No welcome drinks
Very smelly bathroom. No nice toiletries. The water leaked on the floor after shower. So puddle all the time
The room was so cold. We were told this is the best theycould do
Located in a small narrow road where it can be over looked by the people across the road.
Lots of little tourists restaurants with extremely loud live music. Couldn't sleep at all.
Very very dark. There was only half curtain in the window. So no privacy.
The wall papers were peeling.
The TV didn't work
The only thing was good was the staff. Amazing staff
I booked this hotel for my husband’s birthday as a special treat, but unfortunately, we had to cancel due to the unexpected death of my grandfather just a week before our flight. I promptly informed the hotel of the situation and provided all necessary proof of the circumstances. At first, the hotel was understanding and assured me that they would process a refund due to the exceptional situation.
However, after weeks of waiting and following up, the date of our original booking passed, and the hotel suddenly informed me that they would not be issuing a refund, with no explanation provided. This was extremely disappointing and added stress during an already difficult time for my family. While I understand that policies are in place, the lack of transparency and the initial false reassurance from the hotel left me feeling misled.
I urge the hotel to consider better communication and consistency in handling such sensitive cases. Unfortunately, this experience has left a sour impression, and I cannot recommend them based on how this was handled.
Also , yes it’s close to istiklal but that’s all! It’s away from every other thing you want to do in Istanbul plus it’s up to a hill and you need to walk over 1km near vertical!
