Great location and staff, but cleanliness needs improvement.
Overall, Viangluang is a decent hotel with a fantastic location. The staff were very nice and helpful throughout our stay. If you are looking for good value for money and don't prioritize luxury, this is a solid choice.

This is a beautiful little hotel in Chiang Mai city. The grounds are a tiny little oasis full of trees and plants inside the city. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the staff is wonderful.
The hotel has a small pool.
Breakfast is mostly Thai food (noodles, congee, fresh fruit, stir fried vegetables) and they also had toast, juice, and ham and sausages and yogurt. Everything was delicious.
My wife and I thought the hotel was quite lovely and romantic.

This was an amazing hotel. So clean and the staff were very kind and caring. The location was extremely central. I can't say enough about how great was our stay here. If I go back to Chiang Mai I would go to this hotel again. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The floors were so clean they were squicky.

Lots of greenery, other than that breakfast, room and facilities are average. Location is on a quiet lane with quite a lot if cafes and eating places within 5-10 mins walk. Night bazaar about 15mins walk.

Perfect location in centre of Chiang Mai old city with great access to so many restaurants and activities. We loved the rustic yet modern room style which was so clean and the pool and other hotel facilities were top notch. The staff are also incredibly helpful and more than happy to give tips and help arrange bookings or tours. Overall fantastic hotel!

Amazing hotel. Incredible hospitality and accommodated our needs. The rooms are massive, bed is comfortable. Toilet is a tad dated but clean and lots of amenities provided. Breakfast had a good variety. The area is safe and quiet in the evenings and within walking distance to the night market and temples just off the main road. Highly recommend, great value

We had an incredible stay here!! The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old city and just steps away from the Sunday Night Market. We appreciated the friendly and attentive service and enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Ultimately we’d recommend this resort and look forward to staying again. 10/10!!

It's a very cool hotel. In an excellent location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My only advice is be careful walking the floors are very slippery.

A very nice, small resort hotel - on a quiet street. The location was perfect - in the center of old, gated downtown Chiang Mai. Lots of restaurants, bars and shopping within walking distance. Our room and bed was nice, comfortable and very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. This was rated as a 4 star hotel - and I agree on the rating. A nice buffet breakfast was included in the price. The only downside - the pool was small. But I would definitely stay here again.
