Chateau Monfort - Relais & Chateaux

Highly recommend the Château Monfort. It's ideally located to bus, tram, metro stops and coffee shops with central Milan within walking distance.

In terms of noise the room was well soundproofed and experienced no interruptions during those peaceful evenings. Fantastic hotel, great style, good service, welcoming and friendly staff.

We experienced one small friction point regarding changes to a meal to suit dietary preferences (dealt with) but does not distract from the overall enjoyment of being here.

This was the first stop on our honeymoon and the staff went above and beyond to make it feel so special. The room was gorgeous as well as the spa. Had a lovely spa treatment too. Easily walkable to great restaurants and shopping as well as the main square. Highly recommend!

First of all, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. They were very helpful in every way. The hotel's architecture is very beautiful and the location is very comfortable. We were very pleased, I definitely recommend you to go. We were worried about parking, but there is parking on the side of the road around the hotel, you don't have to go to the paid parking lot.

It has been years since we visited Milano, and I still have fond memories from when we stayed at Hotel Monfort on birthday trip to Italy. This hotel is absolutely amazing, and its service is top notch. It is also close enough to many of the attractions and restaurants - which adds to the excitement. The suite we stayed in was well furnished and beautifully adorned. In addition, they made my birthday special with some little surprises. I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely spectacular hotel with great service in a prime location. The whole place smells divine and the staff are very friendly and respectful. Spa was a 10/10, the piano player at the lounge wad very romantic, room size is great, breakfast can be improved upon when it comes to variety. Overall very satisfactory stay.

Gorgeous boutique hotel. Wonderful reception as we arrived and this continued throughout our stay. Fantastic staff, very helpful and knowledgeable. A beautiful stylish hotel, decorated elegantly and with lovely touches throughout, such as a welcome Prosecco drink from the bar. The room was stylish and all aspects to make our stay comfortable, were considered. I would recommend this hotel.

Marvelous Hotel. Vintage, yet chic. Perfect location with the metro just out front for ease of access to/from the airport and anywhere in town. The rooms were posh and perfectly sized. The gym facilities were excellent. The breakfast spread was divine. The staff and service were first-class from start to finish, making restaurant reservations at prime local osterias and arranging transfers wherever needed. This was our first stop and first time in Italy. Chateau Monfort set the bar high!

A wonderful experience from the doorman to check-in and our 4 course chef’s choice meal at the restaurant. A well appointed hotel with quirky design and decor. Great location - easy walking distance to hot spots. When we are back in Milan we will stay again.

We actually had a very lovely stay at this hotel. Our room was very unique and whimsical with a steam shower and working open air skylights. Benjamin at the bar was wonderful and took great care of us!
My only complaint is with the spa. It’s wonderfully done and decorated but I’m not sure the technicians had any certifications or qualifications whatsoever. I had what was supposed to be a lymphatic massage and facial. Both were awkward and uncomfortable. My face and eyelashes were almost rubbed raw with the sponges. I think the male esthetician scrubbed my face 3 times and then awkwardly slapped some kind of masque on me. I own a MedSpa in the states and this was the worst experience in a spa I’ve ever encountered. The technicians phone rang loudly in the middle of my service as well. It was obvious he was not professional or qualified to be providing any type of skin care or therapeutic massage services. Definitely NOT worth the price tag. Great place to stay but wouldn’t recommend a spa service. Just utilize the saunas. The space is beautiful, it’s a shame they don’t have qualified people providing services.
