Honey Hotel

Rooms were very clean. Service was exceptional with a smile. Bekir went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. Hotel managers and Bekir treated us like family and friends. Breakfast was good. We recommend this hotel.

We booked a room for two people at the Honey Hotel based on reviews, with our main criterion being a convenient location. We took the HVIST-12 bus from Istanbul airport to Aksaray and then a taxi to the hotel. The same method was used to get back to the airport, with the receptionist helping us to get a taxi. The hotel is within walking distance of Hagia Sophia, only a 5-minute walk away, and the tram stop is not far. The interior of the room was tasteful, clean, and tidy. However, it is necessary to remind the cleaning lady about cleaning your room in the morning. Breakfast was served in a restaurant next to the hotel, and everything was very tasty. The hotel and restaurant staff were very hospitable and friendly.
In the bathroom we had a hair dryer, and they provided us with shampoos, shower gels, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and some other useful things. They had a kettle and provided us with coffee, tea, and sugar, but I would recommend replacing disposable paper cups in the room as they leaked when filled with hot water. Our room had a built-in bidet toilet. Wi-Fi was available both on our floor and in the lobby. The TV had no Wi-Fi but had Turkish language channels, which is good if you're learning Turkish and want to practice your listening skills.

In our room, we found only two sockets: one at the entrance behind the door and the other next to the refrigerator and kettle. If there are two of you, you will most likely have to give up using the refrigerator or kettle if you need to charge devices. I would recommend replacing the plastic hooks on the bathroom door with more durable metal ones. There is a shelf above the toilet where you can place wet laundry after washing, but the laundry does not have time to dry overnight.

I would not recommend this hotel for families with small children due to the lack of an elevator and narrow stairs. Overweight people may also find the compactness of the room and shower challenging. The noise insulation was average, so it is advisable to take earplugs with you as the area is densely populated and can be noisy at night.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel to those who lead an active, mobile lifestyle and move around a lot, for whom the lack of an elevator and the compactness of the room will not be a problem.

Our stay at the Honey Hotel exceeded our expectations! The staff was really helpful and incredibly kind. They bumped us up to a better room with no extra cost, as they didn't want us to stay in the small room we had booked. The room was very comfortable, with air conditioning and hot water all the time and in general very clean. The breakfast is served in a restaurant close by, and the staff there was also nice. Breakfast options were a little limited but enough to last you through the day, which was the point anyway.
All in all we had a great stay at this hotel, especially considering the price we had paid, and we are glad we didn't trust the reviews we had seen on Google.

Wonderful hotel! We stayed for 5 days and we are impressed. The owner is attentive, he will help you any time and will answer any question. Also the rooms are perfect. Everything is clean. If we come to Istanbul next time, we will definitely stay here!

Close to all main places lovely places clean and people there ready to help you for your requests we higly recommend this place we will stay there again surely !!!

I loved it. The host are the greatest ever and I was so lucky to find this place. They make the best for you to stay comfortable and to solve anything is in their hands to do.
