The Havana Residence Mini-hotel

I will not forget this hotel because it was the filthiest hotel I ever stayed in. Broken toilet closets, old furniture, dirt on the floor, rusty shower heads, unserviced aircon, smelly room and mould.

It may be okayish for someone who doesn’t care about hygiene or just wants a dirty roof over their heads, but for the regular folk, this place is a NO NO NO.

Stayed for one day. Room very humid and weak wifi signal and the room above anyone moves you hear it very loud .Don’t recommend for a long stay. Hard to locate the building as no signs or name written

The worst hotel I ever stayed in in my life. Everything was shockingly dirty. The towel I was given had black stains and dry snots and mucus on it. They clearly don’t wash them between guests. The bed was full of dust and hair. Everywhere you look is dirty. The room received way too much light in the morning which wakes you up. Terrible experience.

As far as I'm concerned, this place doesn't satisfy even the basic requirements to be called an "accommodation". We booked this place for 1 week but left after 3 days because it was impossible to sleep. The rooms are all connected by a tiny staircase to the lobby... where the owner and his friends are also having parties until 3 am (basically 2 meters outside your door). The room itself also wasn't great, it was very dark and moist, we couldn't stop sneezing. One day, someone turned off our electricity. To top it all, after we informed the host that we are leaving, he refused to refund us for the remaining 4 days which we had paid in advance for. Avoid!!!

-residence/room just looked worn off/different than on the professional pictures (I doubt the declared room sizes, inside was like a hostel, small stairs)
-poor reception, only reception on demand (contact via whatsapp, and not punctual)
-the room cleaning was only on demand and very bad

After my friends cancelled their room for the next 2 more nights, because they got dirty towels+bed sheets over and over again (after asking for new ones), had an spider in the shower and didnt fell treated like decent guests, the voices of the hotel staff changed and we were treated differently.
My friends had to look for an airbnb and despite the promise of Mert and the other personell to refund 1 night, my friends didnt get any money back and this is 3 weeks ago - so dont trust them. The discussions and the bad vibe took us several hours of our precious vacation time but it is what it is, thats why i am sharing this.
If you have possibilites, choose another residence!
We cant understand the good ratings and we guess that many of the reviews are just plain fake, just be warned.

Such a waste of money! All of the towels were dirty or ripped. When i asked for a new towel, that one was dirty as well. We had a spider in the bathroom. The place does not look like in the pictures and is not as described. The online presentation and reviews score is very misleading and highly inaccurate. I would 1000% not recommend, this hotel is a scam.

Scam "hotel", very friendly before you pay, employees stop speaking english after you pay, spiders and cockroaches everywhere. Avoid at all costs

Before you pay everything is fine after that you will be foul and you can’t speak english well therefore they can’t understand what you want !! Totally non professional and not healthy atmosphere , your money will be in drain be careful
