Hotel Devman

It was not definitely like 3 star hotel as they claim it. More like guest house compared to 3 star hotel i was there before. But in general it was not bad. Good price and in terms of facility was ok. However some basic wasnt there like bin..... it looks very very old.
Window fell off on me and it was super heavy and injured my head and neck. It could be very dangerous and could lead to severe injury. Imagine, you don't expect and suddenly something over 60 kg fall on your head and is shocking.
Second thing that was terrible and shameful was booking taxi to airport. My flight was at 9pm and they told me 5:30 pm is good enough to leave hotel. I trust them and we agreed about price and reservation however they work with a taxi station. When we started after 10 min driver told instead of 1500 TL pay me 3000 TL I change my way to longer way (double milage) but lighter traffic to drop you on time. It was nonsence to me to make 45 km over 100 km. Its only for more money as they charge passengers by driving milage.
When I refused he intentionally drove slowly didn't change line in highway as other people to avoid getting stuck in traffic and was following a slow truck in front and it took me nearly 4 hours to get to sabiha airport.
Eventually I missed my flight. Its big shame and when I called reception to complain I was told kemal is busy, not available....
He could tell me in advance not after getting to the way and increasing price.
DO NOT book taxi by hotel and dont trust driver in istanbul as they selcet the longest way to charge extra. Couple of friends had same experience in istanbul. If want to get taxi and want to get to place on time with reasonable price must go 8-10 hours ahead of time or go by metro. Taxi is worst option in istanbul. Shame on him absolutely greedy with zero moral value
