Stayed here for my countdown to the New Year 2026. I could hear the fireworks and the people downstairs were cheering and lastly the countdown to the New Year! I also joined in with the goggle box that was going live! I was thankful that the counter staff came to my room to help me fixed the goggle box as I encountered problems earlier. However..the wifi was pretty unstable and it kept going off. That was pretty frustrating and annoying! Sighhhhh..

The hotel is located right next to the subway station, and the environment is quite clean with good service.

The room was tiny, and there was a rumbling sound every few minutes, probably from the subway passing by. The shower had great hot water pressure, and it's close to Chinatown with lots of bars around.

Butternut tree hotel is quite center of Singapore easy access to bus and mrt stations. Pbeat place to stay.

The room is a shoe box, you can hear everything from the front desk, staff make noise all throughout the night and early hours of the morning, no fresh air, bed up against a wall, no room for suit cases.
