Amazing little hotel! Loved every minute of our short stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The staff are incredible, the rooms and amenities are fantastic, and the location is close to everything you need in Rome. Bonus was how comfy the beds are! Highly recommend.

Extremely good service! Small collection of cigars that are slightly overpriced but justified by the environment and service provided, I was very surprised when they have some pretty exclusive cigars! Had to go back multiple times since it was just that good. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for a nice quiet environment to enjoy cigars and looking for Cubans cigars. Don’t bother going to fincato since they wouldn’t let you smoke in there or have any Cubans! 😂

We enjoyed a fantastic stay. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The team was superb throughout and assisted us with an airport transfer, printing some tickets and other recommendations. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon in October 2023. We booked this hotel last minute and it was the best decision we made. This is by far our favourite hotel in Rome, and perhaps even across Italy. The ambiance of the hotel exceeded our expectations and the staff were kind, genuine and hospitable. They went above and beyond to ensure that we were well taken care of providing small treats in our room daily, helping us secure sought after reservations at popular restaurants and made sure we felt at home at every opportunity. Without knowing we were on our honeymoon, our room was upgraded simply because they could. It was appreciated that they took the time to look into additional options for us even when we had not asked. The staff truly goes above and beyond here and it shows.

We loved the option of being able to have our included breakfast brought to our room daily so we could enjoy it on our balcony. This was such a special touch that made our honeymoon extremely memorable as it is rare to find a hotel in Rome that is able to accommodate something like this for all guests.

I would highly recommend staying here for many reasons and can't wait to be back.

Visited Hotel De’ Ricci yesterday and was greeted by Daniel in the lobby. He exuded competence and professionalism from our first interaction.

Subsequently I was served by Marta at the cigar lounge. Her warm personality and attentiveness made my visit so enjoyable.

It is said that hospitality and attention to customers makes the difference between good hotels and great hotels. And while this hotel may be smaller in size/decorations compared to others, the service at Hotel De’ Ricci more than makes up for it, giving it great stature.

I believe that under the care of Daniel and Marta, your stay will be in good hands. They are an asset to any organisation.

Beautiful and charming hotel. A very special place to stay where the wonderful people who work there make you feel extra special (especially Flavio, the general manager). Quiet location in the middle of the city, spacious and elegant rooms, delicious drinks/snacks at the bar, sublime breakfast and room service. We will most definitely return, thank-you for the lovely stay!

Quiet hotel with the very best service. They welcomed us with complimentary wine and dessert, sent postcards for us, made restaurant reservations, and brought us good food in the middle of the night.

Small, exclusive boutique hotel with only 8 suites in a recently renovated building. The renovation is of a very high standard. Everything just works and the interior decor is gorgeous: kind of retro chic. Our suite even had an old Olivetti typewriter.

The suite was 35 square meters in size, which is large by Rome standards. It felt even larger because of its high ceilings. The air conditioning worked very well, which was necessary because the daytime temperature went up to 32 Celsius. The shower was spacious (definitely not the usual Italian shower cabin) and it had strong water pressure. Oh, the bed! So comfortable… and the sheets! I slept deeply, without interruption. Let me emphasize how quiet my room was because there was zero street noise. Note that the hotel faces a tiny street which has no bars or restaurants.

Location: walking distance to Pantheon, Trastevere and many other monuments and churches that people visit in Rome.

Service: impeccable. The staff are just amazing. They go out of their way to help you. Their restaurant recommendations were excellent.

Wine tasting: this hotel has an incredible wine cellar and a great selection of wine. They stock the wjne fridge in your suite before you arrive. I did not get a chance to drink any of the wines in the fridge in my suite but asked to do a wine tasting in the early evening in the bar. Together with wine, the staff served very delicious hors d’oeuvres.

Breakfast came with the room and again, it was so much better than any hotel breakfasts I’ve had in Rome. The staff serve a big plate of cut fresh fruit, prosciutto, cheese, breads, freshly squeezed organize juice. For vegetarians, they can make a veggie breakfast. Because we had to go on private tour with an art historian early in the morning, the staff even brought breakfast to our room an hour before they usually serve it in the bar/restaurant.

In summary: this is the best hotel in Rome. It’s quiet, private, luxurious. And the service is outstanding. Special thanks to Flavio (the general manager) and to staff members, Ilaria and Marco, for making our stay memorable.
