Customers driving their own cars can park at the Chatrium Grand Hotel and call for a golf cart to take them to The Residence Hotel. Please drive through Rama 1 Road and enter via the Siam Paragon side. Parking is free; just inform the reception that you are visiting The Residence Hotel, and you can get your parking ticket validated for free parking at The Residence Hotel.

Customers arriving by taxi can have the taxi drop them off at the alley entrance on the Phetchaburi Road side as usual. Staff will be available to assist with carrying luggage to The Residence Hotel.

Hotel opened in 2005, renovated in 2012.

The hotel surrounding is under renovation and very dusty and untidy. The bath tub is small and the washing basin is slightly clogged

The reception service could have been better and have a more smell on the face.

Upgrade to a premier king room to have a newer renovated room instead of deluxe king room where it is quite run down with a small extra charge.

The air-con compressor can be quite noisy at night.

When checking out, the person at the counter had to go up to my room to do a check before coming back down to check us out. It took a while. And the 1000 baht deposit has to be in cash, cannot use card. Room was dated

The electricity shut down and THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY GENERATOR. We used the staircase to go down and it was COMPLETELY DARK. NO SIGNAGES OF OR EMERGENCY EXIT. WE REALLY GOT SCARED AND NERVOUSE ON WHAT IS HAPPENING. THEY JUST TOLD US TO WAIT. THEY DID NOT BOTHER TO CHECK ROOMS FOR SAFETY REASONS 🤦🏼♀️ THEY HAD ONLY 1 FLASHLIGHT IN THE LOBBY 😂

This is a great hotel to stay at, it is located near the centre of Bangkok in the Siam area, close to the Pratunam Market and Platinum Mall. It is well connected with the bus, BTS and canal within walking distance. The hotel itself is well maintained, the rooms are a bit compact but good, they provide basic things like locker, kettle and fridge. There is a nice small lawn near the reception with a seating area for having food. They also provide coffee and cookies every day at the reception. They also have a weighing machine for luggage and charge 10 THB per use. The rooms cleanliness was well maintained with daily room service. The only con was that they keep a security deposit of 1000 thb which is way too high, I have stayed at other hotels in the Pratunam area and mostly they keep 200-500 thb as a security deposit.
I stayed for 5 nights here and I'm happy with the rooms and service.

Quick check-in and check-out. Convenience store nearby - also walking distance to Siam Mall. Hotel currently undergoing renovation with signage that loud works will be carried out between 10am - 3pm only.

Personally, I wouldn’t book this place anymore. I came to the reception ask if I can weigh my luggage. To my surprise I have to pay 10 baht to weigh. Shouldn’t all these be included in the price for the hotel. The place is under going some renovation so you have to put up with the noise.

location was very convenient. the outside of the hotel was not the best visually but the room we stayed at was very nice and spacious. i wished the rooms had more light tho as we felt like it was a bit dark at times. hotel lacked amenities tho but staff were friendly. overall a great stay and would think about booking again.

Very good location in Bangkok, close to everything. The hotel is good for people traveling in a budget. Still very beautiful though and the hotel staff are very friendly and ready to help you
