The Square Milano Duomo

The hotel was ideally located to explore the Duomo and had several good restaurants within walking distance. The downside was the room was not properly cleaned before we checked in. The sheets needed to be changed, the drinking glasses had clearly been used and not cleaned. The room had decent curtains but not truly blackout as there were inevitable gaps and there was a small window without any curtains that let light in so make sure to bring a mask if you need truly dark to sleep. When we asked for a couple of wine glasses for the room we were told it would be an extra 6.50 or we could come get them ourselves, not a big deal but not the level of service you expect at this price point. Another disappointment they forgot to send our dry cleaning away and it wouldn’t be ready in time so we had to take the item back dirty. They did comp us a breakfast for that mistake but I would have rather had the dry-cleaning down before we left, luckily it wasn’t urgent. The rooftop restaurant was beautiful but after waiting 20 minutes for someone to take our order we decided to give up.
