Relax Beach Hotel

We had chickpeas every single day, pasta with ketchup, and meat that nobody eats because it’s basically scraps. The food was like something from a soup kitchen for the poor. During the day, apart from breakfast, lunch, and dinner, there was nothing else to eat. The food was regularly reheated. Whatever was left from breakfast was served again for lunch and dinner, and vice versa, they would just sprinkle some basil or something on top to make it look new.

The staff doesn’t know a word of English, not even the basics, so if you need anything you can only try in Turkish or by piecing words together. The sea is clean and beautiful, but the beach is not maintained at all. The umbrellas are ancient and filthy, and the sunbeds are broken. Terrible.

Also, there is a beach bar, but everything there has to be paid for, a single beer costs 4 euros. You are not allowed to bring your own food to the beach. If you come here, be prepared to spend money in restaurants so you don’t end up hungry. Rooms are tiny and that clean.

Watch out for the elevators, they’re really old, and the doors barely close. Luckily, we were on the second floor so we just used the stairs. The bathroom doesn’t even have a proper ceiling, so you can hear when people in other rooms are showering. The pools are small and dirty, with only about 20 sunbeds for 500 people. To get a bottle of water, you have to chase down the cleaners, and the vending machines are often empty, while the tap water is not drinkable.

The food selection is terrible. We’re not picky and we weren’t expecting anything special, but the food here is awful. It’s impossible to eat the same thing every single day. Everything is stale. We thought at least the fries would be okay, but even they tasted like they’d been sitting for three days and just reheated. There’s no cutlery on the tables, they often forget to put it out, so you have to run around looking for utensils if you actually want to eat any of that disgusting food.

AVOID THIS HOTEL! NEEDS NEW MANAGMENT OR CLOSING DOWN ‼️

We have been to a few hotels over the years, 4 and 5 star rated, this is absolutely no way a 4 star hotel this is Horrendous, I don’t even now how their allowed to serve food. I would never recommend this hotel to anybody, it’s the worst i have ever stepped foot in.

The rooms where clean, but sewage kept smelling throughout the cleaners for the rooms where lovely. The mattress wasn’t the cleanest and smelled like fags. the bunk bed steps padding come off and cut our daughters foot, and also where she moved in the night she cut her arm open on the material peeling. The maintenance in this place is a disaster,

Restaurant staff where rude, requested certain foods due to allergies and they couldn’t care less, “staff member all my food allergy free” no it was not I even google translated and staff member laughed and said all my food is good. The food looked like sick and worst thing is, you can smell it through out lingering.

Poor hygiene all around the restaurant, BBQ area and the bar. They don’t actually scrub the bbq area they just spray it, and whose pipe it down, and while they do that there are still chips or whatever food has been served up all over the floor probably entering the pool. All the greasy water gets washed down just imagine that bits that go over the drains and enter the pool.

The slides ain’t on very often, and the entertainment doesn’t last very long. They pick and choose who to invite to the entertainment.

This should have been a memorable holiday for us, but it’s was nothing but stress! From entering the hotel, to the lifts kept having a scan icon coming up, it’s not disabled friendly at all and neither are the staff.

bar staff don’t wash their hands after touching bins and straight to pouring cans, while cleaning tables they just use a damp cloth that had food spillages on goes on multiple tables!

The men’s smells disgusting, could be cleaned more, and use a stronger smelling product.

The juice machines are watered down!

When we first arrived we got told the rooms we were supposed to have weren't ready and we had to go to a room for 1 night and we could switch in the morning. These rooms stinked, had mold and no windows. When i complained we got a new room which was ready all of a sudden with a balcony and everything what we payed for. The people i went on vacation with noticed other things that where aweful like a tird somewhere on a bench (hopefuly from a cat or something) and unfriendly staff that could barely communicate in english. Our safe didn't work with the code we installed a day later. After that we had a problem with cockroaches in the hotelroom. The only positive i can say about this place is that the food is pretty good mostly the guy at the pool cooking fresh chicken and fries. Breakfast wasn't great we usually skipped it. Also it's nice you can enter the beach straight from the pool through a tunnel. We wouldn't recommend you going here at all it's not worth your money. A resort should have higher standards than this especially if you want customers coming back. People pay good money and go here for pleasure.

We rested in this all-inclusive hotel in October 2024, and before we got here we considered ourselves not picky people, since we previously rested in 3-star hotels in Alanya and there is something to compare, BUT this hotel changed our opinion.
I'll start with the PROS so that the review looks objective:
- the first line, a large number of free sunbeds;
- WiFi is free, pulls throughout the hotel, and is also available in the rooms and on the beach;
- a bar on the beach, where a vending machine is always available, where you can get water or artificial juice for free.
This is where the pros end, and the huge CONS begin:
- THE FOOD is the biggest disappointment, as I wrote earlier that compared to other three-star hotels, the food here is simply disgusting. Omelette and fried eggs, many different rolls and ordinary bread were usually prepared for breakfast. If you are a meat lover, then you will be disappointed – there is nothing but disgusting red soy sausage / sausages. There are also cereals, milk and fruits. As for fruits, there is a general perplexity here – in a country where very cheap fruits in this hotel are given only plums, apples and pears. It is also very puzzling that baked potatoes are given out for breakfast, but they are not given it either for lunch or dinner. For lunch, there is usually one kind of soup, tasteless stewed vegetables, you are the same tasteless stewed chicken, there was also fish sometimes. In the intervals between lunch and dinner, the national dish was usually always prepared – lavash with boiled egg, cheese and herbs inside, as well as with a lot of onions. It seems to look good, but when you see how a person cooks it with dirt under his nails and bare hands, then all desire to eat it disappears. For dinner, either fish or baked turkey. These dishes were, as it were, better and basically it was never possible to type on your own – the cook did it, in strictly limited quantities. Sometimes onion rings were cooked.
- CLEANLINESS is also an annoying moment, as the cleaning is very mediocre, just for show. Once we washed the floors during breakfast, which was very annoying, especially when you are asked to lift your legs, since you need to wash exactly where you are sitting - I am not a prince, and I can understand everything, BUT I am on vacation and paid to rest! The dishes are dirty, and plastic cups for drinks are generally without comments (photo attached). Tables are wiped very rarely, everything is stained. Smoking is allowed almost everywhere, and if you are a non-smoker, then keep in mind that there is always smoke around, and there is nothing you can do about it.
- THE STAFF is terribly rude, mostly they just don't care about the guests - for example, during a meal they just grab the plates from the table, and don't even ask if they can or not.
Also keep in mind that this hotel is very noisy - if the room is from the sea (we had room 1220), then the windows will overlook the pools /dining room - this means constant noise and din, loud music, as well as a constant stench from the dining room. The music is very loud, and you will not be able to fall asleep before 23-00, alas. The situation is no better with rooms whose windows overlook a large 4-lane road - there is generally noise 24/7.
To sum up, I STRONGLY do not recommend it, avoid this hotel! I have no idea where 4 stars come from, the most he can count on is 2 stars!

Definitely do NOT recommend. First of all the employees barely speak english (if at all) thus making the communication very difficult. If you like children or wish to come here with children then that is a plus, otherwise another negative (lots and lots of children).
Food is subpar, to be more precise it's rather disgusting - previous days food is reheated, utensils are NOT clean, everything is doused in oil AND to top if off I had metal in my food (picture added). Furthermore food is NOT being served throughout advertised hours (closed earlier). The drinks are also watered down and barely taste like they should.
Rooms themselves are not cleaned properly, toilets are dirty, the area under the bed is NOT vacuumed.
Staff given pamphlet states to ask for (pool) towel from reception - what they do NOT tell is you have to pay deposit of 20€.
The pictures do NOT reflect the real situation, pictures and reality are SO far apart it barely looks like the same hotel. It only looks good/decent from the outside, once you enter it is NOTHING like the pictures.
Half of the staff are (or at least seem to be) underage, including those working in the bar area and serving alcohol.
In conclusion it is by far the worst hotel I've ever been to and would NOT come here again.

Please don't waste your money here! I am currently here but I need to leave a review for other people to avoid this hotel!!
First of all all staff are very rude and they barely speak English!!!!
Secondly room is very dirty and it has a bad smell coming from the toilet (no fan or windows in the bathroom)
Thirdly Food is everyday almost the same with poor choices and especially no meat at all just chicken which tastes awful!!!
Drinks ( coffee is horrible)
Beer horrible
Juices horrible
Wine horrible
Extra pay for cocktails which are horrible as well and very expensive 🙄
For example one pina colada 8 euro (is not even pina colada is a mix of coconut juice and water🤣🤣🤣
Positive things this hotel is close to the beach like 2 minutes walk

BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU GO SHOPPING FROM BAZAARS....THEY CHEAT PEOPLE!!!

After an hour of waiting to get into our rooms, the hotel manager informed us that there is currently no room in the hotel, and that they have to send us to another hotel where we will spend the night, and they will come for us in the morning after breakfast. As we all came for 7 days, we couldn't use that evening, as well as the next morning, because we spent the same time on the way from one hotel to another. In the morning, the same manager came to pick us up at another hotel where, as an apology for the misunderstanding, he promised us that we would receive wine, fruit, and massages on the hotel bill, of which we received one wine of 0.5 L and 3 fruits. The accommodation of this hotel seems ok at first, but when you take a closer look, the hygiene is not at an enviable level. As for the food, in 7 days there were 2-3 types of dishes that rotate from day to day. The taste is terrible, but even when you have to force yourself to eat, you can't, because the hygiene of that part is clean 0. Dirty tables, plates, cutlery, absolutely everything. A large number of the hotel staff do not speak English, and in addition, it goes without saying that they are rude, arrogant and very unprofessional. On the beach, as well as in the hotel, in 7 days, there was no water 3-4 times, so of course, you cannot consume everything that is included in the "all inclusive" framework. The beach of the hotel, where you have deckchairs and umbrellas, which are rarely in good condition, does not have safe access to the sea, and you have to walk to other beaches in order to get into the sea itself. Alanya is a beautiful city and should be seen, but I sincerely recommend to all future travelers to bypass the Relax beach hotel so as not to remain hungry, thirsty, unwashed, for which they previously paid a high price.

There are many things horribly wrong with this hotel. Firstly buffets and rooms are anti sanitary. We got around 10-15 rooms and most of them had some kind of issues, be it broken remotes, missing batteries, runny fosit or broken locks. Additionally the pools were full of people even though we were promised places. In the end the buffet was horribly dirty, to the point where you wouldn't even want to eat there. One more thing is that all though types of rooms were sorted out months ago we got completely different, cramped rooms.
Wouldn't recommend, we ended up switching hotels only because the Relax beach hotel was unexpectedly bad.
