Reviews
Here’s a simple idea: if you want guaranteed, top-tier, true 5-star luxury, then pay €500–600 per night — that’s just basic economics. You can stay at the Bristol or the Raffles in Warsaw if that’s the level you expect.
For the price you pay here, I think this hotel is a solid choice. The rooms are large by European standards. Yes, the interior is a bit dated, but overall it offers very good value.
And to the commenter who felt that breakfast wasn’t “5-star quality”: I’ve stayed in boutique 5-star hotels in Germany and France, and aside from barista-made coffee (here you make it yourself at the machine) and maybe steak tartare prepared to order, the selection is very comparable — eggs in all forms, fish, meats, pastries, breads, and so on.
Giving it 4 stars due to dated rooms.
Unfortunately, the rest of my stay did not meet the standard of a 5 star hotel. The spa experience was particularly disappointing. There was no availability for a massage, and the staff member I spoke with was unhelpful and even a bit ironic. When I asked for a bathrobe for the sauna, I was told to use the towel from my room, which felt completely inappropriate for a hotel of this category. Moreover, the sauna itself had no towels available at all, which I found surprising, as I have stayed in other hotels with saunas that were not even 5 star, and this is usually standard. I eventually received a bathrobe only after asking at reception. The spa facilities were very limited, the sauna was very small, and apart from the pool nothing else was functioning. Overall, the facilities felt poor for a 5 star hotel and, in my opinion, the property does not resemble a true 5 star experience. It is a large hotel, but it clearly needs better maintenance and attention.
I also tried the breakfast (110 PLN), which I found very limited and not worth the price. I didn’t manage to enjoy any proper meal at the hotel, so I ended up going to the city center to eat.
On the positive side, the bar area was spacious and pleasant, although the prices were quite high. The gym was also surprisingly large for a hotel gym, even if I didn’t use it.
Overall, my stay was okay, but I wouldn’t choose this hotel again. My expectations were higher, and the hotel did not deliver the level of service, facilities, or quality that a 5 star property should offer.
Overall reception service excellent but the hotel itself not so great - plus breakfast is too pricy - 100 PLN per day.
