B&B Hotel Roma Tuscolana San Giovanni

This hotel was an amazing experience. The staff were all lovely helpful and friendly. The essentials in the little shop next to the reception desk was a handy touch. There's a natural spring just a minute walk from the hotel which is helpful for topping up water bottles. As a female solo traveller I was worried about picking a safe location I always felt safe walking to and from the metro and around the local area even when it was dark. Everything you need is nearby and easy to get around from the hotel. The buffet breakfast was good. The hotel atmosphere was calm which was good for me as I don't drink so didn't want a chaotic environment. I booked a room with a terrace I did feel slightly awkward when other people were using theirs too as it's not very private but I think that's more of a me problem it was still really nice to have that space to enjoy the hot weather when resting at the hotel. The air con was amazing and handy to have a smart TV with YouTube.

We stayed here 2 years ago - Although it is a little far form the tourist attractions, it was an amazing experience. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms were exceptionally clean and the area felt safe and had a large amount of restaurants, cafe's and shops to occupy your down time. Very close to the subway. I would definitely stay here again.

Cool Chromecast TV! Breakfast was actually quite varied and generous.

But the noise level? Yikes. Shouting, knocking, doors slamming past midnight... Both nights! Between 9pm and 2am, it felt like a hotel hosted by chaos!

Staff? Mixed. Some were kind and helpful - really trying to do their best. But the lady at breakfast, the one with glasses... She carried this visible air of irritation, like every guest was a task. Her face stayed locked in that "don't test me" expression. Cold, sharp energy first thing in the morning never helps.

I guess it's a stay I'll remember mostly for its noise. But also for the little wins - a familiar show on the TV and a good coffee in the morning!

It was a bit far from trainstation but the hotel was nice.

We had an amazing stay at the hotel! Although it’s a bit far from the city center, we had no trouble getting back late at night — public transport felt totally safe. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though the bathrooms could use a bit of an update. Overall, a great experience!

This was the most incredible experience. The room was fantastic and clean and the towels smelled lovely. There was a gorgeous little patio and had everything we needed. The staff were outstanding and the breakfast was delicioso. 10/10 would recommend. You will not regret staying here.

Room was perfectly clean and quiet but shower and shampoo bottles in the bathroom did not work well. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. However, the breakfast line was very busy in every morning. I had to come and queue for breakfast at 6:55 before the service started at 7:00 or I could not find table and some food would run out. Location is good for money.

Good value for the money

Our stay at Hotel Roma Tuscolana San Giovanni was fantastic. The room was spacious and clean with a decent view. The location near San Giovanni metro station was convenient for exploring Rome. The breakfast was delicious and the staff provided exceptional hospitality throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable visit to Rome.
