Hotel Indigo Milan - Corso Monforte, an IHG Hotel

I wish I could rate this hotel a little bit higher. There is so much to like about it. The location is great. It was very clean, and the staff thoroughly welcomed us. The breakfast was great. The welcome drinks were good. The bathrooms were plenty roomy. We had a few issues that made me rate this as a 4 instead of a five. Our water went out for part of one day. Those kinds of things happen, but it was still somewhat annoying especially since we were somewhat delayed in getting our room. The beds in the room are a little hard for my tastes. I sleep on my side and the beds made me a little achy. I also don't like the automatic lights near the entry door. I got up to run one morning and it woke my wife when the lights came on. Overall, I would stay there again.

I have to say I’ve never been welcomed so kindly to a hotel! Giorgio and the staff at the front desk went above and beyond. We flew from NYC on a red eye and landed at 7:30. We arrived at the hotel at 10:00 and he did everything in his power to get us into the room as soon as possible. We took a fabulous nap on the comfortable bed. The shower is huge and there’s a fantastic little terrace!! Would definitely recommend

First - people need to understand the European star system. This is a solid four star hotel which means there is not a doorman nor a bellhop. However if you don’t want to pay close to 1000€ for a 5 star location this is a great choice.

Air conditioning worked very well. Can be turned down to 19 degrees and fan can be set to low medium high or auto. Our room was quite cool despite the high heat outside. Our room was quiet as well which is a huge plus. Yes you have to scan your card to get to the rooms and up the elevator (not sure how that extra security could be seen as annoying to some). It was appreciated.

Hotel location was a bit residential which we appreciated as well - it means that there are a few more non tourist trap restaurants easily within walking distance. We found the walk to both the duomo and the last supper perfectly fine (but we are walkers so 30-40 min no problem). So much better than a sweaty cab or Uber or metro. Location also felt very safe at 10pm.

Staff was lovely in every single interaction.

Breakfast was not great. Not sure how anyone thinks cold scrambled eggs and cold sausage/hot dog type are good. Possibly because we came down close to the end? Maybe it’s better if you are at breakfast early. Cappuccinos were fantastic though. And I’m not knocking this place a star for the breakfast because honestly I don’t expect much from an included hotel breakfast.

Great hotel. Close to city center but still a walk away. Parking garage close by, dropped off luggage in front. Breakfast was great from people to actual food. Would definitely go back in Milan. Only down would say is would like a king more than a queen bed.

Walk to city center easily. Same street as Lego store for the families… I stayed with my 9yo and we had a wonderful time. Small gym which was perfect for a quick workout. Staff were great and rooms well appointed. A couple nice cafes on the block as well. Would absolutely return again. 5 stars

The hotel is stunning, with exquisite decor and breathtaking views. Simone, our waiter, provided impeccable service, attending to our needs with grace and professionalism. An exceptional experience overall.

Joyce at the reception was very helpful. She organized a trip to Verona, bought train tickets for me, coordinate a late check out and updated me on WhatsApp. Not even in 5 stars hotel staff is so great

I booked a meeting room for a business meeting and tested the restaurant at Hotel Indigo. I can only highly recommend it. The food was delicious, the decoration is amazing and the service super, the experience was perfect. Congrats!

We had such a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The staff was very friendly, everything was very clean, and the courtyard was such a cute touch to our stay. I would love to stay here every single time I visit Milan. It’s in an amazing location and a few blocks away from the metro - can’t beat it!
