San Paolo Palace Hotel

Avoid at all costs.

I'm here st the minute. Pool is green and closed. They save no ice for the drinks.

The rooms look like they haven't been touched since 1960.

This is not a 4 star hotel, I would struggle to give it one star.

It's also miles away from anything!

My sea view room is a car park.

All in all absolutely Bad and unfriendly personal, very noisy!
I stayed with friends for a week. Neither the hotel itself, nor the rooms are modern. Moreover, the staff was very unfriendly and not interested in the customer's welfare. The approx. 40 year old hairdryer exploded in my hand. Neither the staff nor the hotel director offered me anything. I advise anyone who wants to spend a nice beach vacation in San Paolo Palace not to do so. the beach, which according to maps is nearby, is totally filthy and resembles a garbage dump.
No potential in my eyes.

A group of students, who had to go to quarantine because of risk contact with covid 19 effected person, involuntarily lived here for 8/11 days, with feelings worse than in a prison, the catastrophic attitude of the medical staff towards us foreigners.
In the meantime we communicated a lot with the medical staff in the hotel as well as with the reception. There have been a lot of contradictory statements, vagueness, evasion, deception said by your medical staff ...One of the doctors said something that another doctor denied which I see as unprofessional and unfair given the situation we were put into.
Here, in this covid hotel, every doctor understands these regulations in their own way without any effort to synchronise the information before passing them to patients.
Noone of those medical staff thinks of the people who are they dealing with; here is a group of adolescent girls whose mental health is highly compromised by such behavior. At the same time is such doctor's behaviour unprofessional and confusing. To me and my group, every minute outside of this hotel means a lot. Girls are not Italian citizens, we are here as visitors! But still the medical staff have been fooling us since we have stepped in the covid hotel and are all the time referring to the law that they do not even interpret it in the same way between the team!
For a long time I will not forget and also forgive such inappropriate situation we have been put into in these already strange times. I will not visit Sicily for a long time either. I feel completely humiliated.

Hôtel four stars, it s a joke when you read the article on the website "la depeche"...Caution, covid guest on quarantaine inside!!!. To avoid.
