My recent stat at Hotel Golf was not good. The reception staff, at least one, was not knowledgeable on tourist locations. When I asked for a location of I tour I booked they circled my map with street where I was to go. I went to that location and it was incorrect. Biggest disappointment of my first visit to Europe. Devastated I lost the cost of this tour the hotel didn’t seem to care. There are no refunds if you don’t get to your tour on time. I would have been there if I had not trusted and relied on hotel staff to guide me. They don’t even get back to you!

Room is okay at best. Bed is comfortable. AC doesn't work that well, my room was hot all night and the AC is noisy. Kinda pricy for a room with poor AC.
The key they give you is ridiculous. A large metal handle attached to a golf ball. It's large and heavy, the last thing you want to carry around with you all day as you're out exploring.
Breakfast was okay, coffee is good.

This hotel was great for our school trip to Italy. It's right in the centre of Firenze and most visits were within walking distance. The rooms are very clean and the beds are replaced each day. The bathroom is small but it does the job, same for the room itself. The walls are quite thin and weak, meaning you hear everything; other rooms and traffic. The breakfast has a large array of delicious treats, a coffee machine, cakes, a toaster, cornflakes, etc. Would recommend for a cheap trip to Italy!

My family and I recently stayed at the Hotel Golf in Bologna and had a positive experience. The location is excellent, providing great connectivity to various parts of the city, making our explorations convenient. The hotel’s amenities and services met our expectations, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, it would be beneficial if the hotel could install mosquito nets on the windows to enhance guest comfort during the warmer months. Overall, I would recommend Hotel Golf for those visiting Bologna.

I heard my neighbour farting and coughing when I was lying on the bed in the room. That is not service I expected for 200 euro per night.

First, I'd like to say how friendly and helpful the staff is. Also, it's spotlessly clean, but could really do with a revamp.
We'd booked a double room with twin beds for three nights; however, one of the beds was a foldaway, and nether felt stable nor comfortable. Basic furniture--the wardrobe was big enough, but we only had one draw. A shame the TV didn't have any English channels or Netflix either. The bathroom lighting was poor and the switch to turn on the hairdryer was out of reach. Plenty of clean towels though.
A pretty good continental-style breakfast is included in the price.
This, what I think is a family run hotel, has so much potential. Especially seeing that it's only about a 15/20 minute walk to the heart of the city.

Found certain members of staff, including the manager, to be very unfriendly, no warm, welcoming smiles just perfunctory services, almost as if they viewed guests & their needs as an annoyance. Lift broke down on the morning of our stay, my travelling companion has mobility issues but no support from staff was forthcoming, indeed I had to take him up some breakfast, no update on progress of repair left him facing being stranded in the room. Fortunately he managed with some great effort to negotiate the 26 steps from first floor to ground. Won't be staying here again, but then I'm sure that'll give the staff some inward pleasure.

We loved this hotel. So close to the train station so you can hop on & go anywhere. The room itself was great. Clean & plenty of space. Air conditioner was perfect & much needed in the heat. The breakfast they provide is great & plenty. Overall I would recommend this place !

The room was clean.Nice confortable bed.Sound proofing not very good.
Near to the center like 15 min by foot.
Good-Normal breakfast with boiled eggs and fruit salad.Parking(free I think) at the hotel but limited spaces.

We had an appointment midnight at another hotel but when we arrived we couldn't reach the staff so we had to book somewhere else at the last moment. Hotel Golf staff was very friendly and helpful at the last moment and we got a room for one night. The rooms are very clean, fine bed and hygienic bathroom. Everything was OK. We want to thank them again for helping us at the most stressed moment. Thanks a lot.
