Reviews
I will give a full break down of everything on this hotel.
I am a very well traveled person, been traveling for 12 years solid.
I work in the hospitality industry, at the time when I first arrived the welcome was not very welcome.
I was told that 1400 was check in time my room was not ready when I arrived at 1400pm.
When I checked into my room which I paid extra for the premium room it is not great at all.
The all inclusive drinks are extremely strong making you not want to have another one.
The food on the all inclusive side of things cannot be rated it is disgusting.
You are allowed one meal at one of their premium restaurants which the courses are extremely small, they are trying to survive for the next day.
As you can see by all of there bad reviews the hotel comments that it will be checked and thank you for each value review.
None of this is done.
The breakfast is always late when asked to the restaurant manager he says no staff at the moment.
I will not recommend this hotel please with all do respect it is better to find another hotel with better options and staff that actually care about their guests.
None of the staff speak English it is very difficult to communicate with any of them.
I cannot recommend anything here I had a very long uncomfortable stay with this hotel and I will never return.
The entertainment is mostly for kids
There is not much entertainment here please understand that if you pay for at least a bit of service one should think English would be understood.
All the best.
This hotel is quite basic, not a flashy 4-5 star.
BUT the staff is nice (just be nice to them don't just demand like some of the Brits and Germans who drink beer for breakfast just because it's all inclusive. 🤮)
Rooms are basic but tidy and you get the room cleaned every day unless you say otherwise. Upon arrival, check your room for towels, soap, blankets ect. Then go to reception if something is missing and NICELY ask for things you need.
There are two tennis courts you can use for free. The receptionist can give you some basic rackets but careless guests keep losing the balls so you might want to buy them in a local shop.
The pools are not heated but nice and clean. We went in October and still forced ourselves into the water 😅
The private beach is great, the sea water is way warmer than the pool. Water is stunningly clear with sweet fish shawling around your legs if you just stand and wait.
You have food all day long so even if you miss lunch, you'll have burgers ,wraps, pizza ect after that.
The restaurant food is a bit basic but the variety is wide. Take small amounts first for tasting instead of piling up a mountain of food that you won't eventually eat.
The place is full of cats and kittens and they are fed by guests and staff as well. They are part of the hotel life, so don't treat them like pests. If you ignore them, they'll walk away from your table 😁
The free cocktails are dead strong as they pour the cheap alcohol like water, no measurements whatsoever. If you want quality alcohol, you have to pay. Your wrist band won't cover everything 😅
It's an attitude. Go there with a mindset that you will enjoy your holiday, be nice to the staff and don't just stay by the pool. Go to other beaches, explore, go to Ephesus (well worth the trip!) Take cards, board games, enjoy your evenings.
I'd say go off season. I can't imagine how loud and crowded this place can become when the lager drinker Benidorm style guests start flooding in.🙈
Have a great time 🌞
The food was definitely a highlight. There was so much variety, and everything I tried was delicious, especially the desserts. There was always plenty of food for everyone. The à la carte restaurant was another standout—not just for the food but also the incredible view. The staff there were really friendly and made it a memorable experience. There are also a few bars that serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks all day, which was perfect whether you wanted a refreshing drink by the pool or something stronger.
The hotel has three pools, including one for kids, and they play music by the pools during the day, which made it even more fun. The beach on-site is a bit small, but Ladies Beach is really close by and perfect for swimming. The city center is also just a quick bus ride from the hotel, and it's easy to catch a bus right from the front gate.
After dinner, I would often walk around the hotel along a lovely path that winds through the property. During these walks, I checked out the nightly kids' show. While it looked great for families, it wasn’t really for me since I don’t have kids, but it's a nice touch if you're traveling with family.
The staff were amazing—always helpful and super friendly, which made my stay even better. Overall, I had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing vacation.
I recently stayed at your hotel, the International Gran Blue Sky in Kuşadası, for 14 days with my family. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory, and I would like to bring several issues to your attention.
1. Accommodation Issues:
• Despite traveling with my children, our family was split between different buildings. This separation was inconvenient and affected our ability to enjoy our time together.
• The cleanliness of the rooms was highly inadequate. I had to go to the reception 34 times during our stay to request that our room be cleaned. Despite my requests for the cleaning to be done before 2:00 PM, to avoid disturbing our rest during the hottest part of the day, housekeeping would often arrive after 2:00 PM. Even then, they only changed the towels and didn’t clean the room properly. This lack of attention to detail and scheduling was very frustrating, and it seemed that the hotel was too busy and understaffed to manage basic housekeeping tasks.
2. All-Inclusive Services:
• The service at the bars and restaurants was particularly disappointing. Despite the all-inclusive package, we frequently experienced discrimination. It was evident that local guests (Turkish) were given priority over us when ordering drinks and food, leading to long waits and substandard service.
• The quality of food was unacceptable. On several occasions, we encountered spoiled food, including stale pastries, rancid potatoes, and even inedible soups. The knife provided to cut bread was poorly maintained, wrapped in aluminum foil, and not up to standard.
• The specialty restaurants (Seafood, Ottoman, and Italian) offered identical menus, which was disappointing given the expectation of variety.
3. Safety Concerns:
• We enrolled our children in the Kids’ Club, but when we returned to pick them up, they were not in the designated area. They were unsupervised at the beach, which could have resulted in a serious accident if not for the presence of their grandmother. This lack of attention to children’s safety is unacceptable.
4. Language Barrier:
• Many staff members did not speak English, making it difficult to communicate, request assistance, or even make restaurant reservations. This lack of communication significantly impacted our experience.
5. Beach Facilities:
• The beach chairs were consistently occupied early in the morning, leaving us without adequate seating. Despite raising this issue with the management, no action was taken to rectify the situation.
6. Overall Experience:
• While the hotel’s location is beautiful and the grounds are well-maintained, the management’s lack of attention to guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and safety marred our stay. The overall experience was disappointing, and I cannot recommend this hotel based on our experience.
I hope that you will take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to ensure future guests do not encounter the same issues.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
A useful note for the people who will travel by bus (from the terminal): there are some minibuses (dolmuş) available. You can easily take them instead of paying taxi fair :D
Very clean. Food is various and delicious. Location is on Ladies beach. Hotel beach does not have sand like on Ladies beach, but it is ok
Food, enertainment etc is adjustable more for Turkish guests rather to foreigners.
firstly the hotel itself is beautiful, the location, the pool and the beach was stunning. the rooms were nice and big and clean, however our air con didn't work properly.
the reception staff and cleaners were friendly , there was 1 bar man in the middle round bar that was great, but the rest of the staff werent very welcoming at all. There were not many English speaking staff and the language barrier did become difficult when ordering drinks. Many times the orders were wrong and the cocktails were awful but the beer was fine.
The entertainment wasnt very appealing to us but seemed to be a popular hit with the rest of the guests as it was always full, not enough seats to accommodate
The food was boring , repetitive and tasteless, there was always big queues and the desserts table was always empty by the time we managed to get there.
a few days into our stay and large group of young males turned up. ( we thought this was a family holiday resort ) there must have been at least 30, and they were soon to take over the restaurants bars and pools. The day after that another load of young adults turned up 50 maybe, this holiday resort soon become an 18s to 30s hotel. They were rude and loud and was partying until 5am in the morning. Along the hallways and on their balcony's. I am not sure why this was allowed, luckily this was our last night of the stay, I would not have put up with no sleep for another night. We wouldve found a new location.
Overall we are very disappointed with our stay and it was not what we was expecting after reading all the great reviews.
