Green Nature Diamond Hotel

Stayed here with my wife, good service all hotel staff are friendly and hard working especially the restaurant staff. If you a going here I recommend at meal times you get your own drinks as the staff do enough and don’t need lazy people demanding the staff to get them drinks. People should have more respect towards them. Meal times are like feeding times at the zoo people are animals, food repetitive same food day in day out. What can I say it was a dreadful experience I should also mention that on rainy days it is nearly impossible to get a seat indoors at dinner time, people like to sit there with there extended family from the start of the meal time till the end and drink which results in people having to sit out in the rain so if your booking here keep this in mind and please don’t be selfish. Along with this I find these types of families are joining about three tables together then leaving them for the staff to move back once they are done, again this is laziness the staff aren’t there to pick up after everything and people need to be more respectful I noted this was mostly the Dutch doing this, I observed a elderly women waiting about looking for a seat while a Dutch family sit across four tablets on their phones with one even had a un lighten cigarette hanging out his mouth, sat there acknowledging that she needed a seat but decided to stay there on their phones while their children ran about wild running into other guests. Children running up and down the hall playing chap door run away at 10pm parents obviously not wanting to deal with them. Shower jumps from freezing cold to boiling hot within seconds so getting washed is very uncomfortable, the shower door in our room didn’t close properly which resulted in getting hit in the tail. Toilet seat wobble from side to side when you sit on it. Fridge was very dirty. Location is fantastic, not hotel related but something to note you will be harassed while walking down the ***** if you don’t not go into a restaurant you will be called a naughty boy or if you don’t buy from the shops they will tell you that you have no money when your just not interested in buying their fake t shirts. The harrsing is unbearable at times as many of the restaurant staff will block your way to try and get you into your restaurant no matter how many times you tell them you’re not interested. The public toilets in the hotel stank, my wife said the female toilets smelled like a Womens front bottom, I understand that you cannot put toilet paper down the toilet but the smell was unbearable and the bins need to be change a lot more often. This hotel would be five stars however had to take two stars off as the entertainment is diabolical. I’m not sure what I was watching. Looked like four girls that hopped in a time machine from 2008 in a lady gaga poker face music video. Mixed Experience – Some Highs but Many Lows

The staff are friendly and work incredibly hard, which we really appreciated. Rooms were okay — we had one with three single beds, and it served its purpose.

However, the mini-fridge wasn’t refilled daily as expected; we had to track down the staff member each time to get it sorted.

Day and night entertainment was decent, though it did get repetitive in the evenings, so we ended up going out a few nights for a change.

The food was lovely — you could eat plenty if you were willing to wait. Expect to queue for about 20 minutes at dinner after spending 10 minutes trying to find a table. The dining area felt chaotic, with people pushing, shoving, and cutting in line during tea time.

Finding a spot in the lobby bar to relax after dinner or a night out was nearly impossible. The hotel doesn’t seem to have enough seating to cater for the number of guests. No entertainment there either, which was disappointing.

In my opinion, the hotel is just too big to properly function as a 5-star resort. I’ve stayed in smaller 3- or 4-star hotels that offered a much better experience overall.

One major concern: my mother-in-law was asked by a cleaner for money because she was going to be off for two days. She was approached directly and asked for cash before even cleaning the room — this felt really inappropriate.

If you can get this hotel at a bargain price, then sure, it might be worth it. But I personally wouldn’t rate it as a true 5-star experience.
