The hotel is in a very central location, 2 minutes walking distance to Cavour metro station. Walking distance to many touristic spots, especially the Colosseum. Lots of restaurants and markets are available around. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We were also very pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms, the whole place smelled clean, I did not see any problems with the cleanliness. We stayed for 2 nights and left with pleasure.

Nice hotel with an amazing location. Friendly staff and lot of tasty places around. Colosseum just in 5min of walking. Unfortunately i have not done photos on check in day, that's why will attach checkout, sorry for mess))

I stayed here one night in one of their smallest rooms. Despite this I still found it very comfortable and to meet my needs perfectly. The staff were so helpful from my many changes to my reservation to assisting me in getting a taxi on an extremely busy rainy night. And of course the location can not be beat. Should I ever find myself staying overnight again in Rome, this is the first place I will check for availability.

The room was clean with modern amenities.
The host was extremely cordial and served a great breakfast.
The B+B is 2 blocks from the Colosseum; and within walking distance to the Spanish Steps, the train station, and the Trevi Fountain.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

This delightful hotel is in a great location. Our room included a small balcony which has a view of the Roman Forum. All the staff we very friendly and helpful.
The rooms have been renovated recently. The air conditioning worked great. The room was large even with a crib setup in it. There is a lift from ground level, but note some of the rooms may have a small setup when entering.
The breakfast was nice and the coffee very good.
Always book direct!
Note. It would be nice if the balcony had a set of chairs as it’s a nice place to sit in the evening. There is not a kettle or coffee in the room, but they can make coffee in the bar anytime of day.

I have traveled around the world and stayed at countless hotels, but my recent experience at this establishment was beyond appalling. I can genuinely say it was the worst hotel experience I have ever had.
The owner & staff acted as if I was a nuisance rather than a paying customer. I felt belittled and dismissed, as if my presence was an inconvenience to them. I’ve never encountered such rudeness in my travels, and it left me in disbelief.
Things only got worse when I spoke with the manager, Mirella. I was hoping for an apology or at least a semblance of professionalism. Instead, she treated me with utter disrespect, refusing to listen to my concerns and speaking over me. I expected at least a basic level of respect and courtesy, but all I received was a dismissive attitude.
To make matters worse, this hotel has ridiculous, strict rules that they don’t even inform you about when making the booking online or at check in. They just expect you to somehow know these arbitrary guidelines, which only adds to the frustration. The utterly absurd rules are not clearly communicated and they treat you like a peasant.
After enduring this unprofessional treatment, I made the difficult decision to leave the property. I had to find another hotel, which was not only inconvenient but also an added expense since I ended up paying for the time I didn’t even stay at Hotel Centro Cavour. To add insult to injury, when I requested a refund for the night I wouldn’t be using, they flat-out refused, even after all the help they put me through. It’s infuriating to think that I had to spend more money because of such an awful experience, all while being treated like I didn’t matter at all.
If you value your dignity and want to be treated like a respected guest, do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel at all costs. I’ve never encountered such a lack of professionalism and basic hospitality anywhere else in the world. Save your money and your sanity—stay far, far away from this place!

We arrived late morning after riding the train for a few hours. We asked if they could store our luggage until check in. Of course, then she checked to see if our room was ready. Your room will be ready in 30 to 45 minutes. If you would like to wait, please have a seat and we will get you something cold to drink. I went to pay for the drinks and she said don’t worry about it. That is outstanding customer service. We stayed 4 nights. A very nice room, quiet, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast every morning was very nice also. The gentleman that took care of breakfast and making our double espresso and the cappuccino was outstanding. We walked to all the attractions in the area. We did take a taxi to the Vatican. I highly recommend the Hotel Centro Cavour. We were extremely happy. Thank you to the staff for a fabulous stay.

We had a great 3 night stay here! Staff was attentive and kind and they always did a great job with the daily cleaning. The room itself was quiet and comfortable, we both felt like the bed was soft and we so appreciated the cold water waiting for us in our room when we got back! Would definitely stay here again.

What a delightful hotel with everything required for a memorable stay in the centre of Rome. The hotel has very friendly and helpful staff. The location was perfect; literally a 5 minute walk away from the Colosseum. The room had everything required from soft fluffy towels to a kettle and coffee making facilities. Air con and en-suite bathroom with great shower. An added bonus was the comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. Lots of restaurants and shops around too. Highly recommended hotel. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again if I return to Rome. Thank you for a lovely, comfortable stay.

Traveling from USA - Location is Great ! About 7 minutes to colosseum walking distance and on the street you can fine RESTAURANTS everywhere and small convenience stores — Rooms are very comfy made me feel i was at Home inside the Room - coffee maker , the room had a small fridge as well … i can only say positive things about this place …. Excellent customer service ——
