Upon arrival, I was greeted with a complimentary ice pop, which was the perfect refreshing treat for the hot Bangkok weather. Although the hotel isn’t within walking distance of the city center, they offer a convenient shuttle bus service every hour, making it easy to get around.
Alternatively, taking a taxi using Grab to popular spots in Bangkok is also very convenient. The fare typically ranges from 130 baht to 300 baht, depending on your destination.
My only suggestion for improvement would be to provide better lighting for applying makeup, as well as an additional mirror outside of the bathroom for added convenience.
To top off my wonderful stay, I even received a thoughtful gift for good luck and fortune when I checked out—a lovely touch that made the experience even more memorable.
Overall, I absolutely loved my time at Shan Hotel and the exceptional hospitality I received. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

The complimentary shuttle service to the BTS station was a convenient touch, making city exploration effortless. We had interconnecting family rooms, nothing special, but modern and clean enough with a small table for ordering food.
The pool is tiny, and actually too cold to get into, the sun doesn’t shine through due to overgrown trees.
The breakfast was poor, a very basic continental for a high price so I wouldn’t recommend eating there.
Location although a bit far, it’s easy enough to grab the free shuttle service to BTS every hour.
It is a similar feel to a boutique hotel, the price was reasonable. On checkout we last one of our room keys, they charge 300 bahts to cover this, I can’t understand why they charge this, other hotels would not usually charge. I wouldn’t come again as I would prefer somewhere that was more family oriented, just a bigger pool and maybe some kind of play area. However was a good stay.
