Good hotel in Singapore, mid range price and good location. Comfortable and good service. Rooms are a bit dated but functional. I was not impressed by breakfast (decent choices but not wide). Not sure I would come back, maybe if I find a good deal. Been in overall better hotels (quality/price) in Singapore.

I only dine at the Cafe De Oriental in the hotel. There is a good variety of local Singaporean food. With a few friends, we enjoy the good food and ambience. It was a pleasant dining.

Element buffet was good. Many varieties. Seafood was fresh. Service was good. friendly staff. Would RTE for sure. Met Freddy one of the most friendly hotel managers I've met thanks for the hospitality

A four star hotel. Probably an aged property but well kept. Staff are super nice and accommodating. Breakfast is okay, and could've been better. Location is great as it is within the area of shops and restaurants. The quality of rooms needs to be better especially the washrooms. Around $190 per night.

The Amara hotel is at great location, close to public transport, shops, hawker centers and restaurants.
The Hotel staff are very friendly, and accommodating. Rooms are neat and clean. Fantastic gym, not busy early mornings when I wanted to workout.
The Beds had proper firm mattress. And actually gave us great comfortable sleep.
We will certainly stay there again and recommend it to others.

was there at Element for buffet. The oysters are the size of a 50cent coin. very underwhelming. If you love seafood, it is not the place to go. The penang prawn soup was fantastic tho

Went for the international buffet at Amara Hotel's Element to celebrate a friend's birthday. Service was good at the start and throughout the meal, but was a bit bad at the end. We sat close to closing time, but rather than asking us to leave politely (e.g. saying they are closing now and hence we have to leave), a service staff clearing plates from neighboring tables spoke across a few tables saying they are closing and will close on the dot as they need to rush to take buses. At that point I was a bit appalled. We would totally understand that they are closing and would leave. Hence I am not sure why the lady had to say it in a "reprimanding kind of manner". Other than that incident, the service was still ok and the food was really good. =)

The Amara hotel is a very nice hotel. The staff are all very very friendly and accommodating and will go above and beyond to help you during your stay. The gym is open 24 hours and the pool is open until 10pm. The room service is available around the clock. Perfect for when you just land and still have jetlag! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody staying in Singapore. It's a 5-10 minute drive to the marina. The room was a little old fashioned, but nothing wrong with it all. Lots of mirrors in the bathroom too, which depending on body confidence can be a bad or good thing I guess! There is a fridge in the room, and a supermarket next door in the 100AM mall. I would recommend getting drinks from there and putting them in the fridge, as drinks are expensive!

Really nice business hotel close to the CBD and entertainment. Well maintained, friendly staff (they agreed to hold some of my luggage for two weeks while I was in Northern Europe) and a great breakfast. Easy walk to the Hawkers Markets for Singapore’s most authentic meal.
