Great location and very nice staff. A few minutes walk to San Marco and also to via Garibaldi, where you can find many nice bars and restaurants away from the tourist areas. The room was very clean, but a bit small.

I had a really nice, enjoyable stay in this hotel. Beyond the excellent position, the staff was extremely kind and accurate in every detail; a perfect breakfast was served every morning by lovely people. First of all the hotel staff is amazingly nice and friendly, very energized and helpful. The check in process went smoothly and we got to check in into our rooms an hour before the official check in time. The hotel is just outside San Zaccaria station, so its a bit less touristy than the central area which is positive. The hotel is located in the center of Venice in a strategic point nearby all the things you want to do in Venice. The rooms are beautifuly furnished, small but ergonomic and very clean. Breakfast is very good. The only problem is that the bathroom doesnt have ventilation or window (this explain the 4 star). For the standards of Venice the price is OK.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom 1 bath quad with our college kids and it was perfect. Great location and amenities for inner Venice. The WiFi was excellent and secured unlike other places in Italy. My one recommendation for the hotel staff is regarding the breakfast. It could easily be much better. We did the later seatings and the eggs were usually gone and very little meat remained. The staff of this hotel were very nice. Shopping, restaurants very accessible if able to walk (Venice is difficult in general for anyone with mobility issues). Area was safe and quiet. Elevator did not go to our floor and shower door opening was very small. Our rate included a very nice continental breakfast. Use the S. Marco-San Zaccaria water bus stop for easier access.

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and I had the best time. The bathroom is super nice, the beds have a little candy on them when your room gets cleaned, great walking distance from San Marco square, and you have free tour to glass blowing factory and a pro at boat that costs nothing. Great location both off the beaten path but accessible to sites, super friendly and helpful front desk staff. Our room was sizable for a city center hotel. Breakfast room was a bit cramped, so after the first day we went down for breakfast a little earlier and that took care of that problem.

Great hotel with a nice princess bed type room and great location.

Really enjoyed this hotel. The location is great and the rooms were really well decorated, very timeless. Theres also a nice square behind the hotel to stop for an evening drink or get a croissant in the morning. The only downside is the glass collection boat stops in front every morning about 8am and does make a lot of noise so if you're expecting a lie in, bear that in mind.

A very traditional hotel in a spectacular location, just a short walk from San Marco square. We were lucky to get the room 210, were everything was done in Venetian style, but new and immaculate. We particularly appreciated the newly decorated fabric walls, the gold framed mirrors and paintings. Breakfast was not great, it would be nice to add some fresh fruit and eggs.

The room is elegant and spacious, and it's considered a large room on the island of Venice. The bathtub in the bathroom is well-designed, but the door cannot be closed from the outside, which may not be ideal if any odors from the toilet waft into the bedroom. I had a bad experience that another person accidentally took my luggage, leaving their own off of the water taxi from airport. I checked into The Paganelli with no other clothes, no toiletries and more than a little freaked out. This hotel is so funny, or more precisely, a family hotel. It may be a feature of the old buildings in Venice. It is in a small alley and is hard to find. There are straight stairs to the entrance. After checking in, you have to climb four more flights of stairs. I have 20kg of luggage, and my arm has been disabled since then... When I left, I had no choice but to ask the waiter for help. Location is great, but be aware the rooms (at least the ones we were in) were in a different building. The "24 hour" front often either had no-one or someone who didn't speak English. Room only had one power point in the bathroom. Use it as a place to sleep and nothing else.

Pretty nice hotell in a good location with a charming old style but the rooms were a bit old in other ways as well, with wear like cracks and signs of mold in the bathroom, loose power outlet, one broken light switch. I stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Adua. Check-in and out process was a breeze. The room is decent. There was only a sink. The shower and toilet is shared. Luckily I never had an issue of having to wait for the shower and toilet. The hotel is not the most luxurious but it is cheap and good enough. What made it better for me was the staff allowed me to use their laundry machines to wash clothes.

We didn't know that the hotel tax hadn't been included in the amount that we paid online and did not have any euros yet due to late arrival. The owners let us pay it the next day. If you think of it as basically a hostel, it's fine. Venice is expensive and we knew what we were getting beforehand so I wasn't too disappointed, but I probably wouldn't stay here again unless I was really on a budget. Staff was nice!

In Gerenal, hotel is small but nice. Not far from the ferrovia water bus station and santa lucia railway station. Room is very small and old TV but could be understood. Not many people watch TV when visiting Venice. Posible to deposit luggages before checkin and after check out. Breakfast is fine with bread. Location: San Croce neighborhood...which is nice. It's away from the crush of tourists, but close enough to be a relatively short walk from San Marco. Room: very small and very dated. Mine had a large, portable Ac/dehumidifying unit in it, with the large exhaust tube shoved out the window...which was open, with no screen. Room was clean enough, but in desperate need of an update. Excellent small hotel . Very good location near st Marks square and Fenice Opera house ( important for us as we were  going to the opera ). Hotel is located on a canal and has it’s own landing stage which is useful for a water taxi . Staff very friendly and helpful.  We had a room overlooking the canal which was lovely. Would recommend.

The hotel is generally OK, but the elevator only goes to the 2nd floor. If you live on the top floor, you need to walk up one flight of stairs. People with large luggage need to pay attention. The location is quite remote. It takes about ten minutes to walk across three bridges from Venice Railway Station to the B&B. It will be tiring if you have a lot of luggage. But the room is very comfortable and quiet, and I slept very well. The room is also equipped with Daikin air conditioning, which is very cool. Breakfast needs to be reserved separately. The whole experience is quite good.
