I had the best deep tissue massage of my life at Aman today. Valerio (massage therapist and asst spa manager) is a miracle worker. Knowledgeable, strong, intuitive - a healer.
While on a visit to Venice my wife and I had an anniversary lunch at the Aman hotel. We chose to sit in the new garden area which is next to the Grand Canal. The lunch and champagne was served with discreet attention by Diego and his colleagues and was fabulous. Diego also gave us some interesting history of the property and garden. All was excellent from the crisp linen tableware to the food and...
Thoroughly professional without stuffiness. Beautiful building and perfect location. Rooms are well equipped and extremely comfortable. Restaurant is top notch with perfect service. Staff anticipate your every need. The garden is lovely and a nice place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. Amazing.
When you are paying this amount of money to stay somewhere, it had better be good! This is good. In fact, it's everything you would expect from an Aman. The arrival by boat from the airport was magical, and we were soon enjoying a drink and a tour of this amazing old palace. Our room was fabulous - large, luxurious and contained all the amenities we could possibly need. I particularly liked the induction...
The overall environment of Aman Venice is not bad. It is located next to the Grand Canal. The building itself has a historical charm and continues the quiet and elegant style of Aman. However, the facilities are relatively ordinary, without too many surprises, and have not reached the standards of luxury hotels. The service is disappointing, which is the biggest complaint of this stay. Most of the...
The best hotel in Venice, great service. After checking out, the hotel porter waved goodbye affectionately, it was so sad to say goodbye!

Without a doubt, one of the finest stays in Venice, in our opinion. Not directly in the center of Venice? Not a problem. It's worth the 10-15 minutes walk to have such serenity and quality. More importantly, the people who run and work here know the definition of hospitality. Time slows down, you're not just another tourist. Class, respect, and elegance are apparent the moment you open the doors.....
We would like to thank the whole team for their wonderful hospitality. We felt very well taken care of throughout our stay. The hotel is clean, beautiful, and well-maintained. The staff is extremely kind, helpful, and welcoming. The surroundings are also stunning, which made our visit even more enjoyable. We are truly impressed and highly recommend this place!
We stayed at this hotel for only one night, but we truly enjoyed our experience and would love to return. The only minor downside was that the breakfast could have been a bit more varied, though everything was very tasty. The rooms are beautifully decorated, well-renovated, and spotlessly clean. The staff were exceptionally attentive.
Villa Medici has a great pool and excellent breakfast
Through we stayed just for one night but we enjoyed every bit of our stay. The hotel is minutes away from the train station and right at the bank of canal offering beautiful views. The staff is courteous and friendly, We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family.
Wonderful stay here at the beautiful Ca Bonfadini. The receptionists were always very attentive and ready to serve. They’ve answered all our questions and made reservations for us for restaurants and water taxis. The room was impeccable, comfortable and clean. The showers had the best water pressure in our entire trip through Italy. It was also just a 5 minute walk from the Venice train station which...

The hotel left a great impression on my wife and I considering that this is our first Venice visit. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is great. Very well located as well. Thank you for making our trip memorable. We will be back :)
Very beautiful hotel in excellent condition in the center of Venice with a stunning view from the window on the Grand Canal. The staff are very responsive, friendly, accommodating. The breakfast is delicious with a glass of champagne and a good choice on the buffet. We would be happy to return.
The hotel is in a great location, not far from the water bus station! There is a seafood market next to it, which is worth a stroll! The hotel has good bedding and a quiet and comfortable environment! A very design hotel with attentive and enthusiastic reception! Highly recommended! Venice is beautiful! Worth a visit!
Location was very ideal, within walkable distance of pretty much everything. The hotel is clean with great services. The only thing that’s missing really was good wifi. Reception is poor and the wifi is slow. But overall, I’d come back again!
The hotel is very stuffy with no air conditioning to open the windows...the shower location is very small and the water pressure is low
The queen bed is a combination of two single beds
1300 a night really generally have better options
The only thing to like about the hotel has an elevator Breakfast styles are few
There are other better options… genuinely read more
This place is awesome. The staff are so friendly, speak many languages and offer and service you will need for your stay. The bathrooms are fantastic and the showers are big. Nice water pressure, good heat and the beds are comfortable. Much better than my experience in a "so called 4 star" hotel in Florence. This is what I expected and they didn't disappoint. Convenient location, shops nearby , close to the shore and good variety of food for breakfast. Room controlled Aircon, very comfortable.
I booked a three person room. The room was really big and spacious. The toilet is clean, but the shower area is a bit small. The room have all necessities, like slippers and shower products, and also toothbrush set from the staff, which is really good. The hotel is close to a boat station, which is convenient for travel. Overall really good!!
Pretty hotel : nice location , clean , spacious room. Like to stay with them again : )
Great location, large clean rooms, rich breakfast variety, gentle and friendly stuff. What else a guest wants more? Heating in the building and room was fine, hot water was well adjusted. Mini bar was full with reasonable prices. Bag storage is free of charge.
I strongly recommend Bisanzio hotel as a frequent traveller.
Staff gave the good recommendation for the Pizzeria which we really enjoyed.

Just spent 5 nights in this hotel and we absolutely loved it. The only reason(s) for the 4 star instead of 5 were unstable (cycling from warm to very hot for the duration of the shower) water temperatures in the shower and an overall lack of storage for clothing/luggage. Beyond those small issues, the hotel is gorgeous. The staff was friendly and attentive. Food and drinks were amazing. Hotel location...
Falling in Love with Venice at the Palazzina Grassi.
This review is long overdue for our amazing holiday at this beautiful hotel on the iconic Grand Canal back in late April 2025.
Our stay got off to a spectacular start. We had arrived from Las Vegas in the late afternoon by private water taxi from the airport and entered the hotel through the Grand Canal entrance. Unlike a usual hotel where one...
I must admit I am a hotel snob when I travel. The hotel is as much of the total experience as the places I visit. From the moment I booked to arrival and departure the experience was top notch! We arrived to warm greetings and immediately were checked in and taken...
Great hotel. First floor is really interestingly designed and comfortable. The hotel staff is a delight, they truly make you feel welcomed and make themselves totally available. The rooms are comfortable and the bathroom is particularly spacious. Location is also in a quiet yet convenient area. Easy to walk out OR simply take the San Samuele Ferry around the corner.
Beautiful hotel with an exceptional staff! Our water taxi dropped us off at the entrance of the hotel - so special! - and the staff provided 5-star service from that moment through our departure. Their kindness and attention was so appreciated. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the restaurant/bar and terrace were perfect areas to begin and end our days. Very decent hotel in a convent location-few steps from Vaporetto stop, 7 min walk from St Mark’s basilica, 4 min to La Fenice opera house. Great service and cleanliness, very comfortable room. Everything works as it should.
Extra paid breakfast is good, but in my opinion should be in the room’s price.

Exceeded expectations, super friendly and nice people and really comfortable rooms
Property was dated. Bathrooms and showers were very small.
Nice hotel not far from San Marco square, but very inconvenient system of stairs, which is difficult to walk with luggage. Quite tasty breakfast, good pastries and coffee. But the quality of service (I asked for an iron and waited for it for 20 minutes, in the end then I reminded about it, they just took me to the warehouse and there I ironed my things) and soundproofing are not at all up to par. And...
The hotel is located in front of the Venetian island. It’s a good time to check in on the first night.
The room is super small with 2 single beds arranged side by side.
On the second night, I asked to change rooms to the extra large room on the left.
The waiter has a nice attitude and proactively recommends restaurants
When visiting Venice, you must stay on the island
Arrived in Venice, it is quite a long walk from the train station. As per the picture, I thought the hotel was located on the lovely water front however that’s incorrect, the entrance is around the back, the bedrooms windows were boarded with no view. Beautifully renovated hotel on the canal next to the Guglie Bridge. We stayed two nights in a canal view room and loved it. Would stay here again. Clean rooms but lacked soundproofing. Reception was friendly and helpful. Based in a good location with water bus stop (boat departs from airport) very close to the hotel and walking distance to train station.
My husband and I really enjoyed staying here as a part of our honeymoon. Front desk staff was very helpful when we needed recommendations. The Grand Canal was SUPER busy so it was nice to be just a little bit away from that, but still super walkable without luggage to and from the train station. Room was clean and quiet.
Feels more like a 4 star hotel than a 3 star hotel. The manager accommodated all of our needs regarding Shabbat and Kosher. They gave us manual keys and lent us tape for the mini fridge. The location is also great because you don’t have to do so much walking to the train station or the Jewish ghetto. Would highly recommend those looking for a hotel for Shabbat or holidays. This hotel deserves its perfect score. Its location couldn't be better. 5 minute walk from the water taxi and 5 minute walk to St. Marks Square. Gondola ride right outside the hotel door. Warm welcome and room smaller than it looks on the website but tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was compact but again spotlessly clean with good amenities. Staff very friendly. I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience here this month. The room was very comfortable, the location fantastic, and a wide variety of items for breakfast! We stayed here in March 2024. It's a great location and the rooms were very nice. I also want to highlight the hotel staff that went above and beyond for us. After our flights got changed last minute, the staff helped arrange a water taxi to pick us up at 4 am so we could get to the airport on time. They even packed us a breakfast to take with us!
Excellent location for this nice hotel. Just a quick 4 minutes walk to Piazza San Marco. Boat stops at few minutes away, restaurants and anything one may need just around the corner.

It's located in the center, opposite the ferry terminal, so it's very accessible.
I was staying alone, but the room was clean and spacious.
There is no elevator, so it is difficult to get around on the upper floors.
My friend and I stayed in a triple bed room.
The access was very good, and the free breakfast was luxurious and amazing.
There are many restaurants nearby, so you won't have any problems.
Although it said that the accommodation tax was only accepted in cash, we were able to pay by credit card! It was 2.7 euros per person.
Wanderfull location, definitely one of the best in Venice! For the rest it's a pretty old hotel (like all these kind of hotels in Venice), but pretty clean. Breakfast also was very good. Overall recommended.

I had trouble finding the check-in location at the previous hotel at first, but other than that there were no particular issues.
The room was a little dark, but that wasn't a problem.
The breakfast was also delicious.
The hotel was lovely, it’s easy to miss as there is no big sign to direct you, and you have to check in at the sister hotel. But once we had checked in, the hotel was fine. the room was very red!
The room was clean and comfortable. It was located close to lots of sightseeing spots and very nice. Great breakfast.
In reality we did not stay even one night in this hotel but, with our insistence, at the end of the day we were transferred to the BELLE ARTI HOTEL as at the DOMUS CAVANIS on 8 December 2023 all the rooms were cold due to the general boiler going out of order. block

Loved this hotel -room was amazing with a canal view and we could see the Bridge of Sighs’ from the balcony. Staff knowledgeable and friendly perfect central location around the corner from St Marks square . Highly recommend would definitely go back to stay again
Hotel did not meet expectations. Website said they had an elevator which they did not. It was boarded up and looked like it had been out of service for months. Air conditioning did not work in the room and only cooled the hallway. Room was spacious and had two beds, but would not stay here again.
Everything was wonderful including the delicious breakfast buffet. Had plenty of choices including protein options such as eggs, meats, cheeses, Greek yogurt as well as delicious pastry options. Bed was not as comfortable as I would have liked but family room was very large and comfortable for 4 of us

Very nice hotel! Perfect location, friendly staff and quite good breakfast. The down sides are no water and trash bin in the room. We had a junior suite. Main let down was the snobby staff at the reception. We got three different receptionists and they were all not very welcoming at all. Very cold welcome.

Comfy room but poor sound-proofing.

Good enough to stay in Venice.
Lovely old hotel right on the canal and opposite the railway station. The room was rather 'tired' but more than made up for being possibly the only one with a balcony. Breakfast was good too. A totally delightful hotel and just a couple of minutes work from San Marco and some very chichi shopping.
The only reason I give the room four stars is because it was a little small - but it was so charming with its brocade clad walls, antique furniture and Murano wall lights that it made up for what it lacked in size with an evocative sense of old Venice.

Fantastic location however the hotel itself is a bit run down. Room was decent size but there was significant wear, such a mould/wallpaper coming off. The cleanliness of the provided glasses and bottles was questionable.

We stayed here with our 4 children and it was wonderful. Fantastic location close to everything. The staff were wonderful along with the dining options. A beautiful hotel. Highly recommend it.
A wonderful property in a fantastic location close to everything. The F & B options are wonderful and all the staff were delightful. I highly recommend this property.
It was great, probably the best hotel in Venice.
Location great, except for the view.
