Great location and very nice staff. A few minutes walk to San Marco and also to via Garibaldi, where you can find many nice bars and restaurants away from the tourist areas. The room was very clean, but a bit small.
Absolutely loved this place! The location, staff and breakfast was just perfect. As well as the room, even though it was small it was very well decorated and comfortable to sleep in. The location couldn't have been better. You can see many local attractions as well as restaurants, the waterbus connection is good, the canal is near and even the area it is in is very beautiful. The staff was very friendly...
We spontaneously checked into this hotel as the AirBnB wasn't available anymore. After a call at 9 PM we were warmly welcomed 20 minutes later. Despite the last minute booking, the rooms were the cheapest in whole town (85€ a night) and very clean and with good air conditioning. As I had to work the next day after checkout, the receptionist was kind enough to let me stay 4 more hours in the lobby to...
Excellent experience in a magic location. The staff was friendly and extremely polite. The rooms and the hotel are very clean and tidy. I’ll definitely come back because it has been a marvelous staying. Thanks Lara and Nicola for all the advice on the local restaurants recommendations 😊
I had a really nice, enjoyable stay in this hotel. Beyond the excellent position, the staff was extremely kind and accurate in every detail; a perfect breakfast was served every morning by lovely people. My room was nice and quite, and the staff told me that they are completely renovating the hotel. Can't wait to come back and find out the result!
First of all the hotel staff is amazingly nice and friendly, very energized and helpful. The check in process went smoothly and we got to check in into our rooms an hour before the official check in time. The hotel is just outside San Zaccaria station, so its a bit less touristy than the central area which is positive. The rooms are tidy and clean, the view wasn't that nice but you usually don't expect...

Nice hotel, room was very nice and quiet.
Perfectly located. Clean, confortable and beautifully renoved building,
Good service, very neat and clean, very safe, very near to water boat stand.
Nice place. Central location. Nice room on the fourth floor. Courteous, friendly, helpful staff.
Very well maintained refreshed property. Accomdating staff. WiFi is weak and unworkable.
Nice hotel in a superb location, little noisy, can hear guests in other rooms, by not to the degree that it bothered us.

The hotel is located in the center of Venice in a strategic point nearby all the things you want to do in Venice. The rooms are beautifuly furnished, small but ergonomic and very clean. Breakfast is very good. The only problem is that the bathroom doesnt have ventilation or window (this explain the 4 star). For the standards of Venice the price is OK.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom 1 bath quad with our college kids and it was perfect. Great location and amenities for inner Venice. The WiFi was excellent and secured unlike other places in Italy. My one recommendation for the hotel staff is regarding the breakfast. It could easily be much better. We did the later seatings and the eggs were usually gone and very little meat remained. The staff was lovely...
Shops close by and the small gated area was so pretty. Our belongings were safe there beyond checkout and they were very accomodating and kind.
Location was far from nearest train station (30 minutes walk) and not many good amenities.
We chose a simple "no frills" room (CDN $ is so weak to the EUR) and it was just that but it was clean and comfortable. Nothing like what the website pictures show. Room 101. All of the staff were super friendly. The breakfast was a great experience and our host was excellent. No complaints there. A very personal experience compared to what we're used to in North America. Make sure you have a data...
The staff of this hotel were very nice. Shopping, restaurants very accessible if able to walk (Venice is difficult in general for anyone with mobility issues). Area was safe and quiet. Elevator did not go to our floor and shower door opening was very small. Our rate included a very nice continental breakfast. Use the S. Marco-San Zaccaria water bus stop for easier access.

The room was super clean! The staff was super friendly, breakfast was ok. Hot water wasn't hot enough for us, we didn't ask them to fix that as we stayed only for one night. Recommended!
I recently stayed at Hotel Malibran and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is located in an extremely central area of Venice, just steps away from the main tourist spots and very close to the big shopping district. Honestly, the location couldn’t be better—you can walk everywhere, and it makes exploring the city incredibly easy. The building itself is quite old and would definitely...
We stayed for 2 nights end of August 2025. We chose this hotel off of a hotel site and were very pleased. We wanted a hotel that reflected the culture of Venice and this did. The desk help was very helpful and gave us recommendations for things to see. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was good. On our departure, the manager called us a water taxi and led us to the location for pickup...
Hotel Malibran is a cute gem tucked away in a quiet corner but located very centrally, less than 10 min. away from the Rialto station, so you get very tranquil nights while still being within walking distance from the main touristy areas. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and decorated in fantastic Venetian style. The AC is great and the linen is clean and new. The bathroom is on the smaller size...
3.5/5 but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and round it up to 4. The hotel's location is tough to beat as it's centrally located in the Cannaregio district close to the Rialto Bridge. That makes it super convenient as a base to explore the city. Everything is walkable from this hotel. 5/5 for location! The included daily breakfast is great. They give you a lot of food so you don't have...

Hidden gem Wonderful greeting. Wonderful staff. Charming tiny old lift. Clean room. Great view. Great breakfast provided with a full service restaurant to dine later.
Would stay there again. Hotel went out of their way to help with all travel arrangements. Terrace suite was comfortable and spacious.
Charming small hotel just steps from the Accademia bridge and vaporetto stop. There was a problem with our room AC when we arrived, and they immediately fixed it. Lovely views of the courtyard in back, and the street in front is quiet. Excellent breakfast (but beware of mosquitoes if eating outside). Very comfortable rooms, and staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
We absolutely loved our stay. All the employees were kind and helpful. Breakfast was superb. The location, close to the vaporetto and the Accademia bridge, was very convenient and quiet. Our room was very clean and comfortable.
Conveniently located very close to the water taxi. Clean hotel. Super friendly staff. Away from the tourist crowds. Great breakfast.

Very nice and cozy hotel. The staff speaks very good English and can help you any time. Good location.
Really pleasant experience. The staff are very friendly and patient despite our lack of Italian. Rooms are not modern but very clean and everything works well. Would definitely stay again
Very good location, clean, good service.
Good spacious rooms. Shower did not have enough water force which made taking shower difficult.
Nice hotel, it is small but that is to be expected in Venice. Breakfast is not great (some very sweet croissants, little bread with cheese, salami, chicken slices , jam,...) But it is good enough. Rooms are a bit old , especially the electricity - but they are really clean , especially the bathroom
Small and efficient, great access to St. Mark's square and other Venice spots. Great service and clean rooms!
The hotel perfectly located, it is a 2-minute walk from the beautiful Piazza San Marco and is surrounded by lots of cafés, restaurants, and shops. Loved the property, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great. One minute walk to vaporetto (stan stae stop), great restaurants within walking distance. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
It's right next to a vaporetto stop, making it quite convenient while in a quieter part of the Rialto area.
Well located classic Venice Hotel Great place - very well located, great breakfast and very comfortable overall. If you can, use the water door on arrival by water taxi!

Nice hotel. Bed was abit too hard. Breakfast was nice, staff is super friendly. Good location, close to the water vaporetto's and abit off the tourist spots so less hasstle to get back. Air condotioning was nice!
Great hotel with even better hospitality. The management was super accommodating especially with the vegan requirements for breakfast. They offered us plenty of options and always with a smile. I highly recommend this hotel!! The staff is amazing and the room was very clean! I stayed in 211 which had a mini balcony overlooking the Grand Canal. The hotel provided free drinks upon arrival, breakfast, and a free private tour to the Murano glass factory, which included a free private taxi ride. The ride out there...
Amazing hotel at the Grande Canal. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is, considering Italian standards, really great. Our room was tidy and had some venetian furniture. The hotel felt more like 4* or above rather than 3*. Therefore it is an absolute bargain for that price and a must-stay at Venice. Thank you so much for making our holidays something very special
Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and I had the best time. The bathroom is super nice, the beds have a little candy on them when your room gets cleaned, great walking distance from San Marco square, and you have free tour to glass blowing factory and a pro at boat that costs nothing. A wonderful place to stay if you decide to visit Venice.
Great location both off the beaten path but accessible to sites, super friendly and helpful front desk staff. Our room was sizable for a city center hotel. Breakfast room was a bit cramped, so after the first day we went down for breakfast a little earlier and that took care of that problem.
Big room, good bed, good size bathroom.Efficient staff, The location is near the Central bus stop and on 3 canals, nice view from the window, some urban noises, but from boats as they have no cars in Venice.
Amazing rooms and the view is Superb. The people are super friendly can't recommend enough

We have had a very nice and confortable time in Venice. The Hotel dell'Opera offers all what could be required for a good time in the city for a long week-end.

Great hotel with a nice princess bed type room and great location.
Really enjoyed this hotel. The location is great and the rooms were really well decorated, very timeless. Theres also a nice square behind the hotel to stop for an evening drink or get a croissant in the morning. The only downside is the glass collection boat stops in front every morning about 8am and does make a lot of noise so if you're expecting a lie in, bear that in mind.

Ideal location. My room was a little dark, but it was in a traditional Venetian style. Simple breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. They all speak English quite well. It was quiet in my room, absolutely no external noises
A very traditional hotel in a spectacular location, just a short walk from San Marco square. We were lucky to get the room 210, were everything was done in Venetian style, but new and immaculate. We particularly appreciated the newly decorated fabric walls, the gold framed mirrors and paintings. Breakfast was not great, it would be nice to add some fresh fruit and eggs.
Located steps away from St Mark's Square, this vintage hotel offers clean rooms and clean bedding. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. However, breakfast quality is lacking, and kitchen staff seem nervous, especially when ordering extra coffee. Overall, a decent option for its charm, location and price but don't expect a stellar breakfast experience.

The introduction said that was breakfast included, but it didn’t. Although the receipt showed “no meal included”, it misled the breakfast including when viewing the page and the price.
The room is elegant and spacious, and it's considered a large room on the island of Venice. The bathtub in the bathroom is well-designed, but the door cannot be closed from the outside, which may not be ideal if any odors from the toilet waft into the bedroom. This hotel is so funny, or more precisely, a family hotel. It may be a feature of the old buildings in Venice. It is in a small alley and is hard to find. There are straight stairs to the entrance. I stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Adua. Check-in and out process was a breeze. The room is decent. There was only a sink. The shower and toilet is shared. Luckily I never had an issue of having to wait for the shower and toilet. The hotel is not the most luxurious but it is cheap and good enough. What made it better for me was the staff allowed me to use their laundry machines to wash clothes.
Wonderful service and the owners are the nicest people I've ever met. We needed to book a room the day of arrival and they were very helpful and accommodating! Good price too. Would stay here again!!
We stayed here in Venice for our vacation. The owners are very pleasant. We didn't know that the hotel tax hadn't been included in the amount that we paid online and did not have any euros yet due to late arrival. The owners let us pay it the next day. We asked if we could leave our stuff after check out due to a tour being booked after checkout. They told us they would keep it in the office for us...
If you think of it as basically a hostel, it's fine. Venice is expensive and we knew what we were getting beforehand so I wasn't too disappointed, but I probably wouldn't stay here again unless I was really on a budget. Staff was nice!
Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Bed was nice and room was large enough. I could have a very good night of sleep.
