpful. She helped us to plan and also recommended some awesome food places.
The place is in old building but modern inside. It has all amenities in kitchen and Judit has kept whatever one can need in kitchen. Bathroom has all free toiletries in case you forgot yours or traveling light. Also, a environmentally sustainable!
You can get a room with private bathroom. Kitchen is shared.
If I or my friends are going to Budapest, this is the place we would stay again!!

Excellent location and just a few steps away from Astoria subway station (the bus to and from the aiport passes right by it). Judi is an outstanding manager and she will give you great tips on places to see and things to do in this great city.

I could stay here so comfortable.The hotel owner and her partner were very very helpful and kindness. They taught me Budapest sightseeing even though I send rude emails and I couldn’t speak English very well.
It’s my first time to stay the hotel which like airb.
The wall of these rooms was thin.I could hear noises from next room and also I made noises too. That is the only point of concern.

Very nice location in the centre of Budapest, near all the main attraction and 1min away from the station Astoria. The host of the hotel Judit and her collegue are very nice and helpful. They are literally one call away if you need something! The hotel is an old building but don't judge it from the outside! We had a wonderful and spacious room with a big window that makes the room very luminous. Highly recommended, we will be back here if we happen to come back to Budapest!

My stay at Gaia hostel was amazing! The property was so beautiful and clean! Hosts were friendly and helpful.
It was in a great location with loads of transport at the doorstep.

This hostel is situated in a great location. The hostel is clean and homey. Since it is smaller, it is pretty quiet compared to other hostels I've stayed in. Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay at Gaia!

Great and friendly atmosphere. The staff did their best to make us feel welcome and gave us a great overview of Budapest. Rooms were clean and the location (city center right next to Astoria) is A+.
