Hotel Canada is in a perfect location, very close to the Grand Canal, Suso Gelato, and the historic bookstore. The place is clean and cozy, even though the building is old. Small rooms. If you are a superman take this hotel because up and down with stairs to reach your room with luggage will leave your hands with lot of pain. We were two couples who stayed at "Quadruple room with Private Bathroom" for 3 days. The entire island of Venice was accessible from our location. We walked over 10,000 steps each day as an adventure to see all the shops and tourist sites. Our hotel was easy walking distance for at least 20 different restaurants. Entire house staff for this location were awesome. They were open for 24 hours to give directions and house clean.

The apartment is situated on a quiet street, close to all the restaurants and shops. We loved the gondola view and the spacious layout. We thoroughly enjoyed the place, though the bathrooms are a bit outdated.

The room I stayed in was on the third floor. It was a little old, but it was clean, had a good view, and the service was good. As for the location, it was difficult to carry a large suitcase from Santa Lucia Station because there were multiple stairs on the bridge.

It's a bit of a walk from the main train station, but it's close to the tourist attractions and the neighborhood is very safe, so I highly recommend it for a stay in Venice.

The location of the hotel is fantastic and the service is almost always friendly... it depends on who is at the reception. Unfortunately, the hotel and the rooms are no longer in good condition. Everything has been worn out by mass tourism in recent years and has not been renovated. It takes 10-15 minutes for hot water to come out of the tap... we recommend not staying more than 1 or 2 nights here

The hotel is tucked away in an alley, and we almost missed it when we were looking for it. Overall, it's pretty good. Although it's an older hotel, it's clean and tidy. It's quite close to the station, but if you have a large suitcase, you'll have to go over a large bridge with only stairs, which might be a bit tiring.

It's close to Piazza Roma! They're used to tourists, so they're happy to answer any questions you may have. Venice has narrow streets and a cramped atmosphere, but here there's a garden and the nearby walking paths are wide, so you can relax.

The room is a little small, but the decoration is good. However, there are long stairs on the way to our room, which is very inconvenient for girls like us with large suitcases. A lovely hotel bordering a canal in my favourite city. We visited in March as part of my wifes birthday present. We had some issues with our pre payment and through the language barrier of Italian/English and Visa card they resolved our issue whilst we were out having dinner. Breakfast is supplied, and although it is simple, it was more than adequate. Altogether, it was excellent.

A brilliant hotel with great value. Rooms are a decent size with all the crreture comforts you'd expect and the staff downstairs are incredibly friendly. This hotel has a very neat roof top terrace with some seating and fairy lights that come on at night, neat place to chill and have a drink.

There was no air flow in the room and the 'ac' unit didn't seem to work. We opened the window and got tore up by mosquitos at night. This hotel is great for those taking train since it’s just walking distance. However the reception is pretty rude.. when we came one girl mentioned it’s 9 Euro tax to be paid upon check out then on the check out another rude Italian guy said it was 14 euro and we only had 10. We got a junior suite here and the extra room was nice to have. Once we figured out the AC we were very comfortable. The location was five minutes from St. Mark's Square and vaporetto stops. We have been going to La Calcina for years and have enjoyed each stay. The property has excellent location with fantastic views of the Guidecca canal. It is located in a relatively quiet area of Venice and yet has easy access to all the main sites. The staff is very friendly and the rooms have a lot of the old world charm.

I stayed for one night, I liked everything, close to San Marco and the Rialto Bridge, clean, the staff is very friendly, they checked me in at 11 o'clock, I didn't have to wait. The breakfast is very good, there are cold cuts, yogurts, pancakes, etc. You can leave your luggage after check-out. I recommend it.

Gorgeous low key hotel very close to the Rialto boat drop-off from Marco Polo Airport. Very friendly front desk staff. Elegant rooms with everything a traveller needs.
