Don’t be fooled by the photos or previous reviews – Marmara Deluxe Hotel does not live up to expectations. The hotel is very run-down and appears not to have been updated in decades.
The room we were given was dirty, with broken fixtures in the bathroom, and the shower was nearly impossible to regulate to a comfortable temperature. The toilet barely worked and felt generally unhygienic.
Breakfast was poor: coffee served in paper cups, very limited options, and the dining area didn’t feel clean.
We had booked five nights but checked out after just one. The hotel only offered a different room – no apology, no compensation.
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Marmara Deluxe Hotel under any circumstances.

Not as expected. Pictures on website are way more beautiful than in reality. We had mosture in the fridge. The service was good thought. Very polite, helpful. Nothing to change there except renovation to bring this hotel back to the glamour they seems to have.

The reviews of this hotel were extremely misleading. This hotel has not been updated in the past 30 years. The room was dirty. The controls in the bathroom were falling apart. It was almost impossible to get the right temperature in the shower. It took a certain technique in order to flush the toilet. The breakfast was terrible, coffe was served in paper cups and few available options on the breakfast table. We got a feeling of the breakfast area not being clean. We were supposed to stay 5 nights, but moved out after one night. The management offered no compensation, but only another room. However, we would not stay under any circumstances due to extremely poor quality of this hotel. There are many other great hotel options in the area.

Very good location near the tram and metro stations. The rooms are Abit outdated but at this price I can't complain. Breakfast was ok. All in all if on budget a good choice

Not clean at all

Location is great next to the metro station
They have underground rooms , pay attention when you make your reservation
Beds are not clean
And when I changed rooms the cleaning lady was napping on my bed 🙂
I don’t have a problem with her taking a rest but i have a problem sleeping after anyone 🤷♀️
I think they don’t change the sheets because i had 3 different rooms and were all the same , not clean !
The last room had hair on the pillow .

The best part of the hotel is its location. It is very close to the Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sophia, with easy acces to the most important historical attractions and near the T train station.
The reception and the overall design of the hotel are beautiful, but the hotel really needs a renovation. The furniture in the rooms is old, the bedclothes and the towels were clean, but in a bad condition. We booked two rooms, one of them was on the attic and it was noisy during the night, while the atmosphere there was very warm (there is an AC in the room, but the electricity is based on the door card, so it cannot work when you are not present). In the other room, there was a pregnant smell of mold (especially the day when it was raining). There is no view from the room, because of surrounding buildings.
The breakfast is diversified and good, but we had the unpleasant experience of seeing one of the waiters putting the rest of the fries from a person who just finished the meal back on the service container. I personally find this unacceptable.
Overall it was OK for just a few days, but I would not return to this hotel or recommend it further.

The best thing about hotel is its location
Its within walking distance of all tourist attractions in Old City
But apart from that not much in it
Small ,Old Rooms , seepage in washroom made it average hotel
