I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days in sofia and the room was very clean and nicely decorated. The service was amazing and the people in the reception were very nice and helpful. I think the location is very good but the price per night is a little bit over priced.

This is a very friendly, family-run hotel. This our 3rd time staying at Hotel Romantik.

Nicely rehabilitated hotel. It has all the basics, if you are looking for a clean spot to sleep with a very accessible location. The street is a little iffy but doors are very secure.
Nice staff. Cute rooms. Could be a little cleaner (found a lot of dust and an old busticket from February under the bed, etc). We had a lot of mosquitos in our room in the night. But all in all a good experience.

beds uncomfortable for me at least, very clean, they do the job, reception is 24/7 which is good, kinda strange with the restaurant, wouldn't recommend breakfast because you don't get your money worth. Because of its location the prices are good, but the rooms lack natural lighting and the lamps aren't strong with white light. The shower is great, you get your accessories.
Perfect location, cleaned room and friendly staffs, near by hotel there are hidden great restaurants. And don't miss the special coffee shop around there:)

Set in leafy beautiful Boyana, rigth in the quiet centre, a couple of minutes away to the lovely gardens of Unesco designated Boyana church. I have stayed at this place several times when coming to Sofia; it's like coming back to to a family who meet you with all the extras a hotel offers. Unreserved five star!

No one speaks very good English, the staff is not even aware of the hotel's own services (ie on the way there they were happy to offer a transfer to the Airport but on the way back they said all they could do was to call a taxi). This hotel is located to the south of Sofia in the shadow of the mountains. Small, friendly, comfortable hotel it has no restaurant at present but there sre cafes and restaurants nearby. Dont trust the lift it is unreliabile. The rooms are large enough and clean. It is a short bus ride to the centre of Sofia and there are walks in the mountains.
Amazing stay, beautiful views and the rooms are great. Love the village atmosphere on top of the big city!

The price is ok. Underground parking is a nightmare to get in/get out. I gave up and left the car outside (long one).

We went to the restaurant only. It's a great daily lunch menue for 11.30 leva ( tarator& courgette rice). The restaurant was spacious and the service swift& friendly. The portions are rather big& a good price. The chocolate souffle is freshly baked and like a lava cake still hot and liquidy. Child friendly.
