Xerion Hotel in Kraków offers good value, and the breakfast was excellent, especially the coffee. However, I can’t say I was fully satisfied with my stay. Upon arrival, my room had an odd smell, though this was the least of the issues. The walls were very thin, and the hallway lights constantly turned on whenever someone passed by, which was distracting. While the rooms looked nice, they weren’t as clean as expected. Additionally, the reception staff was quite rude; I was told to park elsewhere without even being asked why I had parked there. Overall, I’m disappointed with my stay, though the breakfast did stand out.

Excellent 4 night stay here.
Food is very good.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
A good 30 minute walk from the centre but a taxi is about £5.
Only down side was an offensive smell in the bathroom which, we were told, is due to the age of the building and proximity to the river.

Great location. 10 min walk to schindler factory and square where Jews rounded up from ghettos. Next to square ( with chairs) you take number 3 tram- 4 stops to Krakow old town. Get a 20min pass for 2zl ( 80p) approx
Hotel restaurant lovely and good value. Decent breakfast i lncluding prosecco! Choice of coffee, tea and assorted foods.
Only slight issue was that tea/ coffee/ milk limited in room, but i asked reception for more and they handed me loads!
Shop ( cafe) 5 mins walk away selling all sorts at decent prices.
Rception friendly, knowledgeable and helpful
Taxi from airport right outside was 150zl ( under £30) and cheaper back if booked through the hotel)

The only down side to this hotel was the air con in the room was not manual so I had to keep going to reception to change it. Otherwise the corridor carpets could do with a change but didn't put me off. Staff are great

Location close to the centre, within easy walking distance. No parking, but not a problem

Lovely clean room , staff organised our day trips for us but they dont understand the exchange rate so double check, not their fault and certainly didnt effect our stay.
Room was clean and comfy beds, Food was good, coffee not so much. Would def stay again beautiful hotel and dining room and staff were pleasant.TV has no English channels.

Stayed here for 3 nights for anniversary and first time in Krakow. I'd like to start off and say staff were lovely and tried there best to help in any way.
Rooms are very different than what I'm used to being in atrium. Rooms are connected by door and thin walls so be wary(may have seen our neighbour have a morning shower as he didn't close his door curtains) Bed was rock solid so may be good for some people but we struggled sleeping while here. Did ask if there was any bed toppers but nothing was provided even though said would be sorted which didn't bother us. Shower was amazing and sort of stands out like a sore thumb making the rest of the room looking a little outdated. Electric sockets blew on us and broke our only phone charger. Food was average.
Everything could of been a bit better(apart from staff) but it was somewhere to go back to at an end of a long day.

Nice little hotel close to the centre of Krakow. The location is great, prices reasonable, There is a bar and a restaurant where one can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast is usually included in the room prices and it is Polish continental, tasty, with a wide choice for everyone's taste. The staff is young, polite. My room was in the atrium, Nice and spatious, modern toilet... WiFi is good without glitching. To conclude, excellent choice for staying in Krakow.

A lovely hotel with great breakfasts, a Cocktail bar and restaurant. A superb base for exploring Krakow, half an hour walk to the far side of the old town, the Jewish quarter is just across the river.

We stayed for 3 nights while visiting Krakow. The reception staff were wonderful and welcoming. Our room was ready on our arrival which was 3 hours early for the allocated check in time and we were delighted! The room was perfect, beds comfortable and spacious modern bathroom with shower. The room was in the atrium which was very different but really nice. We ate dinner on 2 evenings in the hotel and had breakfast one morning. Everything was delicious and very good value. The hotel kept our luggage on the day of checkout until we were ready to collect them on our way to the airport also which was great. Overall we had a fabulous stay at the Xerion and would recommend it. Its approx 20 min walk to the main square but there are fab places to eat and drink nearby all withing a few mins walking distance so for us the location was perfect.
