Hotel Sonya

We stayed here for two nights before a Mediterranean Cruise. The room had an excellent bed with plenty of pillows. Everything was clean and neat. Only negative is the shower stall is extremely tiny, smaller than we've had in travel trailers.

Staff was outstanding. Not only did they take good care of us in the hotel but went above and beyond trying to make dinner reservations for our group of 11.

The area around the hotel is nice. We didn't observe a lot of traffic and the room was quiet.

Great location to explore Rome. Near Termini (central Rome transport station) and even nearer the Republica metro station. Republica is handy for getting to/from most of the tourist destinations in Rome.

A pretty old hotel near Roma Termini. There are many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Nice receptionists helping us to carry luggages. The cleanliness is normal.

Hotel Sonya is a really wonderful hotel and I cannot recommend it enough. Really friendly staff, pleasant check in, surprisingly spacious rooms that are also very clean and well appointed, and located in the perfect location within the city for a visitor keen to see all the sights. Stay here when you come to Rome!

Lovely clean room and bathroom had a jug and water but no tea..coffee..milk no biggy though food Mart across the road a lot of eateries with in walking distance, taxi from termini was only 13 Euro... lovely hotel and very helpful stuff.

Only 2 blocks from Termini, this small treasure accommodated us like a 5 star hotel. €10 breakfast vouchers for a great place and a very pleasant room. Highly recommend it!

Very good location, close to restaurants and shopping. Rooms can easily accommodate 3 adults. Staff was extremely friendly during check-in and check-out. There's a "Washington Snack Bar" nearby that serves American food. For cheap food nearby, go to Vacanze Ristorante nearby.

Great choice for our stay in Rome. Walking distance to Roma Termini and other attractions with great public transport connections nearby. The staff was very friendly, kind and attentive. Rooms are normal size for Rome, but with comfortable beds and extra pillows, clean rooms with a wardrobe and plenty of storage. At night, you may hear some noise, so wear earplugs if you are a light sleeper and the bathtub may be uncomfortable if you are big. But that did not bother us. The biulding is like 50 years old and the charming elevator is just for 2 persons, you just need to adapt. They were even kind enough to give us 1 room before check in time. Not suitable for wheelchair or a person with walking discapacity. Great restaurants just outside the building. Highly recommend it.
