We stayed at this hotel from 2nd to 16th September from the first day we were very impressed with the staff food was good the room was cleaned every day and bedsheets changed every 3 days location to beach and flower street we great special mention to the manager at bar was a great guy thank you for a great holiday

Friendly staffs which ensure that your stay is memorable. Good location. Easy parking space. Nice facilities.

Hotel Karlovo was spotlessly clean. The rooms are basic, which suited me as we didn’t spend much time in there. There is a mini fridge in the room but no kettle. We took our own travel kettle. The air con is beside the bed which was great for me but not my hubby. Our room faced the road and was a bit noisy but we closed the windows at night and it kept the sound out. Just meant we needed the air con on all night. The food was nice but nothing fancy. Breakfast had plenty of options hot and cold. The pool was lovely and quiet most of the time and always managed to get a lounger no matter what time of day we went down. Great service from the bar, specifically from Ivo. Overall it was a great stay. No complaints at all.

We were due to leave on 11th August but the day before I was involved in an accident which meant I had to stay in hospital for 3 nights. The staff ensured that my family were looked after with food and rooms they were extremely caring I was so grateful knowing that they were able to stay in the accommodation. The staff were amazing this included, Rachel, Ivo, and the hotel manager, even down to the cleaners on a daily basis. Our stay at the Karlovo was 1st class. They made us feel welcome from the day we arrived to the day we left. On my return from the hospital everyone showed their concern and they couldn’t do enough for us. I will be extremely grateful to all of the staff at the hotel. They understood how upset my family were and gave us an extra room when I was discharged from hospital.

Hi Guys Just Returned from sunny beach after being there for 9 nights hotel was amazing can’t fault it at all, breakfast wasn’t the greatest but we weren’t there for that just all in one quality hotel see you very soon

We are just back from a great week at this hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. It also overlooked the pool which was a bonus. The beds were comfortable, so we slept really well. We hired a kettle and got into the habit of sitting on the balcony with a cup of tee to watch the sunrise, and already it was hot. The bathroom was also spacious and very clean. All the usual toiletries were provided although we didn’t use them. There were small handtowels provided over and above the usual 4, these were ideal when washing your hands after using the toilet. The breakfast was good and plentiful, so even the pickiest of eater will be satisfied. The restaurant staff worked tirelessly, and tables were cleared and cleaned very quickly. The public area is small, but comfortable and well appointed. We had a pleasant welcome on arrival, and this was continued by all the staff. The staff here are brilliant, from the cleaners to management. Valentin and Ivo were the two we interacted with most and their level of English was ideal. The clientele was quite cosmopolitan, and everyone interacted well. Position of the hotel in the resort is good, 30 meters from a bus stop for your trips to Nessebar. And 5 minutes’ walk to the beach road. We would definitely recommend a trip to Nessebar, as this is a beautiful little peninsula full of history. We would have no hesitation of recommending this hotel and are looking to book a return next year just as soon as the prices for August are published. My partner and I are just back from here and what a great 10days we had.
The hotel was lovely, rooms cleaned more than I expected, staff very friendly & welcoming, Antonia the waitress is just a sweetheart girl always greets you with a smile and will do anything to help...
Bar staff are also lovely, i heard a few moan about valentine being sour faced but what people need to remember he is dealing with lots of different nationalities,he can speak & understand English (can you speak his language Bulgarian!!!) when you get to know him he's a lovely guy, also his son who is a lovely boy...
i have to give Ivo a mention he's also a lovely guy, always happy, singing away his english is brilliant too both always greeted us with a smile and hello as did all the staff so no complaints whatsoever about the staff....
Food is good too, pizza & spaghetti bolognese was lovely....
There's and iron on each level of the hotel so no need to take one...
We paid 40 lev to hire a kettle for 10 days....
Room was spacious and very clean....
There's no entertainment at the hotel but you can get that elsewhere,
Beach and flower street within 5-10 min walk very busy but worth going to...
Nesebar (old town) was gorgeous and a must visit, 15 lev each there and back by boat which can be found at the pier, however there is a bus you can get which costs 2 lev each....
This was our first time in Bulgaria and hotel karlovo we will definitely go back, cant wait to book for next year, the weather was amazing, temp in july didn't go below 29c the whole time we were there...

Just returned home after spending 3 weeks at the Karlovo Hotel. This was our second time there and we’ve already booked for next year. Great hotel, 5 mins from beach and 10 mins to Flower Street. Room was large, very clean. Bedding and towels were changed every 3 days. For the first 2 weeks for breakfast there was a limited selection of cereals, cakes, fruit, etc and we were given a menu to choose a hot selection from. This worked really well as everything was freshly cooked and as the hotel wasn’t busy saved on the food waste. The last week it went back to a buffet breakfast for both hot and cold food. Everything was very well presented and there was always a good selection. There were no issues with sun loungers around the pool. We had an issue with the air conditioning not working in our room and because it couldn’t be fixed the same day they moved us to another room, excellent customer service. Staff are really polite and helpful and very quickly get to know you. The hotel is very quiet and has a curfew for music of 11 pm. We love this hotel and can’t wait to go back for 3 weeks next year. A 3 star hotel with 5 star service.
