Ideal location for visiting the sights in the old part of town as the big mosques are only about a 10 minute walk away. Surprisingly quiet for the location! All the staff we encountered were absolutely lovely and always greeted us with a smile. The breakfast had a good variety featuring cheeses, breads, vegetables and fruit plus the option of having an omelette. The tea was nice but the coffee was bad. (Please note the breakfast area is in an outside covered patio so be sure to wear a coat in winter!)
The rooms are not huge but big enough, though the mattresses could really do with an upgrade as we both had sore backs by the end of our stay. The hotel is currently undergoing some refurbishment so half of it is closed but this didn't disturb us during the stay. Overall everything is a little tired and could do with some freshening up but maybe this is coming soon. The only real negative was that our room wasn't cleaned once during our 4 night stay and we had to ask for the bin to be emptied as it was full.

Hotel is located 5-7 minutes walk uphill to city center. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Brekfast is okey, but kitchen is fully outside, so if you coming at winter you will must wear jacket while eating.

It feels very welcoming and all the staff are lovely and kind.
We checked in at around 10:30pm and a staff member walked us to a local restaurant when we asked about places to eat. The staff go above and beyond to meet guests’ requests and they are more than happy to help you out. The unit was extremely clean and the breakfast was really nice too. In a really good location, great walking distance to all tourist attractions.

Room is quiet and bed is comfortable. Stayed here last 3 nights after traveling around Turkey Amazing helpful staff.

I enjoyed my whole 8-day stay with my family here at Emirhan House. The host is hospitable, accommodative, informative, helpful and considerate. The staff are really polite, speak good English and easy to communicate with. House is clean and service is outstanding. Thank you.

Excellent location near the center and tram. Big lovely apartment with stylish rooms and 2 bathrooms. View on old mosque.
The only cone that there is no mop or vacuum cleaner in the apartment and cleaning service was only once in a week.

We were welcomed very hospitably, for which we are very grateful. Every day we were given different kinds of coffee, tea and sugar in large quantities, we did not notice any greed. The room was very clean, linens were changed, towels and plaids also every day, and there was daily cleaning. If wet cleaning was needed, we simply communicated it and it was done as soon as possible. The location of the hotel was very good - a quiet street, you could say a dead end, and it was very peaceful and quiet to sleep in, with all the major attractions within a 10 minute walk. Overall, we really enjoyed everything and found no downsides. If we come back to Istanbul, we will definitely stay with you again. We wish you all the best and thank you for your respect for tourists. You are an example to us!

I am writing this review for those of you who make a reservation to this Apartment and you choose a smaller price with option " no refund". You have to know that in case of car breakdown, weather conditions that will not let you keep driving, many hours to cross the border due to congestion, your child makes high fever just before you leave the house and you can`t reach destination or any other problems that you encounter when you make such a long way to Istanbul and it is impossible to check in the Apartment...well...you sure don`t get a refund, not 1 $. They will look at your money and will hold them like winning the lottery. You will not see anything. I wrote to them, explained, and they reply that sorry but this is the way it is. I don`t want a full refund, just 50% something...NO. 275 euros and not a single hour slept there. Now, I know that no refund for someone that changes his mind just because he found a better deal or any other similar situation, I can understand, but there are some situations that you just can`t see them coming. I payed 275 euros for this review :). Best of luck!

Clean rooms, but the double room that we got at the corner was smaller than expected. There's no lift, as with most accommodation in the area, but the helpful staff do take the initiative to carry your luggage for you. It's a short but uphill walk to the Blue Mosque/ Hagia Sophia.
