Our party of 10 were welcomed with open arms. The men who are at the check-in desk are so friendly and knowledgeable. The whole complex is beautiful! My family had room 201 and it was so well appointed. My sons had the sitting room converted into two beds and my husband and I had another room that was very comfortable. The bathroom was perfect. Lots of thick towels and storage areas. The best location...
The hotel was comfortable and ideally located near the water transport and St Marks Square. The hotel staff were excellent, very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly particularly at the front desk. Nothing was too much trouble for them and I would definitely return to the hotel if we returned to Venice.
The hotel is in the most fantastic location - right next to the Grand Hotel and less than 5 minutes from St Mark's Square. Lovely rooftop bar with views of Venice. Helpful staff. Arrived by water taxi - what a way to arrive!
We stayed at the Locanda Vivaldi during our trip to Venice to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. The staff were really helpful prior to our visit and made booking a private river taxi on arrival really easy, and other bookings while we were there. The hotel was clean and had an authentic feel to it. They also spoilt my husband on his birthday! Thank you very much. Would highly recommend.
Absolutely exceptional hotel, one of the best we’ve stayed in. Super friendly staff that go above and beyond. A luxurious experience and a very authentic, beautifully designed hotel. Clean, efficient and an excellent location! Highly recommend!
Knowing this hotel, its comfort, location and people from previous visits to Venice I was pleased to return and to see positive changes. The most visible is the move of the breakfast room to the rooftop terrace - the place with the best view to the Lguna and entrance of Grand Canal, probably the best view overal in Venice. The breakfasts were great, but with such background they have no match elsewhere...

Hotel Ca’ Alvise offers a charming stay in Venice, perfect for visitors looking for a quieter location while still being close to major attractions. Situated just a six-minute walk from Piazza San Marco and eight minutes from the Rialto Bridge, this hotel blends historic charm with modern comforts. The antique furnishings and elegant décor give it a classic Venetian feel, while amenities such as WiFi...
We stayed here for 4 nights. The location was great, with easy access to St Marks square and the Rialto bridge. The rooms were a decent size, with a nice Venetian style to them. Breakfast was served until a decent time (10am), and had a good selection of pastries and cold meats and cheese.
This hotel has great rooms, being fairly priced and nice and spacious. It is in a great location being near St.Marks square in Venice. The staff were also very good and happy to help with whatever. Breakfast was also nice with plenty of food options. I'm definitely staying here next time in Venice!
We liked this place. We stayed only one night. The front desk was not staffed when we got there, and we had to wait about 5-10 mins for somebody to come but after that, they were very nice and helpful. Room was spacious and quiet. Location was perfect. Somebody in our group stayed in an single room. It was not quite as spacious, but still a nice room.
The room is old and there is no elevator. I was traveling with my old mother and was arranged a room on the 3rd floor. The furniture was of poor quality and the safe did not work. The stay experience was very poor. I would not recommend it to friends.
The hotel is a bit old. Good location

Our first stop in Italy was Venice. The hotel and their staff set a really high bar that no other hotel & staff met while we were in Italy. Stefano at the front desk in the morning and afternoon was amazing and helped us arrange a private water taxi from the airport, to Murano & to the train station after we had issues buying public water taxi tickets. Some of the best service from their staff we have...
Overall wonderful experience. The only downside to this hotel are the size of the rooms. We were traveling in Italy for 3 1/2 weeks so we had several pieces of luggage that made it difficult to move around the room. The view from our room was spectacular and the service was very nice. The best part of this hotel is the front office manager, Stefano Fiore. He's extremely kind, knowledgeable and helpful...
If you're expecting a 4⭐️ hotel by other big city standards, this isn't it due to a lack of facilities; pool, bar, terrace etc. But if you want 4⭐️ friendly service, great location, amazing views, then you found the right hotel! Amazing breakfast selection, though the small breakfast room gets very cramped at peak times. Rooms are adequate but definitely not roomy, but the views more than make up...
We loved our stay here! Fantastic view from the window was combined with great hospitality of the staff and great breakfast where you can find everything: eggs, bacon, yoghurt, fresh fruits, ham, cheese, croissants, cakes, pancakes and many else.
We loved our stay here. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are decorated beautifully and the beds are comfortable. You are right by a boat station and so what you gain in terms of location you lose in terms of noise. Breakfast was really good considering it was included. It’s a bit of a walk to the key tourist attractions but we preferred that. There are lots of nice restaurants...

I like this hotel, especially the main entry (very atmospheric). Rooms was cosy. Location is very good on a quiet street.
Great location, not far from water taxi, great breakfasts. Clean rooms, recommend 👍
The service is quite enthusiastic, but the location is underground, and there is a ditch outside the window, which is a bit depressing to live in. There are not many places for breakfast, so you need to queue up. The popcorn chicken is delicious.
I recommend the hotel. Nice room, great location. Decent breakfast. Didn't check in for 2 hours panic and didn't extend for the same time. Initial check-in in a room of a lower category. Changed to a room corresponding to the paid room size.
Pretty little hotel in the right part of Venice. Good location to visit the sites. Rooms were comfortable and clean, beds and pillows a bit hard! The front desk always had someone there who was happy to help with any information needed.
Hotels on the main island of Venice are indeed not cheap, but this hotel is not a good choice for a price close to 1700. None of the photos of this room on Ctrip match the room I actually stayed in this time.

This charming hotel is very well-maintained and definitely worth a stay. Our suite offered a fantastic direct river view. I would absolutely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Venice.
The location is a bit far from public transportation, which can be quite inconvenient if you're carrying luggage. However, on the upside, it's very quiet. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the luggage storage service was also a thoughtful touch. They also arrange evening lake tours. Breakfast was decent, but the dining environment was very pleasant.
We had a nice stay, due to great service, amazing location with many bars and restaurant, and overall good price.
Service and stuff are perfect! Bar is incredible! Will stay here next time for sure!
The facilities, ambiance, indoor and outdoor views, and breakfast were all fantastic.

We were looking for accommodation near the train station and Hotel Abbazia is perfect for that. While the rooms may be a little worn, ours was clean and comfortable. The staff was outstanding, very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
Nice rooms, great staff. A couple of things to be aware of: - My room didn't have a shower, just a tub. Some people I chatted with said their room had a shower. If that matters to you, ask. - No elevator. If you'll have a lot of baggage, ask for a room on a lower floor. I generally liked the breakfast, but the orange juice was so watered down that I switched to just water after two tries. In general...

Only thing negative was the warning lights right above the bed! Nice garden area. We'd stay here again.
My wife and I spent the last three days of our first trip to Italy in Venice, staying at Hotel Abbazia about one month ago. A very elegant palazzo with lovely rooms. Set away from the busy Strada Nova in a quiet back street. Beautiful gardens too.
We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Abadessa. The location was excellent for us, and was just steps away from a vaporetto stop. The breakfast, which we took outside in the garden each morning, was perfect, as well. But the staff members, and their kind, thoughtful, expert service, are what really set this place apart. I hope we can return one day!
Great stay, quiet, tranquil, excellent view from the junior suites. Customer service is fantastic, staffs are very friendly. Great breakfast options. The hotel is build upon a repurposed historic 16th century plaza.

Beautiful hotel right on the water. The room had a balcony overlooking the gondolas. Great location. Nice breakfast included. Room was spacious. Great value
Nice property close to all major attractions. Property has its own dock so you can go to the airport via boat.
Our room was facing the Grand Canal with two balconies from french doors. The location is halfway up the canal, with a Vaporetto station a block away and Gondola rentals next to the hotel. Good air conditioning and with buffet breakfast included. Value for money-highly recommended.
Our Studio Suite had 2 Juliet Balconies overlooking the Grand Canal and Gondola station. The decor was Old World and 550 sq ft. This hotel is in a near-perfect location: just off the Grand Canal, and our room had an amazing view of the canal and the Peggy Guggenheim Museum. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff helpful and friendly. The hotel was an important part of what made our visit to Venice so special and we will be staying there whenever we return. Very nice small hotel, renewed with good taste, very clean. The location is excellent in a small quiet street very near to the Canal Grande and the Accademia bridge. Friendly and helpful staff. At least in December when I travelled it was also excellent for money.
