Hotel Balestri - WTB Hotels

This is the perfect hotel for a Florence stay. In the centre of the city but slightly on the edge so that you have very easy access to everywhere but it is also peacefully away from the madding crowds. The rooms are well appointed, comfortable, reasonably spacious, very clean, and well designed. The staff are standout - extremely friendly, efficient, helpful and attentive. Breakfast is just right to set you up for a hard day of tourism, the bar and outside seating area are good relaxing places. All in all an excellent choice for a Florentine stay.

Hotel was very nice. Room was spacious and the shower was tremendous. Bed wasn’t super comfortable and the staff that serviced breakfast and the patio wasn’t the best. Location was very good though so would consider staying here again.

this hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The front reception staff was absolutely lovely. Always greeting us with a smile on their face. The Breakfast buffet was delightful.
Our room was absolutely beautiful facing the river with a cute little window to open. It felt like a movie. The room felt very luxurious And we were very happy with the accommodations. Two things that did not feel luxurious that added to my review was the pillows are rock hard . And our toilet flush would stick every single time we Flushed and I would physically have to bang on The plastic part to get it unstuck. I did let reception know. Nothing was done about it.
Finally, the shower was probably the best shower I’ve ever had in my life with the rain showerhead, the temperature and the pressure was just Incredible. Overall, we highly recommend!

I stayed at the Hotel Balestri while in Florence and it was a great experience. The location, staff, comfort - there was nothing not to love.
I arrived extremely early and they were able to accommodate a very early check-in which I appreciated so much. We're taking almost an 8 hour early check-in and they didn't hesitate to open the room since it was available.
The room was spacious, clean and the air conditioner kept the room chilly which was important since the outside temperature was sweltering.
The breakfast buffet spread was impressive and delicious: pastries, eggs, fresh fruit and juice, yogurt, a variety of cereal, bacon, cured Italian meats...it goes on and on.
As far as location, it really can't be beat. It's just steps away from the Uffizi Museum and the Piazza della Signoria and situated along the Arno River. I mean everything is so accessible from the hotel. I was glad to have this as my home base to regroup and head out for the next outing.
Lastly, the staff were warm and welcoming and, as mentioned before, gracious and accommodating. They couldn't have been better.

Superb, truly refined in its restraint, well decorated in the place where it is located, from the window of the large room allocated to us there is a breathtaking view of the Arno, crossed by rowing boats, the Ponte Vecchio and the beautiful buildings in the center. The hotel is located in the center of Florence and from it is very easy to walk to Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria with Palazzo Vecchio and the famous Uffizi Gallery, Duomo (Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore), Piazza Santa Croce, places filled with much unsurpassed beauty artistic and architectural beauties; all within walking distance of Hotel Balestri. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to satisfy any needs of the guests. The rooms are spacious, well furnished, and carefully cleaned. Breakfast is excellent and offers a wide choice. Excellent value for money and quality. Absolutely recommended for both location and service.

Ideal location: neither too much in the middle of the noise of one of Italy's most popular cities, nor too far from the main tourist attractions. A point in favor of this hotel, besides its strategic position, is the magnificent view of the Arno, enviable. Very attentive staff, quality bar, beautiful bedrooms. Despite this, the price is not prohibitive

Excellent location on the Arno River. The staff treats you like family. The rooms are well stocked with necessities (even a foam roller). The breakfast was delicious and a nice complementary breakfast. The bartender was very friendly and gave great recommendations.

We stayed in several hotels in our long stay in Florence and this was one the best ones.
Kudos to Laura for being so attentive and helpful, she has great recommendations. She told us about this outstanding restaurant call La Chicca Boutique restaurant where we had the best meal of our stay.

Had a lovely stay here. Fantastic location and great staff. Room was clean and fresh although a bit small. Great towels!
