Kind reception and beautiful place to stay.
Great location. Can walk to most places of interest. Eating places nearby. The pizza store besides serve good pizza and kebab at cheap price
Absolutely loved it it was great and the staff was super nice, very close to food places like restaurants and bakeries.
Great location and clean room and bathroom. Very old furniture especially the wardrobe and the bathroom. Comfy beds although old.
The Pantalon Hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of Venice, close to many attractions and restaurants. This way you can easily walk or take transportation to nearby places. If you plan to stay at the Pantalon Hotel, you will find that its location is very convenient! If you would like more information about nearby attractions or restaurants, feel free to let me know! I'd love to help you...
Generally good, but it is a fairly old hotel, without an elevator, the beds are not very comfortable and breakfast starts quite late (8:30). The location is good

The bed was quite large and very comfortable. The bathroom had a nice power shower with a modern spa-style set up with various jets, so was great for the end of a day spent walking around all the canals. It was very warm, despite the time of year, and the rooms were cleaned daily. There was plenty of choice at breakfast time, all served up with a smile, and all the staff were friendly and helpful....
We arrived at the most expensive hotel (AU$1600 for 3nts, 2 adults) we had ever stayed at, there was no lift to our room on the 1st floor. I struggled to carry 2 suitcases with no assistance from the gentleman in reception up to the 1st-floor room. This would be very difficult if we were older & unable to carry our cases. The wi-fi didn't work in the bedrooms only in the public areas - even though...
Very nice inn! Small but cute! Upon arrival we were greeted by a lady, very kind and friendly! In the morning a buffet breakfast is served, a buffet with little choice, but what it contains is enough to make a good breakfast! The only flaw was the room, the cleanliness, and the very small bathroom!
very good hospitality and we are happy with our overall stay.
The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect for visiting San Marco and all of the main attractions in Venice. Breakfast was very simple, but was a nice addition and the server was very friendly. Absolutely amazing value for money.
We arrived in Venice by train, we stopped one night to be able to get around the city without too many trips. The price is really competitive compared to most structures, also given the location which is really a stone's throw from San Marco. The Inn is small but very functional, the staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and minimal. There are some flaws... truly vintage furnishings and...

Breakfast was delicious! The garden area was beautiful. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Front desk was welcoming and extremly helpful with any questions. Would def go back. Note that you are about 10 minutes walk from the Rialto bridge and about 40 minute walk from the Piazza de San Marcos
We just arrived today and it's the first hotel in Italy that can actually accommodate our party of 3 a bit more comfortably. Nice location close to everything but off the bustle of the Grand Canal.
Great hotel in a perfect location to get to and come from the airport. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring Venice. Will be going there again next year

My mum really enjoyed our stay. It was very well furnished and food was well too. The staff are very friendly and they also serve afternoon tea. High quality teas too.
Very nice old palace with classic style interiors.  Location: close to the water bus stop of Ca' d'Oro, 10 minutes walk to Rialto and close to the food area of Cannaregio Service: Amazing staff, always with a smile and willing to help F&B: Breakfast is always the same and with limited choices (this is not meant to be negative for me) but, the quality is top notch. The afternoon tea time in the afternoon...
The room was large, but too old; the facilities were all complete! The local pumpkins at the front desk were interesting! The receptionist was very welcoming! The cookies in the cafe were also delicious.
good environment, safe district
Very nice hotel Clean Room nice bed location very good and staff very helpful.
Good location near to vaporetto stops for murano, islands and airport as well as the grand canal. Multi lingual hotel staff are knowledgeable and helped to book good local restaurants and assisted in booking a private water taxi back to the airport. hot water, complementary coffee and snacks were available during the day. Convenient location on the Grand Canal and about 15 minutes (walking) from St. Mark's Square. Easy to get to from the train station. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Our room was very comfortable, although the shower door does not prevent water from spilling all over the floor (slippery). We did not have enough cold water in the shower (a plumbing issue, I suppose) so we had to be very...
The Sina Palazzo Sant’Angelo was the 3rd of four Sina properties we stayed at while visiting Italy for 2 weeks. The 1st two Sina’s were both fantastic hotels. The Palazzo Sant’Angelo upped it another notch. The location was right on the Grand Canal. Fifty or so feet from a water ferry stop, and a 10-minute walk to Ponte Rialto or Piazza San Marco. This hotel was luxury in subtle ways. From having...
We recently stayed for 2 nights at the Sina Sant’Angelo hotel in Venice and were so impressed with every aspect. The location is perfect, centrally located on the Grand Canal. This made logistics so easy by taking a private water taxi from the airport that drops you off right at the entrance of the hotel. The vaparetto stop is literally 100 feet from the hotel so it was easy to get from point A to...
Book with breakfast. Very hearty breakfast, great atmosphere in an outdoor setting which was beautiful. Loved the location and staff were amazing to help with booking dinner and the Murano island plus any water taxis. All very smooth.
We had a wonderful stay at Sina Palazzo Sant’Angelo. The location is unbeatable — right on the Grand Canal with a vaporetto stop directly in front, which makes getting around Venice effortless. The interior is charming, with elegant Venetian style, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We were kindly upgraded, which made the experience even more special. Great hotel in a great location. Quiet, quaint - a real feeling of old Venice. Interesting history too. Somehow I fell in love with Murano chandeliers during my stay! I would recommend and will be back!
Beautiful hotel with really helpful staff. Excellently positioned for walking to all the main sightseeing places. Definitely advise arriving at the hotel via private water taxi. Its expensive but really sets the tone for a fabulous time in the city
Location was great. At a ferry stop so easy to get to and close to walk to just about anywhere. The hotel itself is just OK - nothing to write home about. The breakfast is the morning was great. The staff is unfriendly and not helpful. Not one person we encountered at the reception desk was nice or helpful. We would not return if we came back to Venice.
Third time staying here. Sept 29th & 30th. It’s one of the best locations in Venice. Some what away from the intensity of the centre of the city but close enough to make it to Saint Marks Square (if that’s your thing) in 20 minutes walking. The service is extremely friendly, pleasant & kind. The rooms we have stayed in require a little upkeep. It’s not something that’s enough to complain about… but...
The staff was amazing and the location is great! The hotel is charming, but if you are looking for a modern place go somewhere else. My room was quiet and very clean. My breakfast was great. I left Venice and when I returned, I was booked at another hotel. The other place was fine, but I regret that I did not stay here again. I hope to return next year for a longer vacation!
Location is very central, quiet, airco working well. Our room and bathroom was old, bed and pillows too hard for me.

It was absolutely magnificent... The location, hotel services, the attention of the reception staff and our bartender friend, their very friendly behavior and help made my holiday unforgettable. The view of the hotel, being by the canal, having a drink in the garden and experiencing that calmness, I am leaving my heart there and returning. 💞 Wishing to come back soon, thank you for everything🙏
The room is very big, the breakfast is OK, and it is 100 meters away from Piazza San Marco. The boat taxi to the hotel is 90 euros, and the hotel back to the pier is 100 euros.
A charming boutique hotel with an unbeatable location and outstanding staff, I would highly recommend Hotel Dona Palace to my family and friends. In particular, I would like to commend Roberto and Lupe for the exceptional service and warm welcome.
Staff were very kind and helpful with recommendations. Room was amazing! Breakfast spread was huge and very tasty :) We love the location too, 7min walk to water bus places like San Marco G and Rialto. Very walkable to famous landmarks, and many food and shops around.
The location is excellent, just one minute walk to Piazza San Marco... There is a water taxi pier to get in and out of the hotel to the airport or train station, which is very convenient and saves the trouble of dragging luggage. The breakfast is OK and the air conditioning is sufficient, which is very important in the summer in Italy.

The location is ideal! A short walk to San Marco but far enough away to feel removed from the large crowds. A water bus stop next to the hotel is very convenient! The bar and restaurant manager, Matteo, makes a fantastic Negroni. Will certainly stay there again!
Glorious location on the Grand Canal. The staff was excellent-clearly the most professional people are hired by the management. Breakfast, cocktail hour, and dinner were all delicious-we had no desire to look elsewhere when we could sit outside on a terrace next to the Grand Canal. Umbrellas protected us from a brief sprinkle of rain. The recommendation to visit Murano via water taxi was much appreciated...
We absolutely loved staying at Hotel Palazzo Stern! It was perfect in every way-the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Thank you Sabina for all of the great communication prior to our arrival and help during our stay! We will be back❤️
As charming as it gets! Stern was absolutely charming. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were super clean and well appointed. The downstairs bar was wonderful. You could get a drink and sit out on the veranda and watch the grand canal. Venice was super crowded the weekend we were here, but the hotel was quiet. Would definitely stay here again. Love Venizia!!!
Palazzo Stern, a boutique hotel right on the Grand Canale in the Dorsodoro sestierè, was a wonderful spot in May.The outdoor terrace for breakfast and dinner is romantic and magical, a front row seat to Venetian day time water life and nighttime beauty. Our room was well appointed and immaculate. The hotel’s location is optimal, easy walking to all sights and far less crowded than main tourist areas

This hotel was amazing. The staff were so helpful for any advice required. Food delicious. The location was so close to the railway station and very easy to find. The hotel has a good location, but you still need to cross a long bridge to get out of the central train station, which is inconvenient for those with large luggage. The hotel has its own water taxi station, and the front desk is friendly and can help you book a taxi. The hotel room was nice, but the water pressure was too low.
Loved everything about this hotel. Location to train station makes it v convenient. The room was delightful, gondolas passed by the window. The staff were simply fantastic. It has a beautiful garden that over looks the Grand Canal. Don’t look any further! This hotel is a winner.

Perfectly located, I rate the staff 10/10 for professionalism, friendliness and politeness. They take time to explain and show you whatever is it you need to know. Thank you for making our visit so warm and welcoming. Keep up the great work! I highly recommend this hotel.it is perfectly located in the san Marco square.
Well maintained, clean, comfortable rooms at a reasonable price point. Location can't be beat -- only a couple minutes walk from Piazza San Marco. Staff is super friendly. Only downside was that the [included] breakfast buffet was a pretty mediocre and exactly the same every single day with no variation (and scrambled eggs were dry).
We had a short but very comfortable stay at Albergo San Marco. The location is absolute prime, 50m from the heart of Venezia. The service was impeccable in every aspect (loved the kind attention the housekeeper had for our little girl) and the rooms are tastefully renovated. Great value for money.
The best is the location, is just next to San Marcos piazza, the staff is great and help us a lot, after you check out they can store your luggage, my impression was that they were a little short of staff nevertheless all were very kind and nice

Because its ornate arches, murky canals and stunning buildings give one the impression that they have been taken back in time, back to a place where iPhone-wielding tour groups and picture-decorated menus didn't exist, and nowhere in Venice encapsulates this better than the Piazza San Marco!
Not sure what to say about this hotel to be honest. My friend and I came here on a whim as it was highly rated. But it didn’t really live up to the expectations I had. Would recommend if you’re there for a weekend maybe. I don’t like to give bad reviews but you can try it if you like. Unfortunately the location is the strongest argument in favour of this place
Pretty architecture, lovely in evening light. Avoid cafes on the square as they will rip you off. Nice for an evening stroll through before you relax into a restaurant and dine the night away on all the wine and carbs
Beautiful Piazza with music, restaurants and TONS of shopping! A must go in Venice! We didn't get to enter the basilica but it was still a good time

Wonderful, charming little place. Staff were so kind and helpful, breakfast was so good, lovely rooms. It was so easy to get everywhere and right on a busy street but you would never know it, very quiet. Private courtyard in the front, perfect for people watching. Loved it!
We had a huge luxurious room, including a dry sauna. Breakfast was good, but pretty average in terms of food temps and freshness of ingredients. The location is pretty much the only positive about this place. Well the staff was also nice. It is very run down and the rooms clearly have not been given an update or a coat of paint in years. Do not recommend living on the Venice island cuz there are many bridges and stairs, especially if you have a suitcase. Quite far away from the train station, maybe around 15 min walk. It’s one of the cheapest when I...
Staff was very helpful despite our after hours check in. Good location, close to all Venice landmarks within 10-20minutes walk
The hotel was great. Easy check-in, very helpful staff, good breakfast, clean and comfortable room. The scenery of Venice is great. This hotel is located in the center of the main island, and it is relatively convenient to walk anywhere. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the train station. The hotel is relatively old (all hotels on the island are old buildings), so there is no elevator. You have to walk up the stairs with your luggage to the room.
