I used to love this tennis court, but my experience today changed everything.

I was charged an extra 300 baht just for bringing my own tennis balls, even though I wasn’t with a coach—I was simply playing with my husband.

We’re not professionals, just casual players who prefer to have plenty of balls on hand so we can actually enjoy the hour rather than spending it retrieving a single ball.

Over the past year, I’ve always brought my own balls and never had an issue. But today, they suddenly decided to enforce a new rule, with no prior notice.

I’m really disappointed by the lack of communication and the sudden charge—it left a bad impression after what had been a year of great experiences.

I would never use these facilities under any circumstances. I went to string 2 tennis racquets. The stringer had no idea how to properly string the raquet and cranked it so hard in the machine it couldn't breathe and was deformed from the vice. It was also strung with the words facing the wrong direction. After that I was given an extensive explanation how my tennis raquet has a specific side for each stroke? I showed him an instructional video on YouTube from Greg Parnell. It took 3 hours to complete the stringing the racquets came out deformed. We used tools on the stand that were sitting in the package still never used. Everything was coated in what was like fast food grease or lube? Through every eyelet I had to tell the staff to stop touching the raquet and string while it was being pulled, pressing on the bed and playing with the diablo length. I had them install grip which they decided they never done after confirming they were qualified to do it and the old one was uninstalled. It was installed uncut and the sticker all sloppy. It was entertaining watching them cut a sharp piece of string to put through the grommets and then checking if it was sharp with their finger smooshing it to then repeat the process an uncountable amount of times. I went back to string an additional raquet and the stringer had a temper tantrum because he wouldn't wash his hands and then wouldn't wash them with soap since they get so clammy that the strings unravel from excessive touch. The stringer kept demanding to do it his way and not the way instructed by a grand master stringer being used as reference. After that I had a denial of service. I couldn't imagine what an experience on the courts with the staff would be like if I had strings in my tennis racquets if this is normal behavior for them.
