Reviews
The room was very spacious, and beds comfortable (when added a second pillow from housekeeping). The blackout blind was most effective. The noise level in the room (5th floor) from the street was noticeable (there was a Dodge Charger parked on the street and it was loud!). It is dated though. Shower over bath and wall hairdryer are serviceable but nothing more.
Breakfast buffet is serviceable. And didn’t use any other facilities or dining options.
I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel, and I feel compelled to share it. During my stay, I had to place my grey hat inside the ceiling recess of my room (321) to block an annoying flashing red light that made it impossible to sleep. When I checked out, I immediately contacted the hotel to retrieve it.
Despite my clear instructions on exactly where it was, I was repeatedly told that nothing was found. It is obvious that either the ceiling panel was closed with my hat still inside, or someone took it. Either way, my item—which holds great sentimental value—has disappeared, and the hotel has done absolutely nothing to help me recover it.
Being ignored after raising this concern only makes it worse. In a 4-star hotel, I expect professionalism, accountability, and at the very least, a genuine attempt to assist a guest. Instead, I have been met with dismissiveness and silence.
I would strongly advise future guests to think twice before staying here. If your belongings go missing, don’t expect any real help.
The staff are absolutely charming and do all to make you welcome whether at reception or breakfast room and Michele in the bar 👍
Breakfast had lots of choice and was more than adequate so definitely worth including in your booking.
Rooms were absolutely spotless but had quite a 1980s feel in terms of decor. As the hotel seems solidly booked all year round, they probably don't have the chance to update it. No matter. It's a very nice place to stay.
I often travel solo and am used to poor single rooms but not here it was comfortable and spotlessly clean.
Kettle and fridge in the room with a few extras.
Breakfast was excellent. Everything from croissants to bacon and eggs.
The staff are helpful and friendly and I will definitely stay here again.
It really is only 5 minutes walk to the Duomo.
This hotel is suitable for the people who want to stay at a central location.
