Ruzzini Palace Hotel

Loved the experience at Ruzzini palace. The place is walkable distance from the top touristy places and the service was very good. Also we got boat service from the hotel at the service desk to the train station which was super helpful! The room was lavish and spacious with required amenities! Thanks for the hospitality! If we ever come to Venice again we will definitely stay at this place. Highly recommend!

We stopped at the Ruzzini Palace Hotel which was about 10 minutes walk to Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge. Our room was very nice and clean, reception staff very friendly and helpful. We booked breakfast with our stay which had a reasonable choice of food and drink to choose from. The hotel is located in a quiet area with a few restaurants nearby.

I booked the Ruzzini Palace because I was attending the 2024 Biennale. It proved to be a great success. If you arrive by private water taxi you will step off the boat straight into the hotel lobby - a very novel experience. The reception staff are professional, friendly and happy to help with any query you might have.
The weather during our stay was hot and humid and the cool air in the hotel lobby and in our room was wonderfully refreshing.
We stayed in an attic bedroom and had a view over the piazza. The room iis well furnished and very comfortable and the hotel has preserved and made a feature of the ancient roof support beams. As well as being a beautiful architectural feature, it gave a wonderful sense of the history of this great building.
We had breakfast in the hotel on two mornings. The staff were lovely and the food and coffee were excellent, a great way to set us up for a long day ahead.
I will most definitely be staying in the Ruzzini Palace again when I come back to Venice. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with an amazing water entry directly off the canal on one side and the public plaza on the other. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was ideal (in the middle of the city but on the fringe of tourist traffic). The breakfast selection was pretty impressive given the size of the hotel and was particularly helpful before catching an early morning flight. Otherwise, you're surrounded by great options in cafes and bakeries within a quick 2-3 minute walk.

The only thing to be mindful of is the sound transmission between floors given the age and construction of the building (typical throughout the city and not isolated to this hotel). The hotel did their best to limit this in the bathroom and closet areas, but in the bedrooms you may hear some noise from those in the room above you when things are relatively quiet. Not a deal breaker for most people, but something to be mindful of for light sleepers.

Will definitely consider staying there again when we return!

We had a wonderful stay in Ruzzini Palace. It was in an amazing location near the main square, but far away from all of the crowds. The room was spacious with incredible views of the canals with two balconies. It was surprisingly warm weather when we went, so the air conditioning was amazing after a long day in the heat. The staff were all super attentive, pleasant, and caring. When we come back to Venice, we will definitely stay again.

Wonderful Boutique hotel. Do not look anywhere else while visiting Venice! Room #404…lovely room and view too! Staff are welcoming and helpful. Breakfast came with our room rate (I believe it’s normally 20 euros) and offered plenty of variety. The lounge areas are beautifully decorated, make sure to explore them too!

Very nice rooms. Good location near the main attractions but not too near. Bar at night is fantastic. The bar tender is outstanding. He knew a lot about Italian spirits, wines and cocktails. 2 recommendeds they gave us for dinner were both very good. You can sit in a little private table on a canal and enjoy a beverage.

Phenomenal experience. Great location. Easy to walk to all the major sites. Room was great and spacious. The staff were extremely helpful and made reservations for us at local restaurants. Would highly recommend and I would stay again in the future

Beautiful suite. Quiet location, yet close to St. Mark's Square.

Nice, pleasant, very well maintained hotel. Good location in a quiet square, a little away from the hustle and bustle but still very close to all the attractions. Due to the coronavirus situation, tables in the breakfast room must be reserved; a wide selection is served at the table. Breakfast can also be delivered to your room. Good protective measures.
