Hotel Amadeus

For a 3 star hotel, this place is actually pretty descent and the customer service we have gotten from senogre Fabio and Nicole made our stay in this hotel sweeter. They have provided us an excellent customer service and even gave us tips on how to stay safe in the city of Rome which is my main reason why I’m giving it a 4 star.

I’m not going to lie the room was smelly when we got in which was a little disappointing, but it’s not like we couldn’t do anything about it so my partner and I cleaned and disinfected our room and the carpet and even the bed all on our own. I just wish they had some iron for the clothes that we can borrow since it’s like a basic necessity to provide for the guests in any hotel. Another thing is they don’t have the “do not disturb sign” to hang on the door. Since we already cleaned and disinfected our room, we preferred if no one goes in our room other than me and my partner because we don’t use shoes on the carpet after disinfecting it, but we couldn’t do anything about it since they do not have the sign for the door to let the maid know. But the maid was also a sweet woman, and she organizes our towels and bed perfectly. 😊

Other than that, everything else is good I would say. The location of the hotel is very convenient and is very close to Termini and all the shops and restaurants which is a major plus! ☺️ There are some sketchy guys hanging out outside the hotel, but that’s something out of the hotel’s control.

Overall I would recommend this place to anyone who are traveling on a budget and would like a descent place to stay when they rest after each day. Rome itself is ridiculously expensive while the quality you get for paying such price doesn’t match the quality or service at all (I’m not pertaining to this hotel, it’s just in general). 😁

YOU HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED ABSOLUTE DARKNESS UNTIL YOU HAVE STAYED AT HOTEL AMADEUS. I will explain this later in the review. If you enjoy the thrills of an escape room, this is the hotel for you! To enter your floor, you must scan a bar code in such a way that is readable to the camera. Then, you have physical keys that bring a sense of sophisticated 1950's charm. Once in the room, the fun truly begins! If you, like many other tourists, forget to buy Italian specific outlet converters, you will need to embark on a scavenger hunt around the room finding the hidden adapter. I will not disclose the location of the adapter so as to not ruin your fun hunting! Tired and ready for a nap? Turn off the lights and experience darkness in its truest form. No matter the time of day, Hotel Amadeus will ensure your room is darker than anything you have experienced before. I do have to warn, this will result in the deepest sleep of your life.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They will also give you a lot of suggestions on where to eat and which areas to avoid. Overall, the location is very good. It is a very short walk from the Termini train station. The area is not the best (it is a little rough) but then again so is most of Rome. Honestly, this is a good hotel.

Friendly staff, good cleaning. Had an issue with payment at first and they were very calm and helpful in resolving the issue. Perfect budget hotel for staying close to Roma Termini

To note: the water pressure in shower not very good, and bed was acceptably confortable, but was to expect with hotel that price

Just arrived, very warm welcome and a brief summary of the surroundings and how the subway operates. The first impression of the room is positive and the ac seems to be working as expected (getting chillier as ordered).

Great location, friendly staffs in the front desk. We arrived early and were allowed to leave our luggage before check in. Room is clean and basic toiletries are provided.
