Reviews
For receiving the key we had to wait like 2-3 hours until the room was ready.
The location of the hotel is good. It is near the sea as well with 5-10 mins walk. Their is an easy passage way to the sea.
Beach side also had a bar, you can walk the distance with ease.
Allot of airco areas, nice when it's was blistering hot. Cleaning staff does a good effort! It's a nice but very big hotel.
Animation team provides plenty of fun things to do, and the late shows are fun to go to, theatre is not huge so be on time.
The spa/Haman is partially free, but be clear is you are not interested in a treatment, or don't like to be touched.
The opportunity for improvements:
The food is mostly lukewarm at best.
The main dinner hall is very crowded and loud... Try the second restaurant, less choice less people!!!
Sugary juice like drinks you can get yourself but for a coke or fanta, everyone had to go this one station that's open to get served, so do that first or your already little
Lukewarm food will be plain cold. Why they don't just put a few tap it your self.... Nu clue, not very logical.
Staffs English ability is not advanced, sometimes not even basic, which van kraag to difficult conversations when you need to ask something.
They where out of cola zero or fisetra allot,
Water slides are not open all the time, don't know why, but when they are the wait isn't long do you van go plenty of times.
Plenty of fruit!!!
The desert buffet is boring, it's all pretty much the same with different colours, overly sweet and little variation. But do mind I'm not really a fan of sweet stuff or baklava. One again plenty of fruit also.
The late night buffet, don't get expectations up, it's two pots of soup and defrosted dry bread, but when u arrive late and are probably starving, you will not care 😘
The usual inability often to find a sunbed since the towel claimers do their thing. But you can talk to hotel hospitality, very friendly German fraulein when we where there.
Ice creams are often melted, the freezer is continuously open and not plugged in.
The path to the shopping area is riddled with animal fleeces.
The potential danger
Allot of kids, watch them!!! They have a foam party, kids got pushed into a 1.60m deep pool by adults who only mind their own amusement, and then pushed by the same to the middle of the pool, adding foam they lose sight, can't swim and get foamed so they panic, we managed to save a few that were screaming for help, but the adults just party on.... So that's a big Risk and dangerous situation.
Non hotel trips are often with Landover jeeps, yes I said jeep, it's fun but be careful with children don't let them sit best the back door. You can often stand up and they will drive a bit wild but you can stumble or fall out to. And also when they drive you back, being in one of them on a highway is not as much fun with the driving wind or extreme heat when stuck in traffic. So do mind.
They are worth it! But know what you get in to, incl waterfights and getting hosed with child water..
Would I recommend, or come again, absolutely, I just share my experience to help others. There will always be development opportunities, no one if perfect! But it's a great resort, I recommend!
1. The hotel is intended for families with children of any age. But, there is no way they will be able to sleep before 11:30 pm!!! Because there are parties every night at the pool. It's fun for adults, just impossible for children who want to sleep in most hotel rooms. Lack of quality sleep for a child will make him sick.
2. The room cannot be darkened with a curtain, in the morning you get up with the sunrise. The idea is not to sleep in a tent, but in a dark room (my personal preference and that of many people) and it is impossible for the room to be unlit at sunrise and beyond.
As the rooms are partly old, partly new and beautiful.
Regarding cleanliness, the sheets were dirty, a layer of dust accumulated in the switches of the lights.
Regarding the food, there is a wide variety and you can find reasonable food sometimes even good.
The ultra all inclusive hotel??? Really, doesn't come close to hotels in other Ultra All Inclusive locations. The hotel has 2 restaurants, and the receptionist said that only those who book 7 nights or more at the hotel are entitled to eat at them (meaning that only those who moved to live in the hotel will enjoy them, 5 nights is not considered good enough for them, quite shameful).
Only after complaints to the customer service manager did I receive 2 meals and a change of room to a room not facing the pool so that the children could sleep at a reasonable time for them.
So if you have small children, they will have fun during the day and suffer at night, and hopefully won't be terribly tired for the days after.
We were a family of 9 and all but 1 of us ended up being ill with sickness & diarrhoea.
I could not recommend this hotel, the staff or the facilities.
You’ll see in different places a sign that reserving a sun bed isn’t allowed. This would be great, if it was enforced. We often struggled to find a bed but couldn’t find one. Lots of beds had towels on them but the people weren’t to be found for hours.
Second thing for the General Manager: consider replacing your ‘night time’ manager because of two things.
1. This man is very incompetent and rude, we saw him yelling and arguing on two different occasions with your guests in the middle of the lobby.
2. When I slipped in the public toilet near the lobby and hit my head (because the floor was mopped and there was NO(!) sign placed to warn people) we had to call an ambulance. This was necessary because to doctors office was unfortunately closed in the hotel at 16:15. I was presented with a bill of € 350. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem if covered by the insurance. BUT since the incident is the liability of the hotel the insurance is not paying. When we went to that same manager with this issue and used one of the eyewitnesses working at your reception desk as a translator, the manager started making up excuses and ran away from responsibilities. The guy never apologized or asked how everything is going, or you know showed any characteristics of a manager in the hospitality services. Now I have a scar on my face and a 350 euro bill which I’ve paid out of my own pocket because the hotel did not take responsibility and the precautions necessary to prevent these accidents.
