The hotel is generally OK, but the elevator only goes to the 2nd floor. If you live on the top floor, you need to walk up one flight of stairs. People with large luggage need to pay attention. The location is quite remote. It takes about ten minutes to walk across three bridges from Venice Railway Station to the B&B. It will be tiring if you have a lot of luggage. But the room is very comfortable and quiet, and I slept very well. The room is also equipped with Daikin air conditioning, which is very cool. Breakfast needs to be reserved separately. The whole experience is quite good.

Absolute best friendly staff, very clean with maid service everyday, very calm beautiful atmosphere. The continental breakfast room is beautiful also with fresh choices of foods every morning. Close to shops, deli, and sites. I was there in Venice for 8 wonderful days. When I return to Venice, this hotel will be my choice for check-in once again.

I had the good fortune to spend spent a week in this hotel and it was an absolute delight. The location is perfect; the price is right, and the included breakfast is epic in a beautiful room. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Venice.

This has been the best experience we have ever had. Our room was amazing, and the balcony was right on the square...fun for people and gondola watching, (if a touch noisy). The breakfast is delicious and the staff wonderful!

We had a very hard time finding our hotel. The address on google maps and booking is their old address and it took us to a closed hotel. All around the hotel was clean with small rooms.

We traveled with our 2 dogs and we were super well treated. They provided us (without extra charges) a very spacious room on the ground floor connected directly to the street, that is an amazing thing when you have dogs. The staff it’s friendly, and at breakfast we were served by a very caring and friendly lady.

This hotel is an absolute gem. It’s hidden away in central Venice, reaching that perfect combination of being in the very heart of the City but also quiet. Staff are attentive and very pleasant. The rooms have the appearance of being old but that’s just their charm as beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious.

Great location near vaporetto stop, st. mark’s square and dogs palace. This hotel has an elevator making it handy for those not wanting to schlep bags.

Perfect location. Walkable to the ferry and main attractions. The room itself was difficult to temperature control. You couldn't really leave the windows open due to noise, cigarette smoke, bugs, and birds. Staff were friendly.

This is a small Boutique Hotel in a great location. We had room 101 with windows on the alley, Calle de La Rasse. We checked in Friday 8 pm and out Sunday 630am. Alley was a little noisy. Is hard to find accommodations in Venice. The apt was nice, and it was great that it had a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. Venice can be busy, but this apt was a bit in the outskirts, so it was a quiet and lovely area. Still close to main things in the city and good restaurants.

You can walk 5 minute and do all things in downtown and all calle are small like the hotel. Forget luxury and wide hall.

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to St. Mark's Square, and the service is friendly. The room is Venetian style, rather ornate, but that's the charm of it. The bathroom facilities do need improvement, as there was hardly any hot water.

Super well located hotel clean, but decoration from another age, does the job if your goal is to move all day and you are just looking for a place to sleep. Be careful the tourist tax is mandatory in cash and to be paid before the key is handed over ... and no exemption even if you arrive after a 2 hour delay, you got caught in the rain, it is 11:30 p.m. and you have to go out again to find an ATM

The hotel room was better than we expected, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great very near Piazza San Marcos. The breakfast had little options but all of them were good. The hotel had an elevator that for me traveling with my parents who are over 65 was a great asset.

Our room was very large and well-appointed and very clean. The hotel is steps away from one of the larger canals so getting there was easy. Santa Maria Formosa is across the piazza, and it's easy to get to almost anywhere as it's in the "center of town", if you will. The staff was SO friendly and helpful, honestly it was a magical stay. Our family of four enjoyed our stay at this property. It is in a traditional building (with renovated and modern bathroom of course) in the middle of a popular square. I thought noise might be a problem at night given its central location, but that’s not at all the case, we had the most peaceful and restful sleep. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff. The room was large, air-conditioned, regularly cleaned and had every amenity we needed. The hotel location was very picturesque, was surrounded by lots of good bars and restaurants and gave easy foot access to the rest of Venice. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection of mediterranean breakfast items.

The location is excellent, comfortable rooms but with a very small bathroom, which meant that the shower was very low and uncomfortable. At check-in they made a lot of turns and it took time unnecessarily.

Very honestly, a clean and well-located hotel, but that's it. Unpleasant, insulting and unfriendly staff, a factory, no respect. Breakfast more than basic for the price paid. The service is deplorable, TV does not work, at night it is cold you have to cry to get a higher blanket, the taps do not work, very little space in the bathroom. In the crowded madness of Venice, a family and romantic old fashioned place , cozy, warm, charming , close to all but not too close,run by Diego and Gabriel ,who love what they do, give it all -kindness and accomodate all your needs. Everyone at this property is super amazing. The staff is fantastic. I had an issue with my flight and they were able to help me contact the water taxis. They were just really genuine people. The staff were polite, the service was good, the price affordable, the bathroom big, the breakfast continental, but various. But - the rooms were tiny and the walls "paper thin". We heard the elevator, neighbors etc. therefore 3 stars, but if you are satisfied with a room where the bed takes the half of it - it is a nice hotel.

Staff was extremely curtious and helpful. Location was perfect for exploring all the different districts in Venice. We totally enjoyed breakfast every morning, which was served in the Hotel Violino D'Oro, around the corner (also where one goes to check-in). Rooms are clean, with small refrigerator and a safe. Air-conditioning from June to September. It was comfortable and useful place for sightseeing in Venice. It's close to the realto bridge. It's located on the first floor, so it's not a problem at the high tide season.

Basically the best part about this hotel is its location, as it is located in a very close proximity to the famous bridge. Apart from that, design of the room is very old school and feels like it has not been dusted in a very long time. Rooms feel small and somewhat spooky. The price was all right considering the location.
