Where to stay with kids in Bodrum

Everything is very close to each other and there is almost no such thing as waiting in line for food, the pool or the seaside

We are currently vacationing in this hotel with a family + a dog. We really like everything! One big disadvantage, as for me, is the condition of the bathroom in the room

The pool is quite big but it is a problem to find enough sunbeds, it is probably necessary to go earlier

Very salty food, you could only choose the main course and dessert. I didn't feel much difference from an ordinary restaurant, it's just quieter here and the food is brought. The sea is beautiful, transparent, clean

We definitely need repairs!! There is mold and loose coating. The room is ordinary, without frills, everything works, there are no complaints. Regarding nutrition, everything is fine: delicious food, good cocktails

I just want to stand out, the Izzet service waiter is very courteous, quickly brings what you need, always helps and makes the dinner really pleasant with a smile

We had a wonderful mini holiday at Selectum Colours. The hotel offers so much- gym, pools, beach, water slides, water sports, play park, games room. The kids club wasn't great but I think it was low season

Rooms are very well kept, and the beds are firm and comfy. Views amazing! Didn't use the tv. A/C was good but could be cooler (it was 35°c every day). Grounds are stunning and clean. The main pool is really good

Got down there a few mornings about half 8, and it was so nice and quiet. Very crowded, after 10am struggled to get a bed and umbrella, but there is a relax pool, which was half empty

Would bring us drinks as soon as he saw it getting low without being asked. We used the italian for our a`la carte meal, food was lovely, and the staff was very attentive. Turkish reasturant we had for lunch a few days

We stayed in the hotel for the whole 10 days. Didn't feel the need to cause we had everything we needed, but on our way back to the airport, we saw loads of shops and restaurants that looked great

The resort is on a very large scale so do bear in mind that this part of Turkey is very hilly, so your calves will get a good workout for sure 😋 All inclusive means you get all the cheap local alcohol and drink sizes are small, so I was up and down to the bar every five minutes!! Service is hit and miss where some staff are really good, but some are just plain bloody rude and have no manners whatsoever

There is a lot of cold buffet food and thank god there was a BBQ grill outside!! The entertainment was just awful if I’m honest and one night I wanted to hang myself!! I definitely will not be returning here and Turkey is off the holiday list for me now

Firstly did not receive the standard pool/garden view room that we had paid for but one of the promo rooms I had read about and wanted to avoid as no view and very small. Also air con never worked properly for our stay

Myself and my family have been coming to this hotel for the last 4 years and we wouldn't go anywhere else. The location is perfect, one side the beach literally as you walk out the hotel and the other side all the shops

Hotel was located center of Gumbet, one hill away from Main Street by walk, it has one main pool, one pool slide opened on mid-day, one pool bar and only one restaurant under it

There are other ground floor level rooms if people struggle with steps however they can't avoid the steps completely as the restaurant and pool and bar are on a higher level

A taxi to Bodrum central costs 100tl which is around £3 and there is a taxi base at the end of the road there is also a bus that runs every 5mins which would be a cheaper option which also stops at the end of the road on the right hand side of the hotel

We were not disappointed at all and had an amazing view from our balcony aswell as we were at the top of the hotel which was some effort to get to as it was like 40°C and there were alot of steps to climb but it was definitely worth it for the view

We were there in the off-season and loved it even more. The location and amenities are excellent, food is much better than most buffet-style offerings, but the real attraction are the people who work there

Helpful, friendly, thoughtful and clearly this has been the case for a long time. In the short time we were there, several new arrivals greeted the staff like family, and we're obviously beloved returning guests

You go down the stairs of the pier and the water is waist-deep. For those who like depth and swimming, this is not your hotel

Staff very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The overnight staff at the front desk and restaurant had an incredible sense of service and customer support

The food at the hotel was very good and there were many types of cold and hot meals. The alcohols were really nice. There were no daytime activities at the hotel except for water polo and a silly dart game in the pool

Near some good bars and pubs where the nightlife is lively even on weekdays. Good to visit with family and sometimes has kids entertainment once dinner is finished

The property was sad, bathroom stank of backflow, many parts of the property were broken. The defense from the staff was that it was low season (winter) but if low season is like that I wonder how bad summer will be

You can feel the Kempinski spirit all over the place, which is hidden in small touches and amazing details, such as colour selection of the furniture, tea tree at breakfast, handmade arts of people with special needs, modern artists' creations, plenty of sustainable wood natural items, amizibg room views, quietness and silence, the sound of waves and birds etc etc

The sea is gorgeous and our room was spotless every day. We ate at the restaurants several times - Chef Mr Murat is seriously talented. His sea bream, lobster spaghetti, tiramisu and white chocolate soup were incredible

Our reservation process was seamless, thanks to Pinar Arslan, the reservation manager. Sude Nur, the breakfast coordinator, was always cheerful with her enchanting smile and made sure our mornings started off perfectly

That said, the general manager and senior management are clearly working hard to address these issues and have been very responsive to guest feedback. I'm confident their commitment will resolve these problems soon

Most staff work very hard, but the service lacks consistency and seems to be missing effective systems. The breakfast buffet, toilets and showers are full of flies - it's really unpleasant

The room looked ok, beds were not comfortable. The aircon was too loud to sleep with so we had to turn it on/off and didn’t get a good nights sleep at all. The bathroom was nice, shower was lovely

The balcony of sea view room was nice. Food at the restaurant was ok, the variety was ok, taste was ok. I think if we were adults only, we would enjoy this hotel more, with kids not much to do

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights spontaneously. We knew the location and the bay it was on hence made the choice. At the entrance it was advertised as ultra all inclusive

The location of the hotel is very convenient, 5min walking to the markets and yet very peaceful. The food is very varied, open all day long. The rooms are okay, nothing special

The hotel does get staff super cheap that way. One day, we found the housekeeping chaps had left empty beer glasses after consuming beer while cleaning the rooms. Guess they forgot to clear their own glasses

In conclusion, if you want a quiet vacation with good night entertainment for kids and family Latanya is a good choice, else if you prefer to spend more time on night walks in the city center then you should find another option

The rooms and the surroundings of the hotel was super clean. Hotel has its private beach and it is quite big. Also there is considerably huge pool area

The hotel was amazing, the staff and the service was good. Clean rooms, good food and beverages. The location is far from the city centre but there is a schedule for mini buses that cost 1 EUR

The only down side is that some people leave their towels on the sun lounge for hours without using them or the pool, it is the same for the beach area, I think the staff should not allow this

Other than that there’s not even one complaint that I can think of. All the personnel was super kind and helpful. Overall you get what you pay for and maybe even more than what you pay for

To move around taxi is your only option. rooms are cleaned very well regularly. The selling point of the hotel is dining terrace at the roof with astonishing view. I don't think any hotel in Bodrum has such view

The hotel is huge but superior room with sea view is oriented towards parking lot and it feels a little bit disappointed. Not sure how they choose who gets what, wether it's the agency you use or nationality

But, the room shold not be advertised as sea view room

The hotel service is very good. The restaurant is open until early in the morning. The outdoor swimming pool is super beautiful. The location is also very good. It is about a 14-minute drive to the city center

Isola restaurant can be preferred only for the view, but when it comes to Folie, it is a different world. The hotel was officially established for Folie. On the other hand, the cleanliness and staff are superb

This year the hotel made renovation, changed the staff. The food are better than last year and they have good animation. Im very happy. Golden sand and transparent sea

i have been to mio Bianco Resort for years now for every summer holiday! i haven't used the rooms but i have used the beach and i highly recommend it! there is an aqua park for kids and a clear sea! the service is decent!

Originally we booked a deluxe room with partial sea view but we got upgraded to king premium room with full sea view with balcony a few days before our visit! Travel time was about 30 min from airport

Breakfasts are good with variety of options. But the prices are above average so if you decide to have lunch, dinner be prepared to pay a good amount. The staff is very friendly so we had no problems with that

We had an amazing stay and really appreciated the tennis court on site + spa access for extreme late check-outs. Very close to BodrumCity for fun shopping&dinner outs. Thanks! We had a memorable stay

This was my first visit to Bodrum. I had been thoroughly researching hotels prior to my visit to pick the best bang for buck. Our pick was Susona, booked directly via Hilton app for 3 nights

Then the guy gave as a ride by buggy to our room and showed everything we had in the room. The room is spacious, clean with an amazing view of the sea. We had bed and breakfast included

The rooms are spacious and clean. Lound areas round the shining pool are very comfortable. The food!!!! If you like Mediterranean style food then it's fantastic but nothing English at all

It was our first experience in Turkey and we are absolutely amazed by customer service! Boys at pool bar and restaurant were super kind and friendly

You have to guess what the food is as nothing has labels, and when you ask the staff what it is they try their best but I couldn't understand. All the food is either luke warm or cold

They are hard workers and it is a challenge to keep bright smile all day long - and they were positive and happy every single day! I swear that entire floor of hotel property have been mopped 5 times per day (especially lobby)! So clean everywhere! Wish the receptionist know more of English, but they understand basic

However, we felt welcomed and very appreciated! This hotel is a very good choice!

The rooms are very clean, the housekeeping girls are cleaning the rooms every day. The service is excellent, all the employees are smiling while serving. The food is also nice, you will never be hungry

I found her quite rude - only greeted my husband and noone else,so that made me feel a bit uneasy. The day entertainment was a little repetitive,with the pool activities maybe more suited to children or teens

There's a wide variety of foods,not British fair but why expect that in another country? You visit other countries to experience other cultures and ways of life

Despite this they kept the good humour and energy up! There was often quizzes, karaoke and prizes to be won! During our stay a stray cat was poorly and Erkim made alot of effort to highlight this to managers so it could be taken care of,which we appreciated ,as our family are huge animal lovers

😊 Mr Ibrahim the general manager -lovely man ,who made our family feel very welcome. He always made an effort to talk to all of us and even introduced us to his family

He always asked if we were okay ,and had plenty of smiles and jokes. ❤️ Our daughters used the spa facilities -the spa staff come around and ask if you want to go. The man who spoke to us was friendly but a little pushy

Despite other reviews ,I did not find the rooms to be poorly cleaned- our towels and toiletries were always topped up,bins emptied ,just maybe a little more attention to floor and shower needed ,but nothing drastic

Harkan did an amazing job of entertaining just enough without being to much, good music and some games of dart with other guests. WiFi cost €15 per room, all 4 of us had full signal at all times

Wish they had a toaster but nothing more to grumble about. We went self catering, so did not use restaurant for breakfast, but the bar served food which was tasty and reasonably priced

Best value I've ever had Close to beach, just out the back gate and close to the restaurants and shops. Just 2 minutes walk to a little supermarket for essentials

Only thing I would recommend is a coffee machine at the bar as it took about 15 minutes to get a coffee

Would definitely recommend if you want a relaxing holiday or a base to stay while you explore

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The facilities were great, the rooms were comfortable, and the service was excellent. One of the highlights of my trip was meeting Mr
