Saruhan Hotel

Saruhan Hotel is conveniently located near all the sites in the Sultanahmet neighborhood of Istanbul yet away from the frenetic and touristy areas, situated on a quiet street facing the beautiful sea. It feels like a home away from home and the service is beyond exceptional. The rooms, some of them with sea views, are lovely and spotlessly clean. During my stay the front desk staff, who are available 24/7, were always gracious and beyond helpful. A beautiful roof terrace overlooking the city is open all day into the late evening and serves a sumptuous breakfast. It was always wonderful to come back to the peaceful and quiet atmosphere of the hotel after visiting the busy sites around the city. I give this jewel of a hotel 5 stars on every level and look forward to returning!

The hotel is exceptionally well-maintained and clean. The terrace offers a fantastic view of the Bosphorus. The staff is incredibly friendly. Breakfast is an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel and will gladly return.

Book this hotel! I had a lovely experience for my long layover in Istanbul. The location is minutes from the big sights, public transportation, and shopping + boasts beautiful views and a free, delicious breakfast (far better than hotel breakfast in the US). Every interaction I had with staff was perfect, and they helped arrange rides to and from the airport for me. The neighborhood has loads of shopping and dining as well. Bonus points for the sweet courtyard cat and her kittens.

I love all details in this hotel , the homie vibes . Food on the perfect sea view. People who are working there . Cats 🐈 and cute plants. I feel safe and surrounded by my second family , thank you saruhan for making my trip to istanbul more than perfect . Thank you for your kindness and showing the beauty of turkish people .
Imagine , the AC was not working and the owner went the market and bought a fan to me jut to make sure that i feel comfortable. My son was go down stairs setting on the swing and play with cats . This detail make me feel great and will back again to my second family’s 😍

Absolutely everything was perfect. A few hours after arrival our room was upgraded to the bigger one without any additional cost - absolutely unheard of in other hotels elsewhere. The room was extremely clean, bed and pillows very comfortable and absolutely amazing breakfasts with a big variety of food to choose from. Every member of staff was very friendly and helpful - we felt as a member of their extended family since stepping into that fantastic hotel. Majority of bigger and much more expensive hotels should learn from that little gem how to provide such as excellent service. The location is very handy because all major attractions are within 15 minutes walk. I'll recommend that hotel to absolutely everybody coming to Istanbul.

I can't speak highly enough about the Saruhan and what a great value it was. It was clean, the bed was perfect and I slept like a baby every night. It was within walking distance to everything. A room for three adults isn't easy to find, the room was perfect. The terrace provided some incredible views of the city and the outstanding breakfast fueled us up for the day's adventures. The staff were always friendly and very helpful. Great value and an incredible visit, thank you. The photo was taken one early morning.

We loved it! Stayed here with small kids and were treated very kindly. It truly felt like they wanted to help us not only have a good stay at their hotel but also in Turkey. The breakfast was great, the view from the terrace amazing and our room comfortable. The only mar is that its not super close to public transit options, but it's a quick walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, The Cistern and so many shops! I highly recommend!

Well run family hotel very close to all the tourist attractions. It is a short walk to the Tram station as well. The staff is very, helpful , friendly and polite. When asked for, we got some genuinely good recommendations from the staff. The view of Sea of Marmara from the terrace level is breathtaking! Enjoyed watching sunset and sunrise from there!

The family room is very spacious and comfortable. The booking process was also very smooth. The hotel staff responded very promptly to all my emails. The place was value for the money. Though the hotel is close to the city centre it was very peaceful and quiet.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights recently. The room was very clean; staff were polite and helpful. Location is great: you can walk to most of the major tourist sites in about 10 minutes. Breakfast area is on the top level with a terrace that has great view. Breakfast has many varieties and the food are delicious. The only complaint that I have is...there is no water boiling kettle or facility in the room: if you want hot water for tea or coffee later of the day you will have to go to the breakfast room which closes at 10 PM. Overall we had a great experience at Saruhan Hotel. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Great family run hotel! I had booked this hotel for my parents, and the booking experience was smooth with all questions addressed promptly. The sea view room is wonderful and clean. The hotel service is exceptional. Special mention for the delicious breakfast spread! Thank you very much!
